The expertise of the Preferred Automotive is evident in the quality of their work. The repairs were completed much faster than I anticipated on my Jeep W. They even took the time to address minor issues they noticed along the way.I cannot recommend Preferred Automotive highly enough. Went in for an oil change and a look see before a long road trip. They were quick, pleasant and professional. They found some minor issues but there was absolutely no pressure to get them repaired asap and I didn't get the somewhat usual mechanic "mansplaining". Refreshing! I'll use them again and would recommend them.

Gary was extremely helpful and knowledgeable! I came in to fix my front left wheel that was making noises when driving, not only did he diagnose and resolve my problem but they gave me a detailed illustration through a website portal that showed what other critical and non critical work needed to be fix, as well as what is functioning properly on my vehicle!

This was my first time going to Preferred Automotive and compared to my previous experiences with mechanics, I am pretty pleased. Todd was very professional and polite. He explained what my car needed, the work they did, and kept me in the loop the whole time. Work was done pretty timely, and they identified all of the things my car needs in the near or immediate future without pushing me to pay for those repairs at the time of service. I went for brake pad and rotor replacement, alignment, and rotation as well as two new tires. The car is doing great so far where those things are concerned. I feel the price was fair and competitive. I always recommend getting multiple quotes from different shops to make sure you're getting a fair price and they won my business this time. I will definitely consider this shop again in the future.I was very impressed with the diagnostic report and that I did not have to wait until the end of my service to get it. Very good communication.

I am very thankful to Gary, Todd and Preferred Automotive. It was my first time visiting them. After different issues with time constraints and unexpected situations happening to me, they were patient and gave me the time I needed in order to come for a diagnostic. They found the real issue which was less expensive than what other mechanics told me and fixed my car. I was pleased by their knowledge, their empathy and willingness to help with honesty. I am definitely coming back if my car ever breaks down again (aha hopefully it doesn't)Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic

Honest, knowledgeable and friendly. The breakdown sent to you that categorizes potential issues by necessity is really nice and makes it easier to understand before proceeding with repairs. Plus their system allows them to pull up what condition your car was in on the last visit, so if you were putting something off for later then they will be able to see if it needs to be revisited on the next visit.

It was the Wednesday before Christmas and the brakes on our car were not working. So we went to see the guys at PreferredAuto. They worked diligently and carefully to get the brake lines finished so we could go out of town to see grandkids. They stayed late on Friday to finish the job. This only lets you give 5 stars but we would give a million stars as they saved our Christmas. We are forever grateful. An excellent shop and workmanship as well as fantastic customer service. This is the only shop to use for car repair. HIGHLY RECOMMEMD.

Preferred Automotive performed excellent repairs on our rather aged Kia Sedona. Great communication throughout the process. When an unexpected issue arose, they were in contact with us very quickly, and we discussed the matter thoroughly.The completed work was outstanding, with no problems recurring. We highly recommend Preferred Automotive.

Yes, I was absolutely happy AND impressed with your work. Not only did I think y'all were fast, competent, and professional, but your customer service was outstanding. It is so important, especially in this day and time, to feel that a business is not only going to do a great job but also they are going to treat their clients as "family", as they want you to come back. I am definitely a client for life. My 2006 Nissan truck runs like NEW !!! Thanks to all of the Preferred Automotive Crew. I couldn't have wished for more.

Very detailed diagnostics on my car. Very friendly staff that took the time to explain things to me. They were not pushy with issues found on car and did a fantastic job on the repair asked for. I would go back with any issues I have with any of my cars and will be recommending them to everyone I know in the area needing a mechanic.

People who are working here are very professional and honest. When you enter the shop, you feel good vibe this is what is the most important. They give you official quote and comprehensive explanation for what you need and the most important thing for them is customer satisfaction because this is how you win in business.

I have gone to Preferred Automotive for almost 40 years, and the service is great. The staff are outstanding.We got some work done, but heard a strange noise when driving home. The staff had us bring it in immediately although it was the end of the day, and took care of a minor problem right then! I highly recommend this business!Service: Transmission

Todd and Gary are amazingly pleasant and a breathe of fresh air compared to most in the car business. Todd took the time to explain what I needed for my vehicle, gave me a quote same day along with a few options for my 2017 Mazda CX-5. After my vehicle was completed Gary did a follow up call to ensure all is well. No hassles or extra hidden costs, straight shooters, love it! I appreciate that Gary took the necessary time to work on my car, (the needed repairs were quite extensive), but also that the work was completed within a couple of days. Also, I truly appreciated the car wash inside and out before I picked up the car!

We have been taking our cars to Gary and Mike at Preferred Automotive since shortly after they opened in the 1990 s. They have always given us the utmost in auto care, and most importantly supreme confidence in the service preformed. We drive Hondas and with their help we kept our two cars in pristine running condition for years. Our most recent service was December 7. As always the service was great, and their preventive maintenance recommendations (never pushed) appreciated and implemented. We have complete trust in Gary, Mike, Todd and the entire Preferred Automotive organization. And they are genuinely nice people!

Service was fast and friendly on a non-functioning headlight that's tricky to access. It's been working as it should in the few months since. With a car up there in years and miles, and big ticket maintenance coming due, I really appreciated the condition report they provided. It was very thorough, with photos of my vehicle, and prioritized so I could make sure I was addressing the most critical issues as my budget allowed. Gary and his team were terrific, and I'm looking at that report right now to schedule my next service!

They provide a snapshot of your vehicle and what items are good, need to think about and need to address. They take the time to listen and help plan what services your vehicle requires while also honoring your budget. They are like family to my family and I would highly recommend them without hesitation. Took a serious issue with my brakes to Preferred and fortunately Gary and his team were able to get everything fixed and my car was back to me the same day. This was my first experience with Preferred but they just earned a new loyal customer. So hard to find a honest and experienced shop like this one anymore. Gary and his team, as usual, were extremely helpful and efficient. Last week, I noticed my headlight was out; I called the dealer and was quoted between $900 and $1500! I called Preferred Automotive who quoted me less than $200 AND said they could get me in two days later. I even called the dealer back to make sure I d explained my needs appropriately and they confirmed their initial quote. Needless to say, I went to Preferred Automotive and was greeted with kindness and professionalism. The job was done quickly, communication was seamless, and the quote was about $30 over the total! I d recommend Gary and his team to ANYONE.

Preferred Automotive has saved me and my family thousands of dollars over the years. I took my 2018 Mazda for a routine check at the dealer (big mistake) and they told me I needed a $2,000 engine repair. I decided to bring it to Todd for a second opinion. Besides finding a mouse nest in my engine that Ourisman Mazda missed, he pointed out that my car was under warranty and to march back to the dealer and let them know. Needless to say, the repair is now free at the dealer, and I'll never return there again once they fix it. Todd and crew kept my Honda Odyssey alive for nearly 200k miles and they will now be entrusted again with my Mazda. Honesty goes a long way in business.
