I went here for a MD State Inspection and the staff was wonderful in every way. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable they helped with a few repairs so I could pass inspection. They were communicative throughout the process and got the all the repairs done in a few days. They helped shuttle me back and forth from my apartment to the station. I would truly recommend this location and staff to anyone. It's never fun getting repairs done, but this staff made the process easy.

A great shop and gas station. I took my car for the safety inspection, and everything was smooth. They were accurate and thoroughly checked my car. They even provided a free shuttle for me to go home and work from home while my car was getting checked. I had a good experience with this place and highly recommend it

Went in for 2 car inspections. Very good and friendly service. We really like that they pointed out the maintenance that need to be done soon. They did not pressure us to do it. This is how you gain trust. Really recommend.

I hardly ever do reviews, but I was so impressed with the people at this Exxon station. Friendly, capable and efficient from start to finish. They provide photos and explanations of suggested repairs and costs so you can make an educated decision in your own time on what you want done. All my questions were patiently answered. I can highly recommend this Exxon for car repairs.

I have an older car, so I have to bring it in every so often for repairs. The office staff is always very professional and helpful. While I wait I have great conversations and interaction with them. They talk to the mechanic in front of me to let him know the issue which turned out to be a screw in a tire on this last visit. I also asked the mechanic to look into a rattling noise. The mechanic listened to me and even thanked me for providing more information from my last visit to help identify the problem. He showed me and explained the problem with the car in language I could understand. When he was done he asked me to bring the car back if I still had an issue. Their follow up calls and actions have always been just outstanding. Even checkout was a great experience on this visit and the price was incredible. While visiting the mechanic can be painful and stressful, I m always happy to visit Exxon.

TL;DR: Either get a second opinion or consider getting major work done elsewhere (especially if inspection-related).I really don't think the shop was trying to pull one over on me, it just kind of happened that way. I had an inspection done, and around $1500 in repairs was needed to pass. It's a 10 year old car, so while I wasn't happy it felt reasonable. I dropped off the car and from what I was told, that $1500 would make my car pass the inspection. Then for two days in a row after dropping it off, bonus issues were found. I would be called at 6pm, and told that if I didn't fix them, I'd fail the reinspection. If those were issues to begin with, they should have been noted and failed on the original inspection, no?I was left in a situation needing to pay $4000 in repairs because of these bonus problems. They were not caught originally when they should have, or were possibly misdiagnosed originally (opinion of friend who knows a lot about cars).This whole situation left me in a financial wreck and carless for multiple weeks. The people were apologetic, but had I been told all of the issues up front, my course of action would have been very different. Instead, I was stuck in a lose-lose situation: I had already paid a lot of money on a 10 year old car and in order to get it registered in Maryland, I had to do continue doing these things they were calling me about.Again, while I don't think this was necessarily purposeful, it is a situation I would not want any other consumer to be in (especially if money is tight).

Visited for a MD safety inspection. Shoney was pleasant to deal with scheduling and even gave an awesome recommendation to a nearby breakfast spot. I can't stress this enough. Dont take your car to this place for inspection. They will try to scam you and get a lot of money from you. I took my car for a state inspection and they told me several tgs have failed and tried to charge me 1600 for the repairs. I didnt agree with the price they mentioned and fixed the issue with 400 bucks in another place and passed my inspection. This place is a huge ripeoff. P.s the customer service is ok though.

I find that I dread taking the car to the shop, but this place alone has gotten rid of that fear. Had to take my newly purchased used car in to get a safety inspection done with some additional work. Kwaku and the crew took great care of me and always went over the pricing and broke down the work needed before proceeding (plus answered the many questions I had). They are quick, efficient, and you can tell they really care about the customers that come through. They are honest and genuinely care about their customers.They always explains the bill and what is necessary to fix and what things can wait for a little bit in order to be able to spread out the payments.I'm so happy we have both cars taken care of by then. Don't take your car for inspection to this place. I took my car to Rockville Exxon for a safety inspection, and they were trying to scam me. They gave me a long list of items they said "failed" during the inspection and told me to pay $3300 to fix all those items.I took my car to a new place for another inspection, and just a few items (like changing a few bulbs, etc.) came up that needed to be fixed. After fixing those small items at the new place, my car passed the inspection.

I had great experience at Rockville Exxon. I called for my friend s vehicle. Vehicle had serious problem. Mechanic was able to diagnose the real problem. My friend was very happy with the result. Thank you Rockville Exxon. Jasbir

Last year a teenager rear ended one of my cars while it was idling at a red light. The driver provided their information but later denied that it happened. Even though I provided photographs, their insurance company was going to close the claim without some additional evidence. I asked Fitzgerald Hyundai and Rockville Exxon to review their cameras. Perhaps one may have captured the accident. Rockville Exxon went out of their way to review nearly an hour of footage and promptly followed up with me. After submitting the footage to their insurance company, they finally accepted responsibility. Thank you Rockville Exxon. You were exceptional, kind, and humble!

I've taken my vehicle to these folks for several years now for oil changes, HVAC repair, and general maintenance. I have always had a great experience with them. Courteous, professional, and very reasonably priced for the work they do.
