Clyde's has always been very personable and their work is superb. We came from Delaware Tire & Battery they went under new ownership and we decided to go elsewhere. Clyde's has been so fair, made suggestions , worked with us, and by far the prices are great. His staff treats us the exact same. Clyde's puts his competitors to shame. We are very happy with him and his service. PLEASE CHECK HIM OUT AND GIVE HIS STAFF A TRY. YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED. .

I am nothing but marvelous things to say about Clyde's. He has been the mechanic for myself and my best friend for too many years to count and has been just amazing. He left another business that was cheating customers to start one that would absolutely not. Feel very confident going here.

I've been using Clyde's for almost all of my automotive needs for years now. I have like 15+ cars, and they do a great job with all of them. From classics to modern cars and trucks, routine maintenance or full engine replacements, they do a great job. And if they can't do it - they'll tell you up front and recommend a place to go.

Friday afternoon after work, i realized my brake lights wouldn't turn off. A friend recommended Clyde's, I had never used them before. Since it was Friday at almost 4 & I am a widow, I just drove there to see if they could help, & did they! A young man, Allen came out and immediately got to work, called Ford, they didn't recognize the part! That didn't stop him! So he used some impressive MacGyvering (sp?) skills, used parts from their shop and worked on it till he fixed it! So impressed! I am a fan and I will be back when i have future needs for my Edge, but I'll call for an appointment. Highly recommend! fantastic customer service and skills. This place was ok. To be honest with you! My supervisor went in just to show them her ID from Lower Shores Enterprises. It s something she needs to take care of though and then she walked back in the vane. *We only waited in the vane.*

I got a cheaper quote from another shop, but I decided to go with Clyde's. The other shop wanted to keep the car at least two days, at least, and at Clyde's I dropped off my truck, no appointment or call, and I was called at 4 that afternoon saying it was done. Now I'm sure that's not the case with everyone, but it was for me. It was well worth a few extra dollars for that kind of service. I'm done getting quotes from other places, my truck goes to Clyde's.

I was fortunate that in 2004 when i brought my Ram in to Delaware tire for a rear end they reccomend Clyde's. Since that first experience I've been a loyal supporter of Clyde's. He takes care of the customers and the shop is clean and the service is great. I've brought my family and friends vehicles to Clyde's and they're all extremely satisfied. Keep up the good work.

My son at Salisbury University arrived after a long drive and arrived in town with a car that needed help. I looked up local repair shops on the web and decided on Clyde's. They were top notch, quickly fixed up my son's car at a fair price. That meant a lot to me trying to arrange this from New England. From my experience I would trust Clyde's to do the right thing for it's customers and from now on, that will be the place my son takes his car when it needs repairs.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Clyde s is the most reasonable and honest place in Salisbury. We ve had four cars worked on over the last ten years (for various problems) and they always do an excellent job in a timely manner. I ve used Clyde s for about 4 years now. I originally found them because a lot of places in town weren t able to lift a dually truck and I was also frustrated with issues not actually getting fixed at other places. My second experience with them was when I was towed there when my fuel pump failed. They called back the next day and said my fuel pump had come unplugged and I was good to go. (The fuel pump had been installed elsewhere.) He could have charged me for a new one and I never would have known, but was honest. There always seems to be about a 2-3 day wait, but I ve never had to bring anything back with a recurring issue. They re fair, honest, clean, and friendly. Arrived at a campground about 30 minutes away to find that my rear differential cover was leaking, and they found the time to fit me in and the truck was ready the next morning. The key drop box came in handy since they were getting ready to close when I called. And the cost was pretty much what I was quoted over the phone without seeing the truck they saved me from a major headache.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Came in to have ignition system repaired. Sent me on a wild goose chase telling me there were 3 recalls on the used vehicle I purchased. Told to get recalls done first. Called Jeep and there aren t any recalls. Called back Clyde s and was told looks like an engine replacement ALL before even looking at the actual vehicle. Unprofessional advice to say the least. I have an obd 2 scanner too and know I have and intermittent problem within the ignition system. Came for diagnostics and repair not to be scammed. Very sketchy. Run away from this shop.

Clyde's Car repair is small but good. He and his mechanics are ASE certified. They make honest assessments, quality repairs and competitive prices. They are busy so make an appointment.

They did a most excellent job on our company van. They diagnosed the problem and ordered the parts. The only thing is that UPS lost the new part in shipping for a couple of weeks. Once UPS found the lost part, Clyde's had it back together very quickly and we were back on the road again.

Clyde has been a great help to my daughter who is attending Salisberry University. This is our second car repair with Clyde and his work has been reasonably priced. When my daughter's car overheated, he met her at the parking lot where she was stranded and followed her back to his shop. This was such a relief to me being over 3 hours away.

We were on vacation when our window wouldn t go up. We stopped to see if he could help, he helped us get the window up and keep it up so we wouldn t have to worry about the window all week. He was a super kind gentleman. We tried to pay him for helping us to get it back up, but he said, use it on the kids for your vacation. So nice of him!

Won't install customer parts (because they can't mark them up) and wanted $400.00 for a simple thermostat change. I'll break my own tools out first. Robbery.
