The experience with Sara and all at Motor Works was incredible to say the least. When going there you are one of the family and it was readily apparent throughout the entire process. The work was exceptionally quick, thorough, and without any reservation I will recommend them anyone. I can't say it enough but Thank You to all at Motor Works as getting work done at your shop was amazingly a pleasurable and reassuring experience which rarely ever happens getting your car worked on.Service: Auto maintenance

Out standing auto shop for Toyota and Honda car owners. They might not the lowest price shop but the quality and honesty you receive makes the difference. I have been taking my cars to Motor Works for over 15 years and they have done an outstanding service keeping running smoothly.Service: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance

I have been to Motor Works in the past and had fantastic service. This time I went there and they were closed due to fire damage. I hope that they can rebuild and open soon. They are worth the visit and they will earn your business.

The wonderful, ethical, and highly skilled folks at Motorworks have been taking care of my cars for the last 25 years or so. When they recommended I give up my 17 year old Accord b'cuz it needed too much work, I did it. If they said it would be worthwhile to save it, I would have - which is how much faith I have in their integrity. They could have made a lot of money from those repairs, but they put my best interests first. They now take care of my new Accord and installed the factory accessories I wanted. They are honest, highly experienced and genuinely care about their customers. Read Greg's book for more on that. You cannot go wrong with Motor Works.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Wheel alignment, Oil change

THE MOST PLEASANT AUTO CARE ESTABLISHMENT IN THE WORLD!!! The staff is very knowledgeable and extremely friendly. I felt like I'd known them for years the first time I walked in. The work they do is excellent, I appreciate that they take the time to explain the work that needs to be done as well as the cost. They are not pushy in any way at all. It's a great place to go.My third visit to have scheduled maintenance on my vehicle, every interaction with everyone at MotorWorks is exponentially better than the previous one! These folks truly treat their clients like friends and family, it's unreal how professional, nice and HONEST they are. While waiting for my vehicle I met a couple clients that actually live in other states (not DC or VA), hours away that continue to bring their cars here for service! I can say that I am now on that list, should I ever move from this area I will not let another mechanic service any vehicle I own!Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine tuning, Engine repair, Wheel alignment, Brake service & repair, Battery, Oil change

I have been a customer of Motor Works since they began in business some 40 odd years ago and their service is second to none. Above all else they are honest! If you own a Honda, Toyota or Subaru product, you owe it to yourself (and car) to visit them the next time your vehicle need service.Service: Auto maintenanceService: Auto maintenance

This was the first time I had my car serviced at Motor Works. Everything went very well. The team is easy to communicate with and setting up an appointment was great. They took me within a day. I thought the pricing was fair for the services I received. I will be taking my car back to them in the future. The Motor Works team has taken care of my Acura and Toyota since 2010. It's one of the most well-run businesses I've ever encountered in roughly 35 years as an adult consumer of such services. Sara and Paul treat me (and any new customer who walks in the door) like a valued friend, and the service team is impeccably qualified and competent. I have complete trust in their integrity and judgment, vindicated by more than a decade of experience. I couldn't possibly recommend them more enthusiastically.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I've been using Motor Works for at least 30 years, and they have been a first-rate organization that I would recommend unconditionally. Their customer service is excellent and they consistently go above and beyond. Their technicians are very good at diagnosing problems quickly and accurately. I've never felt that I was overcharged or pushed to get work done that wasn't required. Also, I've never had to bring back a vehicle a second time for work that was performed. Keep up the great work, guys!

Motor Works is my car family. They have provided me with quality service and car care for over 20 years. When I moved to North Carolina several years ago, they diagnosed my car over the phone after a disastrous visit to a local dealership. They were able to find a mechanic in my new area that properly fixed the car. I moved from Maryland to Florida 18 months ago but am very happy to have the opportunity to bring my car back for servicing. From Sara and Paul at the front to the highly talented mechanics in the service area, the whole team is wonderful: thoughtful, professional and thorough. I highly recommend Motor Works!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

I had a pleasant experience recently at Motor Works. The brakes on my car were squeaking and vibrating and I had a long out of town trip coming up in two days. Sara was able to accommodate me into the schedule and she and Paul followed up with a complete diagnostic of the car with a few recommendations about what needed to be done, and all the work was done and the car was ready by the evening before my trip. My 1000+ mile trip was squeak free. Very happy with the work done, and my overall experience there.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Brake service & repair

They've maintained our Acura's and Toyota's for years and the service is always completed on time and with no follow-ups ever necessary. A great staff even during COVID they maintained their high level of customer service with no-contact car pick-up and return and loaner cars at no cost. Their work is thorough and to the factory specifications. You can't do better.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

I have been servicing my two Hondas here for years. They offer the rare combination of trustworthiness and highly skilled mechanics. I have implicit trust for their recommendations and repair work. To date, they have guided my 2006 Pilot though 250,000+ happy miles. In addition to the craftsmanship, the front office team of Paul, Sara and Brad brings a personal touch to the business. Would highly recommend.

They provide excellent service, keep track of your records, and will not try to sell you service you do not need. We ve used them for the last 25 years and never had a reason to go back to correct something. When my tires got cupped the tire shop said I needed four new shocks. Motorworks found the car was just out of alignment and saved me $1,200 dollars. They also alerted me to a cooling system defect and extended warranty for my sister s Civic that saved her an expensive repair and they don t even service her car! Motorworks costs the same as a dealer shop but are far superior in workmanship, honesty, and in going the extra mile!!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine tuning, Wheel alignment, Brakes, Oil change

My air conditioning in my 10 year old Honda CRV failed this summer just before the July 4th weekend. I ve moved to AA county recently and tried to book an appointment with a local car repair place but couldn t get one sooner than a week and a half later. I requested an appointment using the online feature offered by Motorworks and was able to schedule one (including a loaner car) for the following Wednesday, usingTuesday afternoon to drop off/ pick up loaner car and head home before traffic got too heavy. The car was repaired and ready on Thursday afternoon when I returned my loaner car. The whole process was smooth and professional. I ll continue to use Motorworks for my aging car in spite of the distance from my new home because I know they are trustworthy and highly skilled.Service: Air conditioning

I have been using Motorworks for over 12 years and can't say enough good things about Greg and his crew; they know Hondas inside out and will only recommend a service if you need it. My Accord is now 20 years old and runs like new thanks to Motorworks. Call them today if you want your Honda, Toyota, Acura, Lexus, or Subaru to last, take it to Motorworks!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

For months a noise from the rear half of our 2014 Toyota Highlander would come and go. We brought it to our regular highly-rated mechanic, who has served us extremely well for years. He did two lengthy test drives but it was a day the noise had taken off. He could not hear it so, not surprisingly, he did not find anything despite looking under the car for 30 minutes.I decided to look for another highly-rated mechanic, perhaps in a larger shop with more sophisticated equipment. That search led me to Motor-Works. I don't know if they actually have more sophisticated equipment than most other mechanics. But what I do know is that they have more extraordinary people in every part of their business than most other mechanics. More than most other businesses to tell you the truth.Motor-Works staff are incredibly talented and they really love what they do. The interest they take in you and your car is just astonishing. They were determined to find the noise in the Highlander. But the noise seemed to have a mind of its own and would not cooperate. It went into hiding during my first visit. So even though Motor-Works spent a couple of hours thoroughly evaluating the car and searching for the source of the noise, no luck. But they pleaded with me to bring it back anytime the noise reappeared. So that is what I did. And finally, a mechanic heard it. He determined two parts of the cars frame were supposed to be 3 or 4 inches apart from each other had become so close they sometime rubbed against each other, creating the mysterious noise. The determination of the Motor-Works staff was tremendous and way beyond what I've experienced with most others in the 30+ years I have owned cars. And though both our regular mechanic and the Motor-Works staff spent hours trying to find and stop the noise, neither one of them charged us for their work. We are going to find our way to give them both our business going forward. I am convinced if you have Motor-Works service your car, you'll never want to take it anywhere else too.Service: Auto interior vacuuming

Motor Works is the best! I stumbled upon them late 2020 and am so glad I found them for my Acura. Customer service is top-notch (go Sarah!) the technicians are knowledgeable and awesome, and as a new customer you even got a free book (which every driver, particularly new drivers, should read)! Also, I, highly recommend that you check out the nearby Bean Bag for good coffee, better bagels, and an excellent chocolate cookie.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I m fairly new to the Motorworks family. It s been a long time since I ve walked into an auto shop and have not felt like a battle is brewing. Being female has always added extra spice to getting anything repaired. Every time I ve needed to bring my car in, it s always been a wonderful all point experience. Everything from getting a full maintenance report. When I say report, they check everything and attach photos. There is a comment if a part looks questionable. It s put into the report. To, my battery kept dying through the pandemic. I had to have my poor little Prius flatbed towed into the shop. She was at the shop for 2 days running tests and diagnostics. They couldn t find a thing wrong, but explained to me that it might be the defect of the trunk closure sensor, because they ve seen this before. All in all, MotorWorks has in spades what other companies are continually failing at; honest reliability and customer service and support.Services: Auto battery replacement, Auto power window repair, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair, Vehicle Inspection, Auto battery maintenance, Auto maintenance, Battery

My dad and I have been bring our Subarus here for a couple of years now and we could not be happier with the service. My wrx has been cared for and treated very well them. My dads forester has also been treated perfectly by them. But to us it isn t about just finding good service for the cars or a good price. We feel welcomed as if we were family and they care about us as people. My dad and I couldn t be happier taking our Subarus here and all the people that work there from Paul, Sara to John Josue, Brad, Todd, and Greg.

Motor Works has been doing top quality work on my family's Honda and Toyota vehicles, for over 20 years. I just started taking my Subaru WRX to Motor Works for service, as they recently added Subaru to their list of vehicle specialties and mine is just out of warranty. I know that I can always trust the crew at Motor Works to go above and beyond, to make sure that any mechanical work is done correctly, explained in detail, and finished within their estimated time frame. It's always nice to have the sort of peace of mind that the team at Motor Works consistently delivers. Thank you!

Motor Works Inc. Is a phenomenal shop. Their service is second to none. They completed my vehicle in a thorough and very timely manner. The family atmosphere of the shop is great. When I picked up my vehicle I met the owner, his staff, and the technician that performed the work on my vehicle. Their attention to detail and invitation to their shop will make me a customer for as long as I own my vehicle. I will definitely recommend this repair shop to anyone who drives a Honda or an Acura. Thanks for such an easy repair and look forward to doing business in the future.

I have been a client of Motor Works for over 20 years. They are the reason I have owned three Hondas--I would never trust another shop with my car. Over the years, I have never had a problem with my car that they couldn't fix and fix it right the first time. All the people are extremely knowledgeable and extremely friendly. If you want to keep your car running well and running for 200,000 plus miles, they will make that happen.

I have been a customer of Motor Works since 1986. They have always been fair, reliable, consistent in their performance, and exceedingly friendly to everyone who visits them. While some may find them a bit pricey, I have not -- indeed, I've gotten the benefit of many of their informal discounts. As long as I own a Honda and live in the Washington, DC region, there will only be one place for my car's upkeep -- Motor Works.
