If you have a Volkswagen or Audi, stop reading reviews!! You have found the shop you are looking for. Dub and Ring is so awesome that when I bought a VW, my family mechanic for 25 years sent me to see Lo, and I am so thankful he did. I had a bad valve cover seal (dang Germans couldn't just use a rubber gasket like everyone else) and was leaking oil all over the place, losing power, and had a rough idle. The car is creeping up on 100k miles, so they inevitably found more issues while inside. Lo kept me informed w calls/texts/photos every step of the way, and helped me figure out what needed to be fixed now, and what could wait. All at a reasonable price, especially when comparing to the dealership. Got the car back today and it's driving like a dream, smooth idle, full power, no leaks. I had forgotten how good this car could feel w my mods and tune, and literally drove home from the shop w a big cheesing smile on my face the whole way! Thank you so much guys, I appreciate all you do and I'll be back soon!

I highly recommend Dub and Ring for any car service needs. Their professionalism and attention to detail are truly exceptional. I trust them exclusively with my Audi and won t go to any other shop. Lo, their highly skilled mechanic, can proficiently work on any make or model, not just Audis and VWs. He updates you along the way and will happily provide progress videos or answers to any questions you may have. I went in to have a honeycomb grille and honeycomb fog light covers installed on my SQ5. Lo went out of his way to squeeze me in for an oil change and coolant flush. I absolutely love how my SQ5 looks now and will continue to use Dub and Ring for all my automotive needs.Dub and Ring is the epitome of reliable and expert automotive care. Incredible all around experience. If you re looking for a specialist/mechanic that is easy to talk to and won t jerk you around, this is the guy/shop for you. Lo kept in contact with me throughout the day as he completed the service and was always clear and concise with information that was given. The pricing was fair and honest.Overall, I m happy with the work he s doesn t and how he conducts business and I m lookingforward to working with him in the future.Work completed: modification to suspension and spacers.

For my first time going to a local and single person owned shop Lo is the best mechanic I ve seen. He is very up front, kind, knowledgeable, and very communicative towards customers. Lo worked on my mk7.5 gti and installed lowering springs and found out I had a leaking oil pan that I had no clue about. I was so glad he kept me up to date on the car by sending videos and pictures going into extreme detail about the car and what we can do to fix certain things. He really goes the extra mile when making sure his customers are getting what they expect and making sure they are tuned up perfectly. I will definitely be recommending people to go to Lo and I will continue to go up to his shop for any maintenance work or any other things that need to be done. Switched to Dub & Rings not long ago and got my rotors and pads changed on my GTI Mk8. The owner of the shop was such a down to earth person and very flexible with time. Really appreciated his care, considerations and advice he has given. Great prices, high quality work and highly knowledgeable with vehicles.Coming back soon.

I have been using Lo for few years now. He s a great honest and professional mechanic! He s rates are unmatched and he s super efficient. He s worked on both off my vehicles 2019 VW Atlas and my 2014 Honda Accord as well as my kids 2 dirt bikes. He has gone above and beyond as far as taking care of my fleet! I will continue to use Dub and Ring as my goto as long as he s in business! Shout out to Lo for chasing his dreams and becoming the #1 VW and Audi specialist in the DMV!

Lo is a magician with how quick he installed and tested my new suspension parts on my Vw Gti! Truly amazing! Lo was a huge help with diagnosing where the dreaded suspension clunk sounds were located. Him being super detail oriented truly makes him a great mechanic and I highly recommend you take your VW/Audi to him whether it be tuning or maintenance. Five 's amigo!

This man is a miracle worker! I ve recently moved down into the area a while back and for about 2 years now and had a hard time searching for a reasonable/reliable mechanic. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable, he s very professional and walks you through the process of his work and keeps you updated and won t break your pockets like some ppl would. I know you see mostly European cars on his page but he works on EVERYTHING. So don t be afraid to stop in and ask some questions if you re around the way, super friendly and can explain/answer you may ask. If you re looking for dealership quality work but at a local shop you ve come to the right place! I recently had my 2019 Audi Q7's brakes and rotors replaced by Lo. I was impressed with the service quality the job was done meticulously. Timeliness was a plus, and Lo kept me informed throughout. I have a TDI Golf and it's not easy finding a good independent tech. Luckily I found Dub and Ring and they have been amazing!! I first had my clutch and flywheel done and was so impressed with their service that I came back and did my timing and water pump. I've had 5 VWs, 2 of which were TDIs and I have never had a car run better than after having Dub and Ring service my car.

Lo is a consummate professional. Simply can t put a price on an honest mechanic. Came in to replace all four rotors and brake pads on my Atlas, based off the recommendation of a different mechanic. Lo told me the truth that nothing was actually wrong with the vehicle and ended up saving me a ton of money on an unnecessary replacement. I ll be going back for any and everything for both of my VW s.

Great experience with the suspension bushing repairs on my 2016 Porsche Macan. Lo was very honest and transparent about repairs. I drove about 45 min to have him do repairs on my Macan since local shops were expensive or hesitant to work on a Porsche. I'm looking forward to continuing to having Lo continue to do some future repairs and maintenance.

Lo treats all his customer cars like his own, and now that he has his own shop, I won't take my VWs anywhere else for work. I've owned several over the years (Mk4 Golf GLS, Mk5 GTI, Mk7 Golf R) and Lo has had his hands on all of them, first as a tech for the local VW dealership and following him thru his time at Audi dealers too. He's done everything from oil changes, to brakes, tires, carbon cleanings, suspension upgrades, DSG service, Haldex service, clutch installs, tune ups, and more. I can't say enough great things about my experience at Dub & Ring. I've been into my cars my entire life, but this is my first European car. Let me tell you... terrified to touch anything on it! That's where Lo comes in. He is an honest and honorable mechanic who strives to make his business a safe space for everyone to ask questions and learn without fear of judgment. Lo is super knowledgeable about the MQB platform. He also truly treated me like family and my car as his own. I brought my wheels and tires to get them mounted and balanced. He was super excited to get it done and was very quick to do it as well. I highly recommend this shop!

Got my car looked at last minute by Lo and he did and I can t stop believing how honestly priced he is. I will definitely going back to see him for my car when it needs it again! If you want an honest mechanic come here! We got our oil change, both air filters and tire rotation for less than what it would cost at a dealership.

There's a clear reason why everyone else has rated Lo with 5 stars.As of now, he's approximately 4 weeks into his new shop and is a one man army. I have to say, his attention to detail, fair pricing, and next level customer service really makes him stand out. I had another shop bail on me last minute to install a catback exhaust on my MK7 GTI and Lo rearranged his schedule to accommodate my needs with a few hours notice!During the installation, he even sent me a video addressing a side question about my tires and conducted a general inspection, uncovering an additional engine issue I was unaware of. I was beyond impressed with his professionalism and the level of engagement. Such personal interaction with a car shop was a first for me- I know this is a lot of praise, but it is well deserved. Nothing but good things are to come for this man!

I'm really glad I found Lo, because he's been extremely helpful with keeping maintenance on my car (2019 VW Tiguan). He is honest and transparent, which is difficult for me to find in a mechanic. He teaches me how to deal with the dealership since my car is under warranty for certain fixes, and what fixes are necessary along with looking ahead which allows me to plan and budget rather than feeling pressured to put up an expensive unexpected cost. Stress is the feeling I usually get leaving the dealership or other mechanics when getting my car checked out, but it's a relief to not feel that way for once. Lo is resourceful, solutions-oriented, gives me peace of mind and I have been referring him to friends and family as well. Highly recommend.

if you re planning on doing any upgrade to your vw/audi dubs and ring is the way you need to go, he did my turbo upgrade on my mk7r, he make me feel part of the process sending me videos of each part taken off the car, he s great !
