I had a MD state inspection scheduled on 2/28 at 11 AM. They confirmed it the day before. I drove 40 mins to get to this place and was told upon arrival, "Oh we're not doing inspections today because it's raining". They didn't have the decency to call me to tell me not to come! Luckily, I found a place nearby that was great and accommodated me right away. Do not bother with this place!

Visited this shop today for what I thought was a slow leak in one tire. They fit me in day of and contacted me an hour later to tell me that my problem was a bad valve/sensor on the tire and this wasn t something they could fix. They referred me to a tire shop or the dealer. They didn t charge me for the time they took to diagnose the problem. I ll be back due to their honesty, efficiency, and choice not to charge me for their diagnosis. That diagnosis saved me a lot of time when I took the car to a tire place later in the day.

Great mechanic shop, would definitely be in the top 3 in the area. Make sure you ask for Nelson, he went the extra mile with my car and was knowledgeable with my 2019 Infiniti. He recommended future repairs so that I could prepare myself when it came time to have complete the repairs. Will be back to have the rest of my work completed.

Absolutely lovely, kind, and helpful people! I stopped in after a sudden Check Tire light came on my dashboard in the rain. Walked in, and David C. assured me that -- despite their busy schedule that day (and not helped by the rain outside) -- they'd get to me in 10-15 mins. In under 10, the guys had got my car in, checked the tires -- low pressure in all four but no actual puncture -- and then added air to all of them before sending me on my way! Genuinely made me wish I lived a little closer, because I would make them my regular mechanics. 10/10 would recommend if you're anywhere nearby and in need of assistance.Services: Tires, Vehicle Inspection

I continue to be so impressed with Beltway Car Care after years of going to them. It would be very easy to over-charge me - as I'm generally pretty ignorant about auto-issues. But they have never over-charged me (I always double check) and always find the safest, least expensive solution. This week, they topped off my fluids and wouldn't charge me (NBT tried to charge my friend $100 to do so). They are polite, efficient, and professional. Growing up in WV finding a trustworthy and reliable mechanic was simple enough. Trying to find one in a busy metropolis of the DC area such as Silver Spring is akin to finding a winning lottery ticket laying on the street and then battling birds to get it. I've taken to-date 3 cars here over the last 8 years as well as recommended this place to friends who all have positive reviews. This place is a pure gem. The people are friendly and helpful with great attitudes and superior knowledge. They don't hustle for a dollar and it's why I keep coming back. They know what they're doing, it's always timely and they'll let you know what their day looks like if you just call ahead and ask. You can't ask for better people to work on your vehicles. Thumbs up!

For years my vehicles were serviced and repaired by my beloved uncle. After moving here, you can imagine the burden to find a trusted mechanic. I came here under the recommendation of a friend and for the past 5 years have received excellent and consistent service that remarkably competes with the work and counsel I received from my uncle. This shop has proven to me that they care about doing the right thing. For example, our well-loved car had a few repairs that our mechanic said he'd do but didn't think it was worth it to us to have them done. He took the time to explain his reasoning to help us make a decision. We also had an AC issue that the mechanic said he'd fix but recommended we look into our warranty in hopes of saving a lot of money. This shop has integrity. During the last 5 years, I've done business with the same employees; that means something too.

Great place with very nice and helpful people. I brought a car there for a pre purchase inspection ( for only $47!) And they told me tons of stuff that the dealer never mentioned. They were also great in telling me that I was paying to much and what a reasonable price would be. David and Mario are the guys who helped me, they were great.I would highly recommend this place.

Last week I saw its 4.9 out of 5.0 review online, so I went in for the Maryland State Safety inspection. My experience was very good. Great service and superb work ethics. Highly recommended!

I got there by 4:20 pm for car inspection and oil change. The closing time is 5:00 pm. Everybody seated without any work. And do not want to help. I just wasted time. They replay in unprfessional way. Not good.

Review 2/13/2015. This repair shop is totally honest and actually saved me about $2000 in repair work. They informed me about a recall extension I could get for my fuel pump (which is mega bucks) and let me know I did not need new struts (which is another costly repair).I got my inspection there and I called around to see if anyone could match the price and no one came even close. One shop even said if I had found a price that good I should go there, lol.They will take you into the repair place to show you what needs to be done and why. I can't recommend this place enough.

I took my Mitsubishi here because the tailpipe was dragging on the road.The entire tailpipe and muffler needed replacing. The mechanic explained everything to me and showed me the entire underside of my car so I could view the damaged parts. I did not have a reservation but they managed to fit me in, despite the fact that they had many cars ahead of me. I am grateful.

I think I may have found a new mechanic! :) I needed an inspection certificate for my new car so I can be a Lyft driver. They usually take appointments but they inspected my vehicle away at 9 a.m. Thoroughly professional!
