Very good crew at Scandinavian Import - TJ is great at explaining the work being performed and is patient in answering all my questions. The car runs amazing after each visit. The shuttle to the Metro and back is always quick and pleasant.

TJ and his crew are exceptional for my 2009 Mini Cooper Clubman! Rather than just start recommending expensive service as the dealership did, they took the time to troubleshoot the problems and only repair what was necessaryVery trustworthy and reliable. Communication was consistent throughout the service and the office is a pleased to work with.My go-to place for fair priced and honest maintenance!!

Terrific diagnosis and treatment--and incredibly fast! Bolsters my confidence that this car can make it to 100K. At which time you will advise me on whether and how to convert it to battery! So far so good with Volvo repairs - fair pricing, def take it here for an estimate if you're using the Darcars Volvo off North Frederick road.Shout out to TJ for all of his help and customer service. Truly sets this apart from other repair shops in the area.

Anyone who greets you with a smile at 7:45 in the morning has my vote . Courteous , patient and knowledgeable staff are imperative for me to rate any business with 5 stars . This gentleman TJ is really a very capable manager . Me and my Audi are so glad I found this place.

Top notch maintenance and restoration work on my 2010 C30. TJ and Bogden are very friendly and professional. When you see the orderliness of the shop, it all makes sense. Worth driving an hour for me each time.

I haven t been here in a while since I sold my Mini but I had an issue with my BMW and a local mechanic couldn t figure out the issue. I forgot that Scandinavian also did BMWs. I gave them a call and explained the situation. Scheduling was smooth and easy. I dropped off the car and I was told I would be kept in the loop on the issues. Bogdan contacted me and explained the situation and said they might need an extra day to make sure everything was up to their standards before handing it off to me. The next day he called me saying the car was done but I forgot to mention another issue on the car. He was able to get that fixed that same day and I was able to pick up the car as scheduled. The cost was way lower than the local dealership and the customer service here was second to none. I love supporting local small businesses and this one goes the extra mile to make themselves stand out.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic

I've gone to Scandinavian Import several times to service my Volvo and they are great! Very experienced and knowledgeable when it comes to fixing Volvos. They also will conveniently pick you up or drop you off at the Rockville metro station which is super helpful.

I'm new to the area and have brought my car 09 Volvo V70 here a couple times to finish up with some issues I had prior to moving. So far it's my experience they are doing high quality work and charging very fair prices. I feel I can trust them and that's a great thing to find in a shop.

TJ was super helpful with my Volvo. Impressed by this shops knowledge and familiarity with Volvo s. Pricing is competitive and makes enough sense to prioritize their shop over a dealer. Also seems that their techs know which non-factory service intervals will prolong the life of the car, such as haldex AWD fluid services, etc.

I'm glad I was looking for a good auto shop that focuses on European vehicles. The services & work are really good. I truly appreciate the customer service. TJ provides excellent service & knowledge within his craft. My family will always choose Scandinavian import services for our Saab.

Have been using them since 1980, bought three Volvos from them and am looking at a new one down the road, their prices are quite competitive and the service exemplary. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and look out for my best interests. The staff is courteous, prompt and helpful, and the work was done right the first time. We have 2 Volvos, a 2015 S80 T6 & 2013 XC70, both are reliable but past factory warranties. Scandinavian has been taking care of my Volvo since I bought it in 2009. They've always been extremely professional, helpful, and honest, telling me what was absolutely necessary and allowing me to budget for the rest (or opt out entirely), and their pricing seems to be very reasonable for the market. I miss some retired staff (Phil!!), but continue to be pleased with their people, service, and business ethics. I always appreciate businesses I feel I can trust.

If you own a Volvo, skip the dealerships or any other repair shops. From the top down they are the best in Maryland. My engine locked and I thought i would be covered under a warranty but was not. Towed it in to Scandinavian and they brought it back to life without it needing a new engine. They explain everything and never try to pressure sell you like service agents do. They give you great prices on parts and their expert technicians are outstanding. Its been 4 months and no issues and I plan on taking the vehicle back to get the timing belt done! We've took our Saab to Scandinavian for years, and were always very pleased with the service. The guys who run the front consistently gave us honest information and a balanced viewpoint when we had to make a decision about work to be done. No auto repair is inexpensive, but we have always thought that Scandinavian was fair and trustworthy. We are looking forward to taking our new Volvo there when the warranty period is over!

This was my first experience with Scandinavian Import Service. I went to the shop based on the reviews that were online. I am very meticulous about the service on my cars. I love to keep my vehicles in pristine condition. I had just taken my car to another shop for a vacuum leak. It was smoke tested and things were replaced. $1300 later, I still had the same fault code and the vacuum issue. Scandinavian was able to find the air leak and replace a simple item for a great price. I was pleasantly surprised. I make an appointment for my other 2 BMW's for service. The reviews are spot on.

As a first time customer, I was pleased with the service and honesty of the staff. They worked on my Mini Cooper and fixed a Service Engine light I was unable to clear. They also did the correct diagnostics to make sure there was no other issues that would trip the code light. I also took my BMW in for A/C service. Now it works great. They fixed both cars for a fair price and called to let me know what they were doing.I'll be using Scandinavian Import Service again.

Great place to get my 2009 Volvo fixed. I almost paid 1050 at another place called Volvo Service Center, they also said I needed other stuff that was not really needed, my granpa is a Mechanic. They did my timing belt, oil changed and fix light bulbs for $647!!! I am always going to take my car there because they are honest, punctual and very professional.Thank you so much for saving me money and taking care of my car within one day. I love Scandinavian Import Service!!!

Scandinavian Imports Servicenter is the best place to get outstanding automotive service and to purchase excellent reconditioned used automobiles. I have done both over the past ten years with the utmost of good results and satisfaction.There is no place on Earth that does better. Scandinavian Imports Servicenter is multiples superior to their competition.Recently gave me a most satisfactory experience while finding an expert solution to correct a serious engine break down.The repair of my 2004 Volvo was complicated by its age and by being driven 255,000 miles to date.Excellent communication from Scandinavian Imports Servicenter management gave me detailed information about my service and repair options.I received good advice, weighing the options, to have the job completed. The repair gives a significant extension to the life of my vehicle plus improving its performance and handling.Service management kept me continually up to date with good information that clearly demonstrated a conscientious follow-up as the job was completedTechnician Edwin demonstrated excellent expertise. He possesses great energy combined with the most impressive diagnostics, evaluation, and mechanical skills.I believe the complexity of my 2004 Volvo repair is well beyond the capabilities and expertise of the normal Volvo dealer. This place is AMAZING!! I was visiting MD and had to get back to PA when my car started having issues. I'm picky about where I take my car so I researched mechanics in the area and this place looked top notch. I called Scandinavian Import Servicenter and they were able look at my car and get everything fixed all in one day! Both Phil and Clyde were extremely helpful and understanding. The pricing was super reasonable and fair. The garage was spotless and probably one of the cleanest I have ever seen. I couldn't have had a better experience and I'm happy to say I will be a life long client when I am in the Rockville area. Thanks so much for everything!!!

I have had Saab and Volvo cars for 40 years and they are the best service team I have worked with over the previous 10 years. Well trained, efficient, trustworthy and affordable.Phil, at the customer service counter, is especially terrific at his job. I can call him a friend. I have had problems while traveling and find that he can diagnosis and provide answers to mitigate the issues.
