Alex is Great guy. 23 year experience always offers competitive price. Even if his shop 50mins away from me. I always travel to him if I have any problems with my car s transmission.

I came here for a transmission diagnosis, and the mechanic identified the likely cause of the problem within a few minutes and gave me his honest opinion that it was probably not worth an expensive transmission rebuild to fix, because the issue wasn't serious or dangerous. I appreciated that honesty and I would definitely come here again if I had another transmission issue in the future.

I have been taking my car here for years and each and every time they do excellent work. I highly recommend this place for all of your mechanic and especially transmission needs. The owner Alex is a very trustworthy individual that strives to have excellent work done for every single client. It's very hard to find somebody like that these days and also an affordable place compared to other places that want to take your money and do a poor job. I'm very glad I have found this place and will continue to give them my business and recommend everyone to check them out. You will be glad you did!

Got a new CVT transmission here about a month ago. Works great. At first it wasn't set up 100% correctly but they happily fixed the minor issue. Came with a 2 year warranty (possibly from manufacturer but either way that's nice). Remembered my name when I visited for the required checkup two weeks later and that's surprisingly good trait these days.

I called ahead because I wanted to come in before hours before my work started. They helped me so quickly and were so friendly.I wasn t sure if something was wrong with my transmission but asked if they could check it out. They tested it out and drove it a bit.Nothing was wrong with my transmission. They were honest, friendly, and COVID-19 safe. If I ever have a transmission issue, this is a trustworthy and well recommended shop. My tire shop recommended it to me.

Very friendly, extremely professional and reasonably priced. I have all my cars serviced with them and they never failed me and never tried to add or recommend repairs that were/are not needed. They seem to be quick at diagnosing problems and quick to repair them too. I highly recommend them

Was referred buy a co-worker who recently had service there after having done his own research. My 2006 vehicle engine cracked. I was overwhelmed btc my insurance did not cover the repair, so I wasn't sure at all whether to buy another new used car, or to research buying a used engine. After doing some diligence and asking the questions I knew to ask, AmStar/Elmer the manager I believe), not only provided me with the lowest quotes and a same-year used engine with 25,000 miles less than what I have been offered from other vendors, he additionally Elmer, was even awesome enough to offer me an additional warranty send text to standard 3-month one up to one year for a minimal additional cost. Of course I don't have a lot of experience in engine cracking categories, but I didn't even know that was something that was an option. I'm grateful to the work that they did, because I feel completely safe on the roads again. Oh, I almost forgot to add that the service was completed 2 WHOLE days sooner than what was anticipated. Happy customer!

This is the transmission place to go to when you don't think it's feasible to do your transmission. They were half the price I expected and guarantee for 2 years. After 8 months I had an issue and they took care of it, no charge, they stand by their guarantee and are honest people. They definitely know their transmissions. --- a picky mechanic's sister

I would give them 0 stars if I could. I took my car there and ended up getting a trans rebuild. Get my car back couple days go by and they whole steering rack shifted due to some bolts that were not replaced. It was a big safety concern to because the car kept going straight when the wheel was being turned. Ended up costing me another $800 to get that fixed on top of the rebuild cost. Owner would not talk to me and denied everything.

Went a year ago for a rebuilt, they did the work and had my transmission done fast. But noticed at the very beginning that my 1st gear to 2nd was too jumpy. I thought since it was new it would get better but not at all. The warranty sounds good but the miles it covers is setup for you to buy again when it voids. Wonder if they even change the whole gears or leave the old ones and use just one. Or if the parts are even good quality. You invert money on something that should last for a long time and pay a high price as well just to have issues again a year later. I didnt see professional diagnostic done when i brought it back a year later to them to see if it was a transmission problem again, which was, they just didnt want to look at it again and just gave me probablr cause by look only. Yes they are friendly and do the transmission work, but not trustworthy for quality. Waste of time and money. I would prefer AAmco transmission , i went with them because of a friendly recomendation. But never again.
