While I could easily opt for the convenience of a 10-minute drive to the BMW dealer and snag a loaner car, I willingly choose to make the 40-minute journey to Baltimore Bimmer and here's why.These guys aren't just experts in their field; they're also consummate professionals who genuinely care about the upkeep of your vehicle. They take the time to explain every aspect of the work being performed, never pushing unnecessary services. In addition to routine maintenance, I've relied on them for warranty work on multiple occasions, including fixing issues like hose damage due to the hot V design, axle problems, and window repairs. I m a long time customer of Baltimore Bimmer and I always have good experiences when bringing my BMW/s in for repairs. I am a DIYer that takes care of most of my cars basic maintenance but when issues arise that require greater expertise, Marty and his team of professional mechanics are my go to. They always get to the root causes and get me back on the road quickly and do so at reasonable costs. I totally recommend Baltimore Bimmer for your BMW and other popular Euro autos. Try them !! I am a hard person to please. They had my car for about 2+ weeks. Whenever I called, I was informed that they wanted to get it right and to just give them time. Well I did. My car (1995 bmw 525i) runs like a new car now! They are the best I've seen at baltimore bimmer!

This is for Pasadena location. I had my BMW serviced here and I have to say attention to detail was not a priority. Upon driving my vehicle I was experiencing something dragging on the ground. I looked and could see a pan that was attached but dragging. I took it back in and they admitted their mistake and replaced the pan. They said my car was the cleanest car they had ever seen that was 5 years old. Within driving 500 miles my check engine light is on. I had the code read and 2 mechanics in my family have said it could be related to the work they did. I called and tried to schedule an appointment and was told to get them to read the code it would be $155. I told them I already had it and the young lady informed me that it didn't matter. Very disappointed. I was hoping to have a go-to local BMW shop so I wouldn't have to go to the dealer in Annapolis.Update: I called back and still had difficulty with the office but luckily Dylan overheard the call and stepped in. After speaking with him he agreed to take a look at the car. The code is now cleared and he gave me advice on what could be happening with the car. If you can speak directly to the techs problems will get resolved. I appreciate his assistance and look forward to working with him in the future.

Marty Kennedy and the rest of the guys at Baltimore Bimmer treat me and my car like I am a member of their family. They negotiate with my warranty company to pay for repairs and I am always super happy with the results. Absolutely 110% the best BMW shop on the east coast. I cannot say enough in this review about Steve, Dylan and Marty s professionalism, attention to detail, and service. I have serviced my 2011 X5 35d with them for a few years now, and throughout every service they have been impeccable. My latest visit was no exception. Not only have they worked with me through the ups and downs of sourcing parts and dealing with suppliers, they have gone above and beyond the duties and wants of a professional shop. Every single member of their team are professional, knowledgeable, and unbelievably respectful. The attention to detail is staggering. BMW Service departments in the area cannot hold a candle to what these guys can do. If I could give 6 stars out of 5 I would. I implore anyone who needs work done on a German car (especially BMW) to check these guys out and give them your business. You will surely not regret it and working with this team is hands down the best decision that I ve made in recent history when it comes to my car needs. I highly recommend Baltimore Bimmer to any BMW owner. Several other places I visited were unable/unwilling to fix my TPMS system. Marty and team found the fault in my TPMS receiver module and replaced it in a timely fashion.

VERY impressed with how the folks at BB run their business. Two things in particular stand out. The first is the use of technology, with photos, to document the work and the needs of the vehicle and to share this information with the customer in near real time. The second is the attention to detail that is evident in how they treat the vehicle and the parts removed from it (see attached pictures). Attention to detail is what separates the good shops from the rest.In addition, because I was coming from relatively far away, Dylan went out of his way to arrange the drop off / rental / pick-up so as to make the process as smooth and convenient as possible. A BIG difference from many shops that make you feel as if they are doing *you* a favor by taking your money...

I ve used Baltimore Bimmer on two separate occasions and I have no complaints. Great employees, Marty was extremely very helpful. They helped me save 600$ on an oil leak that would ve cost me 600$ more than what I paid if I got the same repair fixed at the dealership. They work fast and are very convenient, even had flexible hours for when I was able to drop my vehicle off. Any futures repairs needed for my 525i I m taking it straight to Baltimore Bimmer. I m extremely satisfied with the work and service I ve received.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Unfortunately I am just disappointed. I made an appointment for my husband because he has an e30 and wanted to get his car checked due to his reverse not working on his manual transmission. We thought it could be a linkage issue because my husband did change the shifter. After diagnosing the car they said that parts for the shifter were missing and they couldn't properly diagnose the issue, which in my mind should have been a sign of i dont think they know what they are doing, but anyways my husband told them that the original shifter is in the car if they need it. So they changed the shifter and then diagnosed it saying the springs are shocked.(not good) and to takeout the transmission and fix it and do all that would be thousands of dollars. We said no we will just take it but we still had to pay over $500 for switching the shifter back just to "properly" diagnose it, which when my husband drove it home was worse than when he dropped it off. Now only two of his gears work and still no reverse. In my mind if you don't know what you are doing just tell me so I can take my car and go somewhere else. It's just very frustrating and we are both irritated and disappointed.

Went to Baltimore Bimmer a few years ago for a simple oil change. I was skeptical about going anywhere other than the BMW dealership but I wanted to save money. At first everything seemed cool, I picked up my car and everything seemed fine. Within 2 miles of driving I got a notification on the car saying the coolant was completely empty and the engine could overheat. Mind you I never had a single problem with this car prior. I took the car back and they said it was a small leak in the coolant system possibly caused by a small rock in the road I may have drove over while driving home. I was completely flabbergasted. I didn t want to believe they possibly did this themselves for more money but as time moved on I fully believed they did this themselves. They weren t satisfied with just an oil change they needed more money from me. Being naive I paid an additional 700 dollar for them to fix it. I picked up the car and drove home and the coolant sign came on again. They fixed the leak but did not fill the coolant back up, totally unacceptable. I had to park on the side of the road and fill it myself. I have not been back there since. This happened a few years ago, I didn t give them a bad review initially because I wasn t sure but now in retrospect I m 99% sure they did this. I don t trust them and would never return. This was my first time going there and I believe they poked a hole in something intentionally causing a leak so I would have to come back and spend more money. When I came to pickup the car the first time I remember the guy that washes the vehicles not being able to look me in my eyes, that was the confirmation I needed but still didn t want to believe it. I take my car to the Bmw dealership ever since then and haven t had any problems since.Service: Oil change

Visited Marty and the staff at Baltimore Bimmer needing a head light bulb. The tech went right to work on my problem and assessed a screw in the driver's side front tire...as wellThe bulb was replaced and tire repaired. I am so pleased with their work and the friendly atmosphere which they provide. GREAT JOB!I recommend them for BMW auto repairs instead of the dealer...Definitely, their price is BETTER!

After many months of attempting to get my 2017 Range Rover Evoque fixed and it being at 2 other repair shops I took my car to Baltimore Bimmer They were able to fix my car. They fixed it for half of what the dealer was attempting to charge me. I could tell that they were not only good mechanic s but really cared and wanted to make sure that all problems with my vehicle was fixed. People that work here are very nice, but my experience was really bad with the service.I have my car there for almost a year. First I was told that my low preassure pump is bad. Pump was replaced but with no luck. After that I was told my high preassure pump is bad. They replaced that too, but again that did not fix a problem. After replacing both pumps, the problem with car remained the same. After that I was told that my injectors were bad. Injectors were replaced and the problem was not solved. Finally, I was told that they don't know what the problem is. So, after spending $4000.00 dollars, I still have car that's not working.Again, people that are working here are really nice and as far as communication, they were great.However, I spent $4000.00, car was not fixed and I was left with no solution.How would you rate this kind of experience?Update (07-02-2023)Nobody ever got in touch with me, despite owner's promisse.Response from the owner was just for the audience.Update (07-18-2023)Steve, the owner (very nice guy),called me, and we came up with a solution.

My Serpentine belt broke and got sucked into the oil pan. I had the vehicle towed to Baltimore Bimmer for an estimate and ended up leaving it there for the repairs including a valve cover replacement. Great customer service and excellent work on the repairs. The labor cost was affordable and the mechanic did a tremendous job on the work. I would strongly recommend Baltimore Bimmer for all your bmw repairs.

The service Baltimore Bimmer offers is hands down amazing. Not only did Marty answer all of my questions on the phone, but the mechanic who diagnosed the problem of my BMW went into immense detail about what he found, and the suggested next steps. They even offered, after finding out that the timing chain was the issue, the diagnoses free of charge once they fixed it, and an extra discount when I went to pay. The convertible top on my 2009 128i would not go down and was stuck in the open position. I had tried replacing fuses and relays to no avail. I brought the car to Baltimore Bimmer and they quickly diagnosed the issue, which turned out to be water damage due to clogged drains, and provided me with repair options. They even included good pictures and documentation so I could file a claim with my insurance. While they had my car I had them complete some recommended fluid changes. Marty always answers the phone, which is rare these days, and their work is top notch.Services: Auto water leak repair, General repairs & maintenance
