Had my car detailed by Total Recon a few weeks ago and I was very impressed. Jon spent time with me before the work began to ensure they performed to my satisfaction. He was very attentive to my concerns and marked any areas of my car that needed special attention. The area to the left of my rear license plate was noticeably scratched and I had tried unsuccessfully to fix with do-it-yourself scratch removal kits - a big fail! The good news is that the professionals at Total Recon made it disappear! I have no idea how but I am very pleased. Another bonus was the fact that they even detailed my engine bay! Who does that?? My final thought is that this is not the first detail job I have had on this car. I tried an another place (twice) with a fairly good reputation but their work was no better than I can do. Not true of Total Recon, these guys are pros! Worth every penny!

My car was hit in Baltimore as hit and run parked. They were quickest to get to the unit plus they have Teslas as rental cars and tow truck. They kept me updated weekly and went above and beyond on a Tesla service help after the repair. They do take care of thier customers and I would not hesitate to return.

This company is very good. I m impressed they were able to put my Tesla back together after getting side swapped by a big truck. They were friendly and easy to work with. I could always call and get an update and/or Kevin would email me and respond very quickly to update me. They also did a great job repairing the car. It was also a nice touch that they fixed me aftermarket spoiler and made it easier for me to reinstall. I was hoping to already have it on but I guess insurance doesn t cover the labor. Either way, the technician put the adhesive back on fresh and put the screws in a bag for me to install. That was very nice of the staff. Check out the before and after photos. I definitely recommend this shop and was very happy with them. The below bullets separate them from the other body shops -1- They care about your car (the fact that they put my from aftermarket spoiler back together)2- They detail (exterior and interior) your car after they complete collision repair3 - They are great at communicating and updating you.

Always worried about the quality of a repair on Tesla's. Tesla has notoriously bad paint jobs and repairing them isn't often easy.This shop was fantastic start to finish. Even if it took longer than expected due to part shortages, the final product was well worth the wait.They have made a customer for life. Send your Tesla here if you have issues.5/5 recommend anyone needing their services for any car, especially Tesla's

Total Recon has top-notch customer service from the time I called over the phone, walked in the door, and picked up my car. There were weekly updates, and the vehicle work was excellent, and the rental was like brand new. All of the guys that work there are helpful, Kevin was my rep he's amazing. I will for sure go back if needed in the future.

Got into a relatively minor accident and brought my Model Y in as recommended by the local Tesla service advisor. I was little frustrated since it took a few more days than what they originally estimated. After making a few phone calls, I was told they are finally going through quality control and detailing. I honestly had my doubts and had to vent my frustration over the phone but they took it very professionally and my frustration quickly turned into a pleasure as soon as I walked up to my car. I was very impressed, not only the quality of work they performed but detailing in and out of my car. When they say detailing, they really mean it and you can tell they put their time and effort to get your car ready. It was in a much better condition than when I first picked it up at the delivery center. Getting into an accident and going through this process is not fun but it s great to have a shop where you can trust and get the work done professionally. I would definitely recommend Total Recon to any Tesla owners.

Total Recon got my model y back in shape. The customer service was immaculate!! Kevin made sure that I was up to date every Monday!! When I say this place customer service was on point!!! I don t ever want my car back in the shop but if it has to go Total Recon is the place!! Thanks for the great experience.

These guys take pride in their work, as well as their relationships with their clients. Darwin & Will are my guy s & surpassed my expectation. I literally could NOT tell where the previous damage was on my vehicle. Do yourself a favor & don t your TESLA anywhere else for body repair work. You won t regret it!!!

Dealt with Darwin during my whole process and he had made my life so much easier! Talk about excellent customer service. They took care of my car and returned it as it was brand new. They even have Tesla rentals for good prices if needed. I drove an hour away just to give them my business and was ultimately super impressed. Highly recommended.

Total Recon Auto Center is amazing!!! I am forever grateful to them. They turn my 2006 car into a brand new beautiful looking car.Total Recon Signature for 250$ is the perfect package.They did an amazing job on the coating. They removed all my scratches and clean out my trunk.They even clean my old headlights and now it looks amazing.Awesome car shop with very professional and honest employees that truly care for your car. Very warm welcome when you first walk in with many questions. I really enjoy our conversation on how should take care the car. In the end, you get that they do the things the right way and they care all their customers.My car now looks brand new, so if you have never done any detailing for your car before.Stop reading the reviews!!! Just take your car to them.You will see a huge difference.Thanks for reading.

I dropped off a rental car last week at Total Recon. I just want to share how honest these guys are and thank them. I left a pair of Prada sunglasses in the rental and they called me to tell me. It would have need easy for someone there to steal them. Good to know there are a few honest people left!!!

Total Recon went above and beyond my expectations! I purchased a base detail ($95) that included exterior wash and wax as well as interior vacuum. When I saw my car, I couldn t believe it was the same one I brought in a few hours prior! Will and Ernesto at the front desk are incredibly friendly, and Jeraldo, who did the detail, did an absolutely phenomenal job. There was mud and brake dust caking the wheels when I brought the car in, and now they look showroom quality! I cannot recommend Total Recon enough, I will be bringing them my business in the future without a question. Thank you Total Recon!

0 stars. irresponsible unaware. Lacking. They have a 3rd party receptionist in another country taking in detailed calls but has no clue and will never see your vehicle. Holding 0 accountability for you and your time. after Fidel set my appointment for repair just to call back hours later to say they can t do it. Leaving me frustrated and with more hassle to deal with. NOT WORTH YOUR TIME don t take your teslas here. and the Gm is a joke !

[updated review] updating my review to reflect the fact that Fidel reached out to me with an update and Darwin from their repair team got in touch with me with an estimate. I did not end up using their service because their estimate is over $1000 more expensive than the other place I ve checked. Nonetheless I do appreciate them reaching out to me.[original review] I contacted them via phone last week regarding some cosmetic work (small scratches on my back bumper). Fidel was very friendly and emailed me a few questions to answer, which I responded the same day. It has been more than a week and I have not heard anything back from them, despite checking in with them a couple days after initial contact (see attached email correspondence). I have already gotten an estimate from another shop during this time. I m very disappointed with the lack of response from this place. I was even hoping to get my cars detailed at their shop in the future, what a shame.

These guys are the best! I had some relatively minor damage so was self pay. They knew I didn t have a loaner car, so expedited the job and got me my car back in perfect condition before the holiday weekend. Darwin my service advisor was top notch and kept me updated along the way.

This should be the go to body shop for all tesla repairs. Right from the scheduling to insurance followup to pick up everything was seamless. Car felt like brand new at pick up. Would recommend them over tesla service center. Keep up the good work guys.

Total Recon and their staff and techs were great. Advocates against insurance companies and they did great work at a reasonable timeframe to repair my MYLR after a collision caused by another person. They used OEM, new Tesla parts and kept great communication with me for updates.There was even a small dent that missed upon post-repair inspection and they were able to repair it a couple weeks later. A+ service and work. Would recommend.

Friendly staff, only problem the space is limited they have tow trucks coming in by the boat load and teslas everywhere, but it's organized madness definitely 10/10

I reached out to about 10 repair shops recommended by Tesla and Total Recon was the one with the earliest availability and allowed me to send my Model Y in advance. The service was great!

This company is excellent! I brought my car here after I had been side swipe, and they were very quick, professional, and detailed in their work. Other body shops were eetimating incredibly long wait times - but Total Recon had an internal inventory of common parts, and they were able to have incredibly quick turn around. I was also able to get an equivalent car rental through them for the entire repair process. Incredibly convenient! To finish, they detailed my car and made it incredibly clean - inside and out! I didn't expect that at all, but it was incredibly appreciated. Little things like that show the level of attention and detail they have. I had a great experience receiving the signature detail from Total Recon Auto. Their team was very personable and the work was high quality. My car is 17 years old, but Total Recon made it feel new again! Highly recommend their services!

All I can say is WOW. These guys are caring, considerate, knowledgeable, and high class. They take care of my car and my family's. You should treat your car and get it detailed here. I even asked for estimates on some things I've wanted on some door dings and damage and they've given me all of options and sensible recommendations. I live in Arlington now and I STILL come here. Just amazing!

Scratched my Range Rover rear passenger window and trim pieces. I paid $350 for detailing (their supposed cream of the crop package) and for what? To have my car damaged? Left swirl marks and scratches that are not fixable without replacing the entire trim piece. Do not bring your car here unless you want it destroyed.

There were definitely some issues to deal with when my Tesla was in the shop. I reached out to Will and Alfonso and they apologized and explained the delays. I was also given a loaner car. Will kept me updated on the status of my car the whole way. I had really bad damage to the front of the car and was worried it couldn t be saved. Not only did they fix all the issues, but the car looks even better than when I received it. Thanks again to the team at Total Recon!

Very courteous and professional staff. They are a Tesla certified body shop. They loaned me a similar Tesla while mine was in the shop. They did a good job repairing the damage and I'm happy with the results. Kevin was very responsive in communicating with me throughout the whole process.
