There is definitely some communication issues at this particular NTB. Last week I scheduled an appointment for an oil change, tire rotation and brake fluid exchange through their website. I even called to confirm I am getting those services. I attempted to do an overnight drop but their box didn't have any paper in it and the envelopes were all sealed with nothing in them (red flag number one). I dropped the car off in the morning with my wife and they are making me write down all of my information (which included the services I needed). I go on my merry way. I call later afternoon to find out that they already called me (My phone shows no record of them calling me). The gentleman I spoke to said I needed new tires, an alignment, and new brakes/rotors for my rear brakes. He claimed that they inspect each car no matter what (this is important later). I'm like okay. I think about it and I go pick up my car the next morning (while doing research on tires). I see my wife's car in the parking lot and it does look like we do need new tires. I go in and whomever was there. Did not know anything about the recommendations for my wife's vehicle. " I was not in yesterday" in the tone of I don't care. Even though I was annoyed, I asked him about a particular set of tires and when they'll be in. During that interaction if I like he was not doing his job. Felt like I was being blown off. I get the information and I leave. My wife and I get home and she tells me the oil change light is still on. I look at the receipt (granted I should have done before I left. My bad) and they didn't do the oil change like I wanted. Now I'm not even sure my wife's vehicle needs brake work done. If they claim to inspect each vehicle, they would have known my wife needed an oil change. So I definitely feel like I was ripped off. I don't trust them and I will never go back. I'm going to get second opinion on the brakes (luckily I could visually see the tires are in need of changing)

If I could give negative stars if I would. Avoid this location at all costs. The employees are lazy, incompetent and dishonest. They tried to pull a bait and switch on me. The guy on the desk, Derrick, tried to make it seem like he was giving me more of a discount than the advertised online special. That was not close to being true. Then they came from the back to tell me that they don't have the tools to do an alignment on my Jeep, but they would give me $100 discount, after they have already taken my tires off. He suggested I could go somewhere else to get the alignment done after they replaced the tires. Why would I pay over $1200 to get work done at two different places (if I could even find somewhere to do the alignment on short notice). It took almost an hour, and 2-3 of them, to put my old tires back on so I could leave. Turns out my vehicle "shifted" while up on the lift and they wanted to make sure everything was done correctly. So, I'll be getting it checked out at a reputable business immediately. They also apparently had someone unqualified working on vehicles per a conversation between employees I overheard while waiting. What a waste of time. I will never make another appointment at this place. Ialso had to wait and inordinate amount of time to be refunded my $25 reservation deposit. This place is ridiculous! Do NOT go to this location!!!

Brian made me feel welcome and they were able to fix my flat in no time. The waiting area is not customer friendly at all. No coffee or water for paying customers. You sit on bar stools watching a 32 inch TV with no sound. I guess it's a deterrent for waiting customers

Really had bad customer service when picking up my car. They promised to call me to pick up my car but waited until I probed them, then they tried to shift the pickup to the following day. They failed to complete the job too. When I raised these issues to the front desk officer, he just seemed not to care at all and said he was not there when I left the car and hence he could do nothing. Maybe there should be more training on handovers and communication.

One of the best tire experiences I ve ever had. The staff was courteous, professional, proactive, accommodating and had a positive and upbeat attitude. They ve gained my long-term business. Great job NTB team!

Brain, the supervisor who assisted me was absolutely great and very professional during the entire process over the phone and in person. I came in for a specific tire and size that I made an appointment for online. I had made the appointment for a few days out. NTB alerted me that the tire wouldn t be in in time for said appointment and we rescheduled for an appointment that would best suit my tight schedule. On arrive, I showed them which tire it was and had specific requested to take lug nuts off and on by hand given they are aluminum lugs and would strip if impacted. They followed this request along with an few others, very pleased with that! Im a heavy machinery mechanic and am very particular about my cars, doin most work myself but when it comes to wheels and tires I can t. I m always hesitant letting others work on them but NTB did as told and I'm happy with the work and service. Communication and politeness is key for my business and Brains professionalism in doing so has secured my business for future tire needs. Thank you for listening to my concerns and having me in and out the door in reasonable time.

This is a shout out to Bryan, Service Manager, at NTB, Automobile Blvd, Silver Spring. I was directed to NTB by a mechanic across the road. Thank you for patiently diagnosing why my Civic's tire pressure light wouldn't turn off. It was a bit of work, but you discovered the issue and reset the light. It's been fine since. Thank you for going beyond the line of duty and exceeding my expectations. I'm a happy customer. And I did make it to my work on time. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

George and his team were amazing!! They changed my tire after they closed and we re ready to leave the shop. I asked George to please change my tire because I had a long drive and he said it would be risky to drive my car with that tire and that he wouldn t let me get on the road with the flat tire I had and told his team to help me out. They went and found the right tire for my car and changed it. I m very grateful for them and would definitely recommend them for anyone. Thanks again George

We had a flat tire. The manager, Bryan, was kind and professional; he solved the problem and checked the balance of the tire. Also, the fee is fair. If you have the same problem, here is a good choice.

I've come to NTB (now Mavis) a few times in the past and have had great service each time. Once was to have an oil leak fixed, another was to replace my timing belt which they honestly told me they didn't provide the service at that time and coordinated with the dealer next door for same day service and with a discount at the dealer, and this time to simply change a tire. They were extremely busy this last time but Avaro and the rest of the team was kind, helpful, and pleasant to interact with.

After getting an alignment and tires checked whoever was working in my car failed to remove all the dust he tracked on the door. Not cool at all.Technician handed me my key and didn t tell me the status of my tires. I had to wait for the advisor to come out and ask him.Actual car service wad still good so that is why 3 stars.

Not very efficient! The Only good thing about this place is their employee, Jorge. He took an angry customer s rant, gracefully.Took all day for an oil change. Stay clear! Had my first oil change here but my car was leaking oil afterwards. Returned for a second time and was told there was in issue with the filter, VW apparently did a recall a few weeks back . Do not get an oil change here unless you have nothing else to do.

I would definitely come back and I did. I took my truck for an oil change Monday. They saw me right away and didn t have me waiting all day. Kept it and told me what my car needed but didn t pressure me. He did such a good job i bro my mothers car on Friday. Juliann was very nice and professional.

I felt like I was given the VIP treatment through the over the lines of a telephone wire. My tire blew unexpectedly after sharp left over narrow curb in the pouring rain. Alvarado was knowledgeable, patient, reassuring and kind as he assured me my tire was available for my hard to find Mini-Cooper and put me in the queue so that I would receive service as soon as I arrived. I am one SATISFIED customer.

I was there for a tire rotation and the mechanic damaged all of the rims and all the lug nuts. I may have to pay hundreds just to repair for the damage they did.

I am beyond furious and extremely disappointed with the service I received from this tire repair shop a few years ago. When I first took my car in to have all four tires replaced, two of the tires were actually brand new that should've been the first red flag. To make matters worse, they kept the brand new tires for themselves!Not long after, one of the tires they replaced ended up going flat. The guy at the shop had the audacity to blame me for it, but when he checked the mileage on my car and realized I hadn't even driven it, he finally agreed to fix the issue. As if that wasn't enough, one of the sensors broke, and they flat-out refused to fix it. They told me I'd have to pay extra for that part, even though it was their shoddy work that caused the problem in the first place.Now, fast forward to today, when I took my car to another shop to get the rims fixed. The mechanic there informed me that the tire repair shop had stripped all the bolts on my tires, making it impossible to open them. Just imagine if I had been stuck on the side of the road with a flat tire and no way to change it that's a complete safety hazard! It's clear to me that these people are nothing but thieves who only care about taking your money and have zero concern for their customers' safety.I urge everyone to avoid this tire repair shop at all costs. Your safety and your wallet depend on it.

Service here was very good. Everyone was friendly and helpful. My friends car was in very bad shape and she was helped immediately. They provided a lot of information about the issue and explained the solution very clearly. Would definitely return to this establishment, but hopefully won t have to.

I had an urgent need for a battery replacement. Car quit unexpectedly yesterday and I was in a tough situation. Alvaro was manning the phones and was extremely courteous and very helpful. He accommodated my need by taking me in immediately and fixing me up in my ultimate setback. Great work and great price! Friendly crew and pleasant place. I'll be sure to schedule work there from now on.

Julien and Co. Were terrific!!. My tire blew on a road trip and they got me in n out efficiently. They were very friendly and Max in the back shop was the best. He replaced my tire and set the right tire pressures for the other 3 tires. I highly recommend this shop!!

I scheduled an appointment for a simple tire repair. When I showed up I was told they had tried to call me 7 times and were not expecting me. This was a lie since I had a text confirmation and no missed calls.They then told me they were unsure they could see me today. They could also provide no timetable for when my car would be seen. I specifically set up an appointment to minimize interference with work and did not have time to wait indefinitely. There was no effort to adhere to my scheduled appointment so I left to find somewhere else to get it fixed. Terrible service.

Thanks to Jorge for taking care of my car to make sure she was ready for an upcoming road trip. He also was great at staying cool during an uncomfortable situation with an unreasonable customer. He was polite and accommodating given the circumstances. I will make sure to ask for him when I need future service.
