I love this mechanic! I ve been bringing my car here for years, after an older car had a leak in the brake fluid line that made the brakes get softer and softer over time. I brought it to multiple mechanics and they kept blowing me off and saying that the brakes in that style car were just soft. I was literally having nightmares about not being able to brake the car. I brought the car to Satellite at a recommendation from a friend and they listened to me and found the problem right away.I ve always found that they listen to me, explain things when I ask, don t overcharge, and even refer me to the dealer for fixes that could be under warranty to help save me money. Also the shop is metro-accessible (though a bit of a walk) so it s relatively easy to drop my car off and come back later.

I was happy to reconnect with Moe at Satellite Motors after many years of having my car serviced under warranty at a Toyota dealer. Moe is very experienced, knowledgeable, detailed, and helpful in explaining and applying the exact services needed to maintain Toyota Avalons for many years into the future. He is punctual and always willing to breakdown services that are essential and urgent vs those that are needed, yet can be delayed for a specific time period. I especially recommend Satellite Motors for car owners who plan to keep their cars running well for 10+ years!

Another great service at Satellite Motors, this time for our Subaru Outback. We ve been going to Satellite for over 25 years and they are just the best. Moe and his team do excellent work, are honest and never recommend work that s not needed. And they are conveniently located in downtown Silver Spring, a short walk from the metro. I highly recommend them!

I highly recommend Satellite Motors! Moe was wonderful to work with and thorough with the job that he executed for our family members car. I absolutely appreciate him sending me a video to show me other issues we needed to be aware of down the road. It is this communication that is worth its weight in gold to me. When my Toyota is out of warranty, I will gladly have Satellite Motors service my car.

I have trusted Moe and Satellite Motors to assess and fix two very used cars for my kids when they got them. I am confident based on their reputation and my family experience that they will fix what needs fixing and just as important not fix what doesn t need fixing: they treat us fairly. Satellite is the best. They've kept our cars on the road for more than 40 years. The reason we drive Toyotas is because back then, that was all they serviced. Now they service all rice burners. Why are they so good? Skill & integrity. They know their stuff and are careful to make sure that all systems are in peak condition. This most recent visit they discovered a couple of incipient problems we didn't know about & fixed them. Over 40 years, occasionally stuff has happened, and they've always treated me right. No one's doing wall jobs at Satellite & no one's saying "Oopsies!" & putting on the road a vehicle they've accidentally damaged. Great service at a great price. I'll never go any where else.

Moe was able to find a replacement mirror for me that Toyota said was back-ordered. He replaced it quickly, and saved me several hundred dollars compared to what Toyota wanted to charge me. He is as honest as can be, and always does excellent work

I love Satellite Motors! They provide great pricing and excellent service. They keep my SUV running in tip top shape. Moe goes the extra mile. He saved me money on a leaky battery replacement by calling the manufacturer to verify it was still under warranty and got the battery replacement for free. Been with Moe for a few years now after Bob of Bob s Toyota retired. He has continued in that fabulous tradition. Good service, fair, honest and informative. We took our 18 year-old Toyota Prius to Satellite Motors after having used another mechanic for years. Satellite Motors first did a comprehensive check of our vehicle and discovered many deferred maintenance items. They worked out a plan to address those over a several month period.Thanks to Satellite Motors, our car now even has it's own website! Well, online service history, but still!

My husband and I have been taking our cars to Satellite Motors for the past 2 decades. We always receive excellent service and because of this, we have been able to keep our cars running for a very long time. You are never pushed to have them perform a service that doesn t need to be done. They are very honest and don t try to cheat the customer. Since 1986, I have been taking my Toyota Corolla's to Satellite Motors for service, maintenance, and repairs. That should tell you a lot. They have always provided outstanding service and they are the consummate professionals and friendly. And they have always answered thoroughly and without hesitation the many questions I have asked. I am just back from a routine service visit of my late model low mileage Toyota Camry Solara. I bought this car new in 2004. Previous cars of mine were also serviced there andI have been a satisfied customer of this business since the mid-1990s. It is important to me to know what is going on under the hood. I appreciate the thorough way Moe and his team of mechanics diagnose what is going with my car. I trust them to monitor issues that may need attention going forward. I prefer not to be surprised by sudden repairs. At a result, I believe I am driving a safe old car that has a lot of sentimental value to me. I trust Satellite Motors to help keep this vehicle safe going forward.

Satellite Motors is the best car maintenance facility ever! I have taken my vehicles there for over 20 years. They are experts in Toyotas and other foreign cars. My first Toyota 4-Runner went over 300,000 miles before I purchased another. My second 4-Runner is approaching 300,000 and running without any problems. Satellite Motors provided cost estimate ahead of time, informed of unanticipated parts needed and costs, parts were ordered from various sources (due to being an old car and many services were provided), cost was as expected. Preventive services were also provided. Mo, the owner, is a straight and honest shooter. I've been taking my Toyotas to Satellite Motors since 1990. I travel a fair distance to get to them. Although I think they are pricey I feel going to them is worth the expense and inconvenience for me because they are honest and do very good work. In addition, if there is any problem with their work they will quickly fix it. The owner Mo is easy to communicate with by e-mail and quick to respond to my questions. They kept my 1986 Corolla running like new for 14 years and have kept my 2000 Celica running like new for 22 years. I have very high standards and do not recommend many businesses but I highly recommend Satelitte Motors.Service: Brakes

They were exceptionally thorough and communicative. They kept us aware of potential problems but also did not suggest repairs that were not necessary right now. The assessment revealed problems we will need to address that other mechanics had never suggested. Moe and his team are amazing. My 2008 Infiniti G35 suddenly leaked coolant and the dealership's repair estimate was so expensive, I was considering a new car. I called six different auto repair shops in Downtown Silver Spring, each called back minutes later only to say they unfortunately could not handle the repair my Infiniti needed. Moe was the only person to confidently let me know what the problem was, reassure me he could fix it, and give me a solid estimate, that was significantly cheaper than what the dealership quoted me. We ve been bringing our Honda and Toyota s to Satellite Motors for more than 15 years. Their mechanics are experts who keep up-to-date on all the latest technology, service is always on time and reasonably priced. Great value from folks I love to do business with. A couple of years ago we were driving to Maine for a family vacation and ran into mechanical problems on the NJ Turnpike. One call to Satellite gave us all the info we needed to deal with the issue while on the road and relieved all our car anxiety for the rest of our vacation.
