White Flint Auto Repair is the only place we take our family cars. Dwayne and his team of experts are the most responsive, honest, and fair auto mechanics Ive ever encountered. It is a pleasure doing business with them! We have both foreign and domestic cars and they always do a superb job at reasonable cost. I have been very satisfied with White Flint Auto Repair for the several years that I ve been going there. The service manager is relaxed and easy going, easy to work with. The shop gives you what you need and not what you don t need. We used White Flint's services multiple times when we lived in the Rockville area, and they were fantastic. We first found them when we needed a used car inspected for the Maryland vehicle inspection upon moving to the area, and they quoted us $1500 less than another nearby inspection site. I also had a troublesome headlight that they persistently tried to fix without charging me for additional work when they didn't solve the problem right away. I completely trusted them to tell me what work was essential and what could wait, and their prices were always fair. A few weeks ago I took my wife s car to this shop for the first time as we moved to Rockville from DC. They did a good job diagnosing and repairing it. My wife has an old faithful 2004 Honda Element and she s cautious about where she has had it serviced. Do, when my car broke down , I had it towed to White Flint Auto Repair and they were able to quickly diagnose the problem to my battery; it likely had been drained down because I d an open door they were able to recharge it at no cost! I was pleasantly surprised and grateful for their honesty and professionalism. I ll be back! like Arnold once said.

We were referred to White Flint by a friend a number of years ago and have been more than pleased ever since. These guys truly care about the clients they encounter. Having peace of mind when it comes to the company that works on your car is priceless. I recently took our car here thinking we needed knew rear breaks and was told things only needed to be cleaned. And that was all that was done. There was no - let's give him breaks anyway charge. Thanks for your honesty and transparency White Flint! We will continue to refer your company to those in need of a great mechanic. Thanks again!

Every time I bring my 2007 Subaru to White Flint Auto Repair, the crew outdoes themselves. My clutch gave out. It's the week before Thanksgiving, and, like most everyone, I need my car. As I wait for the AAA tow truck, I call the service manager who says that it could take a couple days to get a new clutch from their distributer and then everyone will be off for 4 days. So, I call the Subaru dealership who say they can look at it tomorrow. When the Benji arrives in his tow truck, and I explain my problem, he say no, no, no to using the dealership because he knows White Flint Auto Repair will do a better job and save me lots of money on what will be an expensive repair. In fact, the dealership has overcharged me before, and the guys at White Flint have always been great with the repair and fair with the cost. So, I'm willing to ride my bike and take Metro for a week. Wednesday afternoon the phone rings, Dwayne tells me the car is ready before Thanksgiving (WOW), the cost is under the estimate, and White Flint threw in an oil change. They are unquestionably the best!Services: Electrical repair, Transmission replacement

Deserve a 10 star rating. Honesty and expertise, at a great price. That s what you ll get from these guys, plus excellent customer service (a rarity nowadays). What more could you ask for?First brought my now 10+ year old Subaru Impreza to White Flint after a bad experience at the dealer and have never looked back. They ve kept my aging baby safe and on the road for years. No problems getting appointments for both routine and not-so-routine work, and you ll always feel you re being kept in the loop. Ask questions, they are happy to answer and educate. Fast, (almost always) same day service, but never at the expense of reliable work.Duane, Al, Brendan, and all the guys at White Flint are friendly, QUALITY people providing an excellent service at a fair price. I love these guys! Seriously though, don t hesitate for a second to take them your vehicle. You ll never see another mechanic again.

Reliable, honest, direct.I've been going to White Flint Auto for years and have had only good experiences. They were great this week while my battery slowly and mysteriously worked its way through bizarre symptoms (limp mode, working, not working, draining, working, etc.) in the car without testing bad until the second time I brought it in. Al and everybody there is great.They're to the point, not looking for "extra" work, and always happy to talk you down when you're having a bad day and don't trust your car anymore. Hard to feel this good about many businesses anymore but White Flint Auto has earned my trust and respect.

I brought my car in for a squeeky clutch, oil change, and a wee bit of TLC. Not only was it a fast turn around, but my car hasn't been this smooth of a drive in quite some time. I give the customer service a 11/10! Great service!Had been here for State Inspection. After reading a lot of reviews and seeking quotes on Yelp, i decided to give White Flint auto a call.Turns out, they do the state inspection for a price lesser than most! Just $75.The process was easy, just drop off the car and get it after 3-4 hours. Plus there are no re-inspection charges.The person at the counter was welcoming. they have a good waiting lounge with Kureg coffee!Would recommend to anyone who is moving to Maryland and get the state inspection done here!The only problem is , they are open only on weekdays until 5PM.

Honest, good, fast. Very popular repair shop. I would recommend calling to make an appointment. For minor services such as oil changes you can wait in their small but very clean waiting area. They are honest in accessing your vehicle and present you with options for repair if options exist. Work is performed properly and quickly the first time. Helpful, friendly, and courteous personal. They have done some small repairs for us at no additional charge. White Flint Auto Repair has my full endorsement.

Needed to import my car to the US and they were able to make all necessary repairs. Service was quick and without issue. Great customer service. Will definitely be coming back if I have any further repairs!

White Flint Auto has to be, without exaggeration, the best repair shop in North Bethesda. I dropped off my 2006 Toyota Camry for a bad rattle and suspension clunks without an appointment. The vehicle was looked at within a day and Dwayne let me know that the serpentine belt tensioner was the cause of my rattle, and a few loose lower control arm bolts that they tightened was the cause of my suspension clunks. To top off fixing the clunk that's driven me crazy for months, the diagnostic rate was waived. Absolutely amazing service from White Flint Auto Repair. These guys are what mechanics should strive to be. If you're looking for honest and straightforward repairs, these are your guys. I arrived at work on the morning of Christmas Eve to discover that I had a flat tire. I called White Flint and asked if they could squeeze me in. They helped give me directions when I had trouble finding the place. They quickly plugged my tire and let me know I would need a new one soon. The repair was quick and reasonably priced. Very happy with the service!

This review has been a long time coming - our family has been using White Flint Auto Repair for ten or more years. These guys have been keeping our cars running and running and running, and doing it quite reasonably. They are reliable, trustworthy, affordable, and fast. They ve kept out 18 year old Camery running and almost as good as new along with a Ford Taurus wagon we used until the engine finally gave out. Very good communication and always willing to check something out for you. If you are looking for someone to check out a vexing problem who you can trust, give these guys a try.Service: General repairs & maintenance

The team was super polite, friendly, knowledgeable and timely. The repairs were conducted at a fraction of the prices quoted by the dealership and we we re not pushed to conduct non essential work. This was my third visit to this auto repair shop and I have consistently had five star experiences. They are honest, thoughtful, and provide really detailed explanations about issues with my car. Excellent service by some very nice people. They tell you everything before they do it with the price. And they do good work and they are not just reasonable, but honest!!! I have been going to them since my car was at 30,000 miles and it just turned 104,000.

I have been going here for 4 years and have to say it is the best experience with a shop that I have ever had, which is why I am willing to continue going to see these guys even though it is further out of my way after a move a few years ago. Juan is the owner and is a fantastic guy. Every oil change I go in for he gives me a projection on any work that may need to be done in the next oil change or two so I can plan ahead. He continually keeps in mind how long we are trying to get my car to last, and doesn't try to sell you on doing unnecessary work; in fact, he regularly advises me to wait on certain work until it is really necessary for the health of the car. I am always able to call and make an appointment with a few days notice, yet the guys always make the time for me if a potential emergency crops up. Last week my car had another issue with the transmission fluid tubing, which Juan and the guys had replaced for me a month prior. Just saw them again today to get that fixed, fully expecting to pay for the work, only to find a bill of $0.00. He told me the issue should have been fixed in the visit over a month beforehand, and so there was no charge. These guys are honest, accessible, experienced, friendly, and prioritize customer service. You won't be disappointed if you become a regular customer.

I cannot recommend this place enough. After failing my inspection, one place quoted me $1400 for repairs, which I wasn t even sure if it was worth. A friend recommended White Flint, her fianc� s family has been going there for years. They did the work for $650, my car has been running perfectly, they were fast and transparent, and even drove me to and from the Metro.

The most honest mechanics I ve met on the East Coast. I had a typical oil change performed with a coupon at the local Mazda dealership. They quoted me with $1,700 of repairs. I took the quote over to White Flint and they confirmed none of it was necessary. I offered to pay them for the inspection, but they said no charge and come back when you need to.Support these guys.

My car started making a strange noise while I was driving on Rockville Pike and White Flint Auto was the closest repair place. They were really busy but still took the time to take a quick look and thankfully it was something innocuous that could be fixed quickly. They fixed it and got me back on the road in time to make it to meetings at work. They were really friendly even though I was a little flustered since I had a busy day at work and didn't want to be late. I'll definitely use them for future service (hopefully with planned appointments and not sudden emergencies next time!).

This is a customer oriented repair shop. I knew we had found the right place for us when I brought in my 06 Sentra and the owner asked me, "What are your goals for your car?" When I got the Sentra back from them the first time, they had fixed my broken antenna. I hadn't even mentioned it to them as a problem, and they gave me a new one without charge. Super nice!I They kept that car on the road for me by doing exactly the work that needed to be done without trying to sell me services I didn't need.With our van, they helped us navigate our insurance claim after we had an accident. We were able to get a tow hitch added with the money they saved us.I completely trust what they say and the work they do, and I recommend them highly to family and friends.

Everytime I need to get work done on my car or even a simple oil change I am certain the mechanics at White Flint will do a good job the first time. They also will provide you with as much information that you need to make a valid decision and will not upsell you on things you don't really need. Don't be afraid to ask questions as they are more than willing to answer!Finding the place is probably the only hard part and that's only because it isn't right next to the road. If you are coming from Parklawn then go up the hill and past the stop sign (alleyway) and it'll be the second door on your left.**UPDATE 05.30.18: Been continuing to come here and just had another great experience. Had gone to the dealer to check for a leak to see if it was still part of an extended warranty. Turned out it wasn't, but it cost me $100 less at white flint and the dealer said my front brakes were dangerously low (2mm) so I had White Flint check them out. No brakes were under 6mm and they didn't do any unnecessary work on my rear brakes. Saved me $700 by coming here. Good looking out. Really gonna miss this place when we move!

These guys are the best! I came in need of an urgent tire patch, and within 20 minutes they had me back on the road. Considering I had just waited over 90 minutes for the dealership to tell me they couldn't fix my tire until the next day, the guys at White Flint saved the day! I will definitely be going back to them in the future
