Let me tell you, Mr. Messick, David I believe, was the most caring and professional auto sales dealership owner I've ever come across (and I've bought plenty of cars and trucks in my day from dealerships all over in many states)! I was not asked to write this, but I felt compelled to do so and acknowledge this business and business owner.More recently, my daughter was in town from Massachusetts and when she stopped in Salisbury to get gas at Wawa beside this dealership she locked her keys in the car!She was panicking and stressed out and I was at home in Virginia at work, about an hour away. I called Messicks and explained the situation and he said not to worry. He assured me he would help out if he could.He asked what kind of car she was driving and what color and he walked over to her and tried to help her get her car opened up. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to accomplish what he went for...but he had the at least tried! I bet no other dealership would do that, the owner no less!That man stopped what he was doing to help her out and she wasn't over to his dealership looking at one of his vehicles on his lot! What he did is a prime example of why we all should consider buying local and helping out our hometown heros that help us!Thank you for being a great person with a good heart in our time of need. This is what customer service, community service and good business is all about!Thank you Mr. Messick!

I needed a MD inspection asap. Messicks was able to get me on the books the same week I called. Their knowledge base, and willingness to help is outstanding.Their simply the best...better than all the..rest. Thank you so much!!

We received outstanding customer service when having our vehicles inspected today. Had the privilege of meeting Mr. Dave Messick, Sr. and his son Dave Jr. Very kind businessmen. The inspector Walt was very pleasant, too. We recommend Messick's for inspections!!

Only place in Salisbury that does Maryland State inspection and doesn't do repairs. You can trust that they are not trying to make money. Friendly staff, prompt service.

Messick's Auto provided me a state inspection for a boat trailer. Dave and his team were fantastic to work with and were able to scedule me despite their busy schedule. The shop was professional and clean. Their inspection was through and staff was knowledgable.

Be aware of this place and if they are buying your car! Guy made me drive 1h to meet him after seeing pics and FaceTime to check the truck. After a quick inspection he came up with excuses and wouldn t buy it anymore. Completely waste of time and money. I can only imagine how they run their business. If he is at good as he claims he should disclose that he was a dealer and what he was looking for. Can t expect a new car 8 years old

Looking for a clean truck that didnt come from an auction? Dave buys local, well taken care of vehicles, and sells them at reasonable prices. He is honest, reputable and a pleasure to do business with. I would definitely buy from him again!

Reliable place to have your vehicles MD State inspected. It's not a repair shop, so you won't be sited for minor repairs that are not required & you don't have to worry about getting duped out of money. Great family business, staff is friendly & I would definitely purchase cars from them.

Super friendly, Honest and professional. If you had a bad experience with Maryland State inspections at another shop take your vehicle here. They do not do repairs so they do not trump up the report to charge you for them. If there is something wrong they will point you in the right direction.

Very clean property, SUPER friendly & helpful staff they explain and answered all my questions. Even questions I should have ask dealer. They got my inspection done in a timely manner. Priced well. I will definitely use them again and tell all my friends.

Had my Grandfathers car inspection here. These guys are very decent people and inspection could not of gone any smoother anywhere else in this area. Super friendly and such a clean shop!!!

I ve been dealing with Dave Messick for years. He inventories the sharpest and cleanest trucks on the Eastern Shore. If you re in the market for a used truck or SUV stop by and check him out. You ll be glad that you did. Oh, by-the-way they also do Maryland State Vehicle Inspections.

I go here to get my vehicles inspected. That being said go to get yours inspected! They don't do repairs so their good honest people and have treated me very well through the years. Plus they've got the cleanest trucks and suv's on their lot in Salisbury!

The worst experience place as a state inspection licensed place. The shop is only busy writing up your car's any things to make you more difficult to get things be done. The mechanic os out of shape, without wearing proper work attire, tightening tire bolts up without using torque wrench but by power air gun directly. Totally disgusting.STAY AWAY FROM THE JERK SHOP

They inspected my vehicle. Very nice people. As far as buying a car I have not. But they were wonderful with my car inspection.

Very poor service my cousin and I took his truck to get inspected Tuesday may 4th 2021 and their inspector took the truck for a drive that s only supposed to be 2 miles long so maybe 5-10 minutes a hour later a employee tells us my cousins truck is broke down on the side of the road and won t start their mechanic said it s the starter so we had a employee drive us to the truck and when we got their we tried starting it and we tried turning the crack and it would not turn at all their inspector blew the motor and they just left us on the side of the road we had to tow it home ourselves they did nothing to fix this I would not recommend them for any services they are a poor business with low quality service again I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS SHOP
