Snider has a busy, clean efficient shop, smart conversation about mechanics involved, and honest pricing. He actually charged me $75 less than his original estimate-a first in my experience.

I contacted this company to have my a/c serviced. Initially, I was told it would cost 260 to put freon and replace the hose that was leaking. I was then told the compressor is going bad. So I said well let's replace the compressor. The guy hung up before I could ask how much it would cost to replace the compressor. I tried calling him back multiple times and couldn't get an answer. I figured out why I couldn't get an answer when I arrived to pick up my car. The price jumped from $240 to $1,043.28. I had priced the a/c compressor myself, so I was dumbfounded when I got the price! When I questioned the bill, all he could say was we replaced the a/c compressor and did some more stuff to it. He charged me $582.90 for an a/c compressor that costs no more than $200. Snider, you could have had a loyal customer, but you will never get my business again. I hope ripping me off was worth it! I don't understand why this place have high ratings in the first place.

I have been going to Bill Snider since 1996; they are the only ones who have worked on my cars for going on 24 years now.Their work is expert and thorough; the charges are reasonable; and they are trustworthy and honest - not always the case in the auto repair business!Highly recommended!

Greg has kept my Honda Element running in perfect condition with well over 200k miles. This shop is a true gem with awesome service and down to earth, honest mechanics. Would not take my car anywhere else.

Great place, Bill and his staff are amazing. Keeps my 99 Miata up and running, as well as my son's Volvo. Highly recommend Snider and Co for honest and reasonably priced auto work.

Thorough work at a reasonable price. I struggled with a minor but annoying mechanical problem for many years and made several attempts to have it fixed elsewhere. Finally, Bill and his crew has done the repair the proper way. I am amazed how well my 12-year-old car runs now.

I highly recommend this shop. Their prices are fair and they really take the time to explain what is wrong with your car and what you need to fix. They inspect all cars thoroughly and I am glad they were recommended to me. If you're looking for a new shop look no further!

Bill Snider has worked on all of our cars. I came to him for my Volvo, but he has cared for our Ford mustang, Hondas, Toyotas and even a Hyundai. Not fast turnaround because he finds what's wrong, and he is very popular because of his good reputation. You can count on him to give you an honest answer and only fix what is needed. Everyone needs a good mechanic and this should be yours.

My mom s car was signaling emissions problems and when the emissions testing paper arrived, we panicked. But Mr. Snider pointed out that since she was over 70yo, she could get some sort of waiver if the car failed the test [go to MVA website for details]. We had no idea! What a relief! Mr. Snider never does unnecessary work but always makes sure your car is safe to drive. He s a gem!
