From the first minute I arrive I felt welcomed and appreciated. I was greeted immediately and turned over to Faith. Faith was friendly, courteous and professional. She worked with me and gave me my trade value. I went home picked out the car I wanted, ordered it. Went back and Tim did a great job of delivered it. The manager on duty was Sophia and was wonderful to!

Amazing. Staff super helpful. Provided service above and beyond. From the lovely young lady who greeted us upon arrival to Kristen, Devon and Chad, staff could not have been helpful or supportive. Received an on-line offer. The same offer was presented at the time of sale. Smooth and seamless experience from start to finish.

Amy, Tim, and Crystal were great! My daughter is in the process of replacing her old car, and this team has been fantastic! Patient, well-informed, and were willing to work through an obstacle (two cars we were interested in, on-site, were apparently "unavailable"; they are expediting bringing in two others for us to see). Looking forward to how this turns out!

You get what you see in the website. So far, I am happy with the car. The good point is that they don't try to sell you anything else like a regular dealership. Marc Harrington, the agent that did the sales, gave me a regular dealer plate, and he did not mentioned I needed to go back to get a temporary plate. There was an issue with one of the car key, and every time I complained, his answer was "Do you want to continue with the purchase?". It ended being something simple like the battery was installed in the wrong way, I fixing it myself. That made me wonder about all the checks they do.

I didn t buy a car from CarMax, but I did sell my car to CarMax and I highly recommend it. When I looked around online and saw my car s retail value of $13k vs the trade-in value of $6.8k, I went on the hunt to see where I could get the most money for it. I was shocked when I entered everything in on CarMax s website and had an offer for $10k. The next closest offer I d received was $7k. I took the car in to confirm the appraisal, and Dakota was a great help in explaining how the process with CarMax works and what I d need to sell them the car. It was stupid easy. Went back in less than a week later and worked with Mark to finalize everything and left with a check to put towards my new car. Extremely satisfied with the entire process and the staff at CarMax.

I ll start by saying that Amy was so kind - she is a gem. In total..I d avoid this location. The lack of transparency is frustrating. 1st visit: the vehicle we had transferred in was damaged during transport. 2nd visit: the vehicle we had transferred in was horrendously stenched of cigarette smoke (as if someone had chain smoked a pack with the windows up). 3rd visit: we explained our frustration (we live 45 mins away, so it is not a convenient drive) and we were told the suv had such minor scratches that they wouldn t even show on pictures wrong, the vehicle had so many scratches that were extensive. All 3 of these separate visits..none of the info was provided to us prior..even though we asked for info ahead of time. We were assured that No, it looks good! Unfortunately, this location is dishonest, and when buying a car (especially a preowned) you need transparency. Pass this place up. Good luck on your search!

RUN, RUN FAST, RUN FAR. NOTHING BUT LIARS AND CROOKS HERE.My daughter's "reserved" car, the one that she paid to have shipped here,Arrived on Friday, she was told that they needed 24 hours to 'inspect' an already inspected car. She called back on Saturday and was told the car was not yet ready. On Sunday the car was still on the website, but instead of being listed as reserved it was now "SOLD" yet she WAS NOT in possession of the car. She called and was told the car was still in line for inspection and she would be notified as soon as it was ready. My lie detector has determined everything she has been told by this dealership located in Salisbury is a lie. Never, ever will I deal with such liars and crooks.

I bought a used car and took it in within the warranty period and they had to replace the transmission. Took it back because the window wouldn t roll down. They had to order the part, and when it came in and I scheduled an appointment, the car was THEN out of warranty. The day of my service appointment, it was at 1:30pm, I dropped my car off in the morning, because I had to work. I went in at 5pm and was told the service team went home. They ordered the wrong part. It was in a different location, the part wouldn t be in for at least two days. I had them call and see if I can pick up my car until the part comes in. The place said it was all taken apart, and I couldn t get it. And because my appointment was outside the warranty, they wouldn t provide a rental. DO NOT PURCHASE A CAR HERE.

Everyone was excellent. I was greeted right away by the manager, turned over to Deven, and finalized a sale with Kristen. The whole process was about 40min. I had an offer in hand when I came in, with the online process, which is very easy.

After buying many cars through traditional dealerships over the years, I have been blown away by CarMax Salisbury. Nice streamlined process from reserving cars online, 24 hour test drive and a what you see is what you get approach to the buying experience. It was refreshing not be pressured into any dealer add on traps. We had a mechanical issue with our vehicle on the test drive but still wanted to purchase. How the manager on duty handled this is why we decided to purchase...getting the car into service immediately and taking care of us like we have been customers for years. So far so good with CarMax, I recommend to anyone in the market for a pre owned vehicle.

As far as I know they are the only car dealership that offers a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. Buyers beware, if you exercise the 30-day satisfaction guarantee offer, and return the vehicle while getting your MD tags from CarMax, they will cancel your new new tags and registration not telling you about this major detail. CarMax gave me their new tags back, me thinking I could transfer them to my next vehicle, NOT! I had to deal with the MVA to get everything rectified. Not a pleasant experience at this particular point in time after the fact. �\(�_o)/�

Simple from start to finish. Never dealing with another dealership again. Freedom of allowing u to get the financing on ur own and paperwork ready and waiting in and out in less than and hour. Staff were all friendly, knowledgeable, and excited for us!!!

Warning: Stay away from CarMax based on my personal shopping experience. It has been an absolute nightmare trying to find a reliable vehicle. I started the car buying process on May 8, 2023, and here we are on July 9, 2023, and I'm still stuck driving a loaner vehicle from CarMax. Can you believe it? The number of times they had to run my credit during this process is absolutely insane. It feels like they've checked my credit more times than I can count!To make matters worse, I've had to pay for two car insurance payments without even having a vehicle to insure. And now, I'm about to make my first car payment, but I still haven't had the chance to drive my own car. It's beyond frustrating, and I can't just switch to another dealership because CarMax has already run my credit a whopping 21 times. Can you imagine?All I'm hoping for now is that once I finally get my hands on the vehicle, it actually works properly. I've made sure to get the extended warranty from CarMax just in case. Fingers crossed that I don't have to go through this ordeal again anytime soon.

Absolutely the best car buying customer service I have ever had. Had problems with my car I bought with oil pressure. They fixed it completely free and with no problems. They messed up a registration address and I ended up with a ticket because of it. We called down there and told them about the issue about a year after buying the vehicle. They not only helped us fix the issue but they also paid the fine due to them being the reason for the fine. All with no hassle haggle and with a smile. 100/10 service

I visited the Salisbury, MD, location looking to sell my SUV. I was greeted by an associate Ahmed . He was very welcoming and assisted me in very smooth selling transaction. During the process he did an internal appraisal to see if I could get more money for my vehicle, in addition, during my sale he was able to speak with the right people to help me transfer my MaxCare refund to my vehicle owed equity which helped tremendously in not having to write a check. Overall, I truly believe that Ahmed has potential to become a site manager in his future at CarMax.

Our salesman, Jonah, was AMAZING! Easy, quick transaction. Made sure all cosmetic issues with my vehicle were corrected at no extra cost to me. Was provided an equivalent vehicle to drive while mine was being serviced. Upon completion of my vehicle Carmax detailed my truck and filled up the tank with gas! Super happy and will definitely be returning!

CarMax currently gets zero stars, because they struck out at every part of the process, but I kept my head down through the torturous process they've created over the years, because I had experiences that are no longer relevant, as those experiences of the past have been replaced by new experiences that will grind you into dust.Ultimately, I have become desensitized to workflows designed by people who've probably never bought anything or lived an actual life in the USA, where people who can afford 60,000-dollar vehicles work for a living. To get a good, clean car that has passed their standards, and and which is set up nicely for the next owner, it might be worth the clown show of steps involved, along with the moronic levels of communication. It wasn't.The horrible cohesion between trade-ins, offers, financing, document gathering, transfer rules, appointment setting, etc., is comical. It is so bad that it could only have been created by a group of Six Sigma techies who never bought a car, nor anything else of such value.Then, the creepy, sleazy part: The truck (2019 Tundra) I wanted and transferred on line was deliberately managed to hide the significant paint and bed cover damage. From the dozens of online photos, to the placement outside the dealership, where it was 'presented for me' in a poorly lit corner, backed up to a wall (to hide damage and poor repairs.) Expensive options (cover, paint matched options) showed significant damage and ham-handed repairs. A 1999 mobile phone with a potato-grade camera would have shown the damage all over the truck, but CarMax couldn't reveal any of it in their dozen of hi-res images? How? Why? Answer: Deceptive practices. Unethical techniques.I have purchased over 50 vehicles, and this experience was on par with every bad ''used car dealer'' meme you can think of.I left; I lost 99 dollars on the transfer fee, because I was clearly being scammed, and went straight to Toyota to make my purchase via a process I would call world class.CarMax is a thing of the past.

Perfect ... I just love my new crossover. The people at Carmax in Salisbury, MD were so nice to deal with. It was ausually fun experience. The people there were so joyful and made buying a car actually fun. From our first day into Salisbury, MD Amy took care of us then our 2nf day in Dakota helped us with having our car shipped. Oregano sealed the financing, and CRYSTAL SEALEF THE DEAL IN SALISBURY, MD. I was over the moon with their customer service. The Rogue is running perfectly and kudos to Carmax as this is my 2nd vehicle to buy from them. WOOHOO

Everyone at Carmax in Salisbury MD could not have been nicer, including Ahmed, Jazz and Chris. There was an issue with the 1st car we purchased and they made sure to help us get the car that was right for us, all while giving us a beautiful loaner and keeping us up to date the entire time until our 2nd, new car arrived. We are 110% satisfied, and have told everyone. This is our new car dealer! Thank you Carmax!

Friendly from the moment of arrival , courteous, professional, and competent. There was no hassle when I registered a concern but sales persons graciously achieved a solution without controversy. At each stage of the process in buying a car, I was comfortable that I was receiving the best service . I will recommend CarMax to my family and friends.

This was my 2nd time at carmax. I sold my buick and this time I bought a small suv. My salesman Tim was amazing. He never rushed me and took his time helping me to find a vehicle that was in my price range. I can say with a smile on my face I AM VERY PLEASED WITH MY VEHICLE. Thanks TIM YOU ROCK!
