I am meticulous when it comes to my vehicles. I prefer to do the work myself because few mechanics care to have the attention to detail that I do. I had to have the motor and transmission mounts changed in my AMG Mercedes and I decided to try out Christian and MDEuroCars. They did the repair flawlessly, quickly, and with no excuses. The prices were very fair. I looked underneath to see if there were any scratches or missing clips to the underbody, and there were none. I am very impressed, and will be returning to them for further work. Highly recommended.

Highly recommend. My family has been going to them for years and always leave very satisfied with their services. Christian is clearly transparent and Blenny is very communicative with the whole process. They give you the heads up on a few things prior to becoming an issue and you leave feeling confident your vehicle is in good hands.

This is by far the best mechanic shop I have worked with and they treat every customer with respect. This is really a hidden gem and you won t be disappointed if you trust these gentlemen with your car. I'm definitely recommending this business to anyone who wants an honest car service done. Christian is super friendly, professional and above all things honest. He explained what services were performed on the car and the ones that may need to get done next time. Absolutely the BEST auto shop in the DMV area. I began to take my cars here exclusively after too many experiences with other shops. A couple years later and my entire family gets their cars serviced here, including domestic and Japanese vehicles.Christian and his team are super knowledgeable and above all, totally fair and honest. I wouldn't trust my car with anyone else! I've been taking my '92 525i to Edgar for about 2 years now. He is very honest and extremely helpful. He treats his customers like family. I recommend him to anyone I know who needs a mechanic. Great service, reasonable prices, and excellent customer care!

I brought my 2005 BMW to Mdeurocars and Christian, the owner, has been so helpful! He explained in details of what my car needs and fixed it at a cost less than half of what other shops have quoted. He even took prior- and post-work pictures of the inner components to help me understand my car condition. I am thrilled to find this honest and kind mechanic. We will always go to his shop in the future for sure.

Christian is hands down the best mechanic I know, and I know many mechanics in many different industries (car, motorcycle, bicycle, welding, and diesel engine mechanics). I have been taking my 5 cars and my family member's 5 cars to Christian for over 5 years. I have sent him countless friends over the years as well.He is incredibly knowledgeable, and capable of everything you could need for your vehicle. He is BMW, VW/Audi, and Bosch certified, among other certifications. Whether it's my $600 20 year old beater car or my late-model high-hp modified GTI, basic maintenance or custom upgrades, he always knows how to address a situation no matter how mundane or possibly challenging it may be. On the other hand , no matter how complex the problem may be, Christian always has the knowledge, resources, and experience to fix even the most frustrating of problems. He's incredibly thoughtful and honest, and will offer to source used parts to complete a repair and save you a couple hundred dollars.Christian's shop is packed with high end equipment that he always maintains and treats with respect, which is just one of the many factors of delivering exceptional automotive repair service. His team of mechanics that he's assembled also needs commendation. Each of his guys is skilled, experienced, and hard working. When I first got into doing all my own car repairs , I did all my repairs at his shop with his supervision, as well as the supervision of his team of mechanics. I have spent considerable time working with each of them as I still come to his shop when I need a space to do major service (i.e. engine and transmission). All his guys are always willing to help out with tips and tricks that only someone with years in the industry would know. I'm greatly appreciative of them and Christian.Even though he is so busy that his 5 car garage is always always always full, he still always picks up my phone calls or gets back to me quickly, always goes out of his way to get me the best information and pricing he can, and always jumps at any opportunity to help me or someone else out. He's gotten me, my family, and my friends out of bad situations more times than we can count.Everyone knows that owning a car is expensive and often frustrating. Christian is amazing for many reasons, but what I guarantee is that he'll help take that expense and that headache of owning vehicles down a couple notches. I know he has for me and everyone in my life.

UPDATE - Christian has taken this shop to the next level. Four years and 60k miles later, he's never disappointed me once. Christian just completed heart surgery ( replacement of exhaust camshaft, camshaft bearing ledge, and VANOS) on my 328. The car runs better than it ever has and, as always, the bill was more than reasonable. More importantly, Christian took the time to explain each step of the process and show me the wear on the old parts.Christian also did a bunch of work on my now gone Passat, including a complete intake cleaning/carbon blasting, rear main seal replacement, and injector replacement. He's also done outstanding work on Mercedes for two colleagues.From personal experience, if it's German (and that's my name), take it to Christian.PRIOR REVIEW -Edgar and Christian @ MDEUROCARS are a great team. They took great care of my '07 BMW 328i. I had an estimate from another indie shop for replacing the valve cover gasket, the oil filter mount gasket, and the accessory belt tensioner (tensioner only!). This estimate-which itself was about $200 cheaper than the dealer- was over $1,800. Edgar and Christian gave a very thorough estimate and answered all my questions, including whether they use BMW OEM parts (they do) and whether I could bring my own parts (it wasn't worth it). The best part was that their estimate came in at about $1,300 INCLUDING an oil change (with the proper Euro-spec 5W-40), spark plug change, and replacement of the accesory belt and two other pulleys. Even after Edgar discovered that the plastic valve cover was cracked and required replacement, the final bill was $200 less than the original indie estimate. More importantly, the engine bay was impeccable and the car runs like a dream.Although I am pretty mechanically inclined and have worked on VWs for quite some time, I no longer have the time to do anything major on my cars. However, I am sophisticated enough to know when a mechanic is trying to pull the wool over my eyes. I never got that feeling dealing with Edgar and Christian. I highly recommend them. Don't be fooled by the small shop; these are two highly qualified guys that do outstanding work for much less than the fancy shops and much, much less than the dealer. I get the feeling that they're not going to stay small for very long. My 3-series will continue in their care and my '10 VW Passat is coming their way in the next few days.

I brought my 2003 BMW M3 to MDEurocars and I don't think I will bring it anywhere else. I called them because I wanted an alternative to the ripoff prices at the dealership. When I first called them, I was pleasantly surprised by the professionalism and courtesy of Christian. A very rare thing. He gave me a very fair and honest estimate for a leaking gasket in my rear diff. When I arrived, he was there on time and was ready to take my car in immediately. Zero wait. He put the car on a lift and walked through what he saw and explained what he was going to do and why. I told him I had recently bought the car used and he offered to do a complete safety inspection on it to ensure everything looked good, free of charge. I had a ton of questions for him and he answered them all honestly, thoroughly and professionally. I never felt I was asking him too many questions or felt like he was rushing me. I could tell the customer came first and he wasn't just trying to take my money. After all the work was done, the bill came to exactly what he had told me on the phone even though he did a few extra things for me last minute. It is hard to find a knowledgeable and capable mechanic for German cars. It is even harder to find one which is also honest and professional. I'm a tough critic and I tell it like it is. MDEurocars is all of the above. I will continue to bring any car I have for all my needs and will gladly refer them to all my friends and family. If you don't give MDEurocars a chance you are truly missing out on a diamond in the rough. Their pricing can't be beat and the experience is as pleasant as it is going to get for a car repair. Icing on the cake, he even offered to shuttle me to and from my house as I didn't have a ride. Two Thumbs up easily!!
