I don t know what the owner KEVIN PATTERSON s problem is with his approach to people or maybe he has a hard life and feels like people owe him respect but as the owner of a business, he should know how to speak to people. I walked in today and wanted to get my truck inspected, the receptionist was explaining to me that they don t hold spot once you leave the premises and she did a good job at explaining it great in fact, when I asked if paying for it can by pass that (she told me no). Kevin decides to give me the whole thing again (he was on the phone with another customer and looked annoyed). When I told him I understood that and looked him in the eyes (he must have felt his manhood threatened or maybe there s problems at home.?). I had already decided on going somewhere else but this man decided to get up from his car walk over to the door and tell me to have a good day. How do you kick someone out the was leaving.?? When I called to ask for his name, the business man decided to hang up on me. So if he doesn t take his business serious? Why is he in a business for people that are serious about there car.? There s plenty of other spot that do this in Salisbury I would advise to chose anyone but this one. He s got repeat customers not the good kind of repeat customers.

Dropped my car off on Tuesday to be inspected on Wednesday. I was told that it wouldn't be done until late. I was ok with that since I was off work. Tuesday came and went with no word. I called on Wednesday to be rudely told that there is no guaranteed time for a vehicle to be finished. I told him that he told me it would be done late Wednesday his response was once again... No guarantees. I told him I had to get to work and he again stated no guarantees and hung up. He makes you pay up front and then doesn't do the job he promised. Three days is unacceptable for a simple inspection. Don't take the job if you can't do the work. Done or not I will pick my vehicle up tomorrow afternoon and get a full refund. Time for a call to the BBB.

More problems were created Than fixed. I was told one thing over the phone. Charged double when I got there. Clearly seen my cash go in wallet. No recite. Just an invoice with a stamp stating "paid" If you're gonna scam at leat look out for the customer. Don't mess up my vehicle multiple time hoping I'll keep spending money.

Got an attitude at trying to drop off a car for inspection. Then he cussed my senior citizen mother. Wouldn't take a lawnmower there. Edit added cause his inspection missed the whining wheel bearing that I got replaced a week later

I went here to get my car inspected so I can finally get my Maryland stickers. The man that works there is super friendly and explained everything about the inspection before he even did it and then he called me after it was finished so I could go and pick my car back up

Had to come here to get my Intoxalock removed. He messes up my brake lights and claims they were messed up before I came. He finally fixed it. Now some buttons on my steering wheel no longer work. Guess what?!? He says he has nothing to do with it. I m angry that Intoxalock made me come here. It is ghetto.

Kim is awesome, he may sound rough but straight and clear. I went for MD inspection and got it done same day. If you are ever in Salisbury Maryland and you need a great mechanic with professional service take your vehicle to protect auto. My family and I were in Maryland for a baseball tournament and I started having trouble with my brakes on our van. I called protect auto on Saturday and he open up and took care of our problem on Sunday yes Sunday because we were traveling. Now this is going the extra miles. This guy is awesome we are back home in NY safely thanks to Protect Auto. Thanks a lot Kim I appreciate your service and professionalism. The Nealey Family

Before I came here I had previously taken my truck too a repair shop to get my truck fixed and was told that additionaly my a/c compressor was red hot and that too needed to be fixed but they couldn't do it till the next couple of days so I went to get it fixed at this shop and found out that the other shop had unplugged the a/c pressure sensor to make me do more business and that there was nothing wrong with my a/c compressor so they were very honest with me unlike the other repair shop. Highly recommend this shop for their honesty

The owner clearly explained any and all issues with my vehicle. Polite and friendly spot, I also didn't have an appointment when I went in and he took care of me right away. Car running great now.

****DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT GO TO PROTECH AUTO REPAIR!!!****He's a crook, scammer and does bad business. I had to call the police and make a complaint just for him to reinspect my car. He tried to charge me $20 to reinspect (no sign and it's not on my paper work). Then he tried to charge me $45 to put it on the lift bc I wouldn't show him my receipt from the people who fixed my car. When I ask for my money back, he told me to get out and acted like he was pulling out a gun

They weren't very nice on the phone kinda had an attitude because I knew what I was talking about I guess they don't like mechanics telling them the truth about there inventory.
