Highly recommend Guillen's Automotive! I have taken my car in twice and am extremely pleased with the service, pricing and repairs. Juan is so nice and even showed me the issues and explained them to me in a way I could understand. He was open to my questions and is honest which is hard to find in a mechanic. He put in a new alternator, fixed my AC and even went out of his way to track down a part that is no longer made by Toyota because my car is so old. The pricing is extremely fair and way more affordable compared to the other auto shops I have taken my car into in the area. 10/10 recommend and will definitely be coming here for any future car needs. SECOND POST 9/2023: Let's just say they (Jose and Juan) will be my lifetime mechanics. They have worked on 2 of my vehicles. The are reasonable, they are super knowledgeable, and they are very easy to talk to. The listen to your car issues and do what needs to be done. Being a woman, I feel very very very comfortable in talking my car to them. Most car shops try to take advantage of woman, but these guys are fair and true to their word. Please do not hesitate- take your car to Gullieum!-------- ------------------------------------------Juan and Jose are the BEST!! I had my car towed because it wouldn't started. I was told by the tow driver that I needed a Pulley and serpentine belt. Wrong!! It was a hugh Rat in the engine. They cleaned it out and i was on the road again. They could have lied, but was so honest. I have two new mechanics now, Juan and Jose....THANK YOU!!Oh ... they are priced reasonably!

I had coolant leaking from a heater hose. They had the hose replaced promptly upon my arrival. They were great at explaining the issue. It didn t take very long for them to fix the issue. The price was reasonable. I was gratefully relieved that they were able to do it right away and I left very happy. Guillen's Automotive has made my car a priority both times that I have called and has gotten it in and fixed same day. They are super kind, professional, fair, and the only shop in the DMV that I trust to do what's best for my car and me (including my wallet). There's never an upsell, they never do extraneous work that doesn't make sense, and they make great recommendations for any problems and for general car care. On 2/24, I called to ask their availability because my whole car was shaking during acceleration. Juan told me to come in that day, we took it for a test drive, he examined it, and fixed it all within 30 minutes while I waited. The time before, the problem was a lot more complicated and involved inputting a new inverter coolant pump. This was also taken care of same day, and at a much lower price compared to other shops in the area.I have a Toyota Prius that is old and needs a lot of upkeep, and I can guarantee I will never go to a different mechanic.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Battery

Guillen's Automotive provides excellent, high-quality vehicle service. I have had my car repaired here at least 3 times, and each time the owner was professional, took time to explain each issue in detail, and charged reasonable prices for parts and labor. I was also able to pick up my car ahead of schedule, which was very convenient. They also know how to work on virtually every make or model vehicle. I continue to recommend this place to friends and family. Save yourself some of the money that you would spend going to the dealership for repairs, and try this place instead. Excellent service!! My Prius feels brand new. Juan and Jose know what they are doing and offer a great price. Juan showed me exactly what was wrong with my car, and their service is quick. I went to Guillen s on a friend s recommendation, to receive a second opinion on tire replacement. Juan and Jose were very professional and courteous. They were honest and efficient regarding a price quote. They ordered my tires which arrived the same day; the next morning they replaced all four in less than an hour. They took the time to answer my questions and I will be glad to utilize their auto repair service again.Service: Tires

Guillen's Automotive took over from the Bob's Toyota, a place my family has used for 2 decades. We decided to continue on with the new owners, and we are so glad we did. They are incredibly professional and kind. They have worked on all three cars in our household, and have done a great job, quickly and for a good price. I had the pleasure of being introduced to the best automotive shop I've ever been too. Guillen's Automotive has great service @ a reasonable price. Never have I been so surprised @ how a small place gave such a big impression. They diagnosed my problem with such speed and precision, it was astounding. No matter your problem I urge you to give Guillen's Automotive a try. After going to Bob's Toyota for years, when he retired I decided to try Guillen's Automotive, at his suggestion. We have had multiple services already, and every time Juan and Jose have finished quickly, having done a great job for a great price. I ve been to several automotive shops. But my experience with Guillen s by far the best experience I ve ever had dealing with a automotive shop. Juan is the mechanic I dealt with who is the owner which I must say did a good job breaking down to me what the problem was with my car and walking me through everything that needed to be done. I was given a good price up front and also done an all around check of the car at no cost. Service was prompt, quoted at a fair/reasonable price, and best of all everyone was friendly and kind. Unexpected car issues can make for a terrible day, but Guillen's Automotive made the process seamless. I will be returning for regular automotive maintenance and/or unexpected issues in the future. Juan is one of the best mechanics I met in my life. He does everything from exhaust pipe modification and welding, to suspension and blancing parts repair and replacement, to power steering wheel pressure repair. He is one of those rare mechanics who takes no as an answer and finds solutions to your problems. He gave life to my 1997 Jeep TJ that I recently bought and made her road safe and stable. He did most of the 13 repair lists recommended by vehicle inspector in another center. I am confident driving and enjoying my Jeep knowing the professional work and effort put on her by this garage and Juan. Price was modest consideraing the work and service. I brought my car here to get some electrical work done and they are very professional and quick, I referred a friend to get there work done here as well. They did a over all check of my car, told me what I needed and got the job done and completed, I also had brake work done. Great honest work done here, one of the best experiences I ve had with a shop, made sure I left with a better efficient exhaust compared yo my old one, regardless of me bringing the wrong part they made sure to make it work safely with an affordable price! I took my car in because of a sound I hear when I turn left. Juan said it was the ball joint snd tire rode. $563 cash was paid and I drove off the lot hearing the same sound. I took the car back and told him what doctor google said. Showed him YouTube videos that car has the same sound and it was the cv axle. Ball joint sound like grinding. I left the car again for him to look at and he called me with another $300+ bill. He fixed something that wasn t broken. Now want to charge me more .
