Let this serve as a warning to anyone thinking about using Kenwood Auto Body for their repair. I started the repair process with the Rockville location. Got the estimate done and was scheduled to bring my vehicle back 2 weeks later to start the repair. About a week before the repair they called and said they were behind schedule and asked if the repair could be done at their sister shop in Gaithersburg. I would be able to drop off and picked up the car from the Rockville shop and they would handle towing between the shops. This sounded reasonable so I accepted.As advertised, I was able to drop the car off in Rockville. However, the Gaithersburg location said they were unable to tow the car back to Rockville after the repair was complete and I needed to get to Gaithersburg to pick it. If I only had to do this once I would have been annoyed but moved on with my life. Well now I'm dealing with a poor repair done at the Gaithersburg shop. I can not drop the vehicle off in Rockville and am stuck driving to Gaithersburg at least once more, maybe more.The rest of my negative experience revolves around the Gaithersburg location. I will be sure to leave my review of Kenwood Auto Body - Gaithersburg after that is completely resolved.The current warning is - DO NOT let them take your vehicle to one of their sister shops.

Fixxed my Tesla. They are an approved shop. They did a great job and I can't tell the significatnt repair to rear end, charging port was done. Returned car cleaned inside and out. Not shop's fault buyt Tesla parts take a long time to arrive.Service: Body & TrimService: Body & Trim

Took my 2021 mazda 3 hatch here twice to repair left driver panel door. It was wavy and bumpy the first time. I took it back and it was still wavy, but thought I was maybe overreacting. Took my car to the detailer when I moved today and was embarrassed. He immediately asked if I had been in an accident and that they did a terrible job. They're cutting corners. Got video to see the swirl and wave. I'll send upon request.Via progressive insurance

The associates there are very friendly and helpful. They were quick to get me in and out and even helped me remove my child's car seat from the car. The office interior is very clean and welcoming. I had not used Kenwood before but it was an approved repair shop by my insurance company. I'm glad I did.Services: Painting, Body & TrimServices: Painting, Body & Trim

My car was in an accident in 2021 which started my connection to Kenwood. They fixed all of the damages to an extent. While to the naked eye the problems were resolved, gaps and misaligned areas could start to be seen. I came back to the shop a few times over the past two years to fix these issues but they would always come back. On top of this Ray would be nothing but rude and arrogant. My last straw with this shop was a few days ago when my frunk hood would not close. Once I dropped off the car, I was again shown attitude from Ray. He told me that my personal modifications (fog lights and front lip) were the cause of the issue (they are not connected to each other in the slightest). He aggressively told me to find my own way home because he will not pay for me to have a rental . I wasn t aware employees providing rentals comes out of their pockets but he seemed to have this belief. Because of this, after holding my car for over 24 hours, seeing it had not been moved from where it was parked through my app since I dropped it off, he told me there was nothing they can do and because it was my fault. Because I was scared to drive my car home in its condition, I just drove around looking for a shop that has teslas in the front so that I could possibility find somebody that could help me. Thankfully I found a shop down the street from Kenwood that looked at my car for a minute and immediately let me know that the issue can easily be fixed and the problem was caused by Kenwood not properly aligning all of the parts after my accident. The job was done in an hour. Please avoid this shop at all costs they have caused me so much stress.

Rob is the absolute best. Kalina ( I hope I spelled that right) she is amazing. They provide great customer services. They kept me updated on the progress and worked that needed to be completed. Kenwood did a beautiful job repairing bumper damage to my Toyota Prius Prime, looks great and they did detailing inside and outside my car. Nice, professional staff. Nationwide covered, their is a ln Enterprise very close in Southlawn and Enterprise came and picked me up for a rental car. Everything went smoothly.Service: PaintingService: Painting

I had a lot of work I needed done on my car and they worked with me on timing and price. The team at the Rockville location were extremely professional and accommodating. Every time I called to check on the status of my car, they gave me a thorough explanation of what was happening and when I could expect my car back. They came in on time and on budget. Having recently bought a new Model Y, I was very hesitant on taking it to any body shop to install an aftermarket tow hitch that I had purchased. However, William and his team made me feel super comfortable throughout the entire process! He ensured me that his shop took very good care of Tesla s and it definitely showed! The only thing is that I think I was overcharged for the service as I ve heard that tow hitch installations cost between $200-300 and I was charged near $400.

My 2020 Tesla Model 3 was rear-ended - leaving nasty scratches on the rear bumper so I took it Kenwood Auto Body and I was glad I did. From the service coordinator, Jonathan to the manager, William, everyone was super nice, professional and very friendly. They made me feel like family and went above and beyond to point that I even scheduled another appointment to have dents on my other car fixed there. They did a fantastic job, I highly recommend them. I wish I can rate them 10 stars. They're great!Service: Body & Trim

Kenwood Body Shop in Rockville is an outstanding Tesla certified body shop. Every part, down to a bolt, came from the Tesla factory. They kept me updated with tracking information for every part so I knew we I was getting authentic Tesla parts. My 2018 Tesla has brand new parts and there is no evidence of an oops. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and keep you in the loop. I certainly didn t pick them for the location as I live 1-1/2 hours away I wanted the best and they are superb.Service: Body & Trim

My car was hit by a deer recently and had to have body work done that was covered by my insurance. I chose Kenwood because I had previously used In and Out Autobody and when I called I learned they had been taken over by Kenwood. So, I was a little skeptical, but I had not been impressed by the company I went to for the estimate that was closest to my home. I knew from the first phone call it was probably a good risk. Their service beginning with the first phone call is very professional and nice! Nice goes a long way these days but it didn t stop there. They were very responsive after evaluating my estimate and they checked to ensure they would have parts in before they asked me to drop off the car. They estimated it would be done at the end of the week but when a part was unexpectedly needed once begun, they let me know it would be a couple more days. I had a rental hoopty but I didn t mind the extra time. They also let me know midway that if I wanted to have a little more done than insurance would cover (my car is 9 years old and had a few battlescars) they could do it and save me money because the paint etc was already purchased. So I agreed. I picked my car up today and it looks like new. It cost exactly what they said it would and they did lots of extras including the inside so the car looks like new!!! The level of service, cleanliness and professionalism sets Kenwood apart from most other body shops. I highly recommend them for any body work. I have used Kenwood Auto Body in Rockville a couple of times for my Tesla when I got rear ended. They took care of me every time. William Sanchez is amazing! Very professional, great leader. He makes me feel like a valued customer, when many body shops are condescending to ladies. Highly recommend them.

First went to the body shop around the corner from Kenwood that was one of the top-rated shops on Yelp and received a ridiculously high estimate. Went to Kenwood a few minutes later and got an estimate that was less than 1/2 of the other estimate. William kept me apprised throughout the process and I got the car back in immaculate condition inside and out. My car seriously looks so much better than what I thought possible based on the price, and was spotless inside and out. Kudos to the shop, especially William and his team!!!

Willam was extremely professional. Was having a very rough day and he said he can take care of my car and make it look new again. The staff what worked on my car did an amazing job. I would 100% recommend Kenwood Auto Body to anyone that needs anything done with there car!

Was a thorough experience. Can't complain about the process. Todd was a gem to work with and my Model 3 came back even better than I get it off the Tesla center, from day 1. Definitely recommend, especially to other Tesla drivers out there.

I initially took my Tesla model 3 for front hood and rear bumper damage. The shop repaired that. They released the car to me, and I picked it up after hours. On the way home, I noted that the car had a completely different problem from what I had taken the car in for - the car was squeaking at every turn, and TPMS system was reading a fault. I took the car back to Kenwood and was told that these issues were not related to the accident, and I would be responsible for the cost of repair. As I needed the repairs, though clearly the issue was a result of their work, I agreed. They ultimately scheduled the repairs 3 months after the initial work. This time they changed the front control arms and the receiver of the TPMS. The squeeking stopped, but the TPMS fault persisted. They insisted on the full payment, and told me to schedule a repair of theTPMS system with the Tesla repair shop. Now I have an appointment with Tesla. Not cool. Two stars for doing a good job on the cosmetic repairs. Car panel's were broken and replaced w/out notifying me, took the car back and still some panels were not closed properly. Kept the car in shop for months. Mistakes happen i understand, its the fact that they tried to hide/conceal it and lost all my trust. I've already shared this horrific experience with friends and families and advised them to take their car to tesla autobody shop ONLY! Advisor said he'll call me back to get reimbursement for rental which i never got. Due to shop's negligence i've ended up paying $$$ in car rental fees and missed work days. Took my car to tesla and they only kept it for one day and fixed Kenwood auto Body's mess. Tesla fixed and ensure all the panels were snapped back in properly, door seals were fixed so door closed properly. My Dash cam showed my car just sat at the auto body shop for weeks and was not being worked on while i was paying car rental fees out of pocket.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I was put on Keenwood by a buddy of mine that had work done at there and told me they work on a ton of Teslas , I learned that they are Tesla certified and that sealed the deal as far as due diligence. My experience was nothing but stellar, William and the team at Kenwood in Rockville are amazing. I had a rear fender bender on a model x that required paint blending and they did an excellent job to get it to look like new! Highly recommend the team and their work.

Once again in and out autobody did a great job for me. Somebody hit my Explorer in a parking lot in North Carolina, and of course left no note. Brought it to in and out and let them know I was hoping to have it back before a trip to Florida this week. Dropped it off on Wednesday, had a call from Luiz on Friday evening letting me know the car was done! Looks great, as always. I have used in and out auto body since the 1980s, through four different vehicles. They have always done a great work, I continue to recommend them without hesitation to all of my friends. Give them a try, you Will not be disappointed!

They did a fabulous job! I had an work done in the past by other auto body companies and they do not compare to the serviceprovided by In & Out Auto Body. They were complete professionals and attentive to the details of the work. The paint job matchedperfectly! Definitely will use them again if I need any auto body repair work.

First, it looks like 16 years old obnoxious teenager did my estimate . After waiting for two month call them to discover that they did not even put me on their waiting list. Waited for the repair shop for another three month only to discover that they don t plan to do anything for another two month. Will never use them again. Funny thing is after a week this being posted nobody contacted me. I guess they don't care about what people think about their service.Service: Painting

In & Out is a preferred shop by State Farm and I chose them because they were very well rated and would be most convenient to deal with for the insurance claim.All in all this was probably the best experience with automotive repair that I have had. There were 4 adjoining panels involved and the repair is invisible, absolutely indistinguishable from new. The paint match is perfect. Not much more to say. If you love your auto and it has body damage, take it here. They will do a fantastic job.

My mechanic, who I think is terrific, referred me to In and Out Autobody. I went in with an older pickup truck. They recommended basic repairs to restore the truck since it is old. I was thrilled with how everything turned out. The truck looks like it was never in an accident and In and Out saved me money. I appreciated their honesty and the quality of the work. My co-worker just took his vehicle to In and Out because my truck turned out nice.

I took my Tesla in for estimates in mid-October. It took a month for them to get the parts. Once they started the repairs, they recognized that they forgot a part and it took another several weeks to get that. Following that, it was almost another 2 months to finish the repairs. They even screwed up the battery and had to send the car to the Tesla service center to have that fixed, which required more days. Throughout the process I received less than three unprompted calls - I had to call *them* for updates. At the end of the process they charged what they said they would, and claimed there was an "aluminum" discount (yeah, right). Avoid this "facility" at all costs!

Great service - the people (I'm sorry I forgot your names I'm really bad with names) there were extremely friendly. I had a minor rust repair done on my roof and they did it exactly how I wanted it done. But one thing I'd appreciate is please just clean up the little mess of shoe marks left on minor works (Photo attached. the floor mat is messy due to all the rain - excuse that). It was very frustrating but I understand the car didn't go through detailing for this minor work. Thanks you for the great repair tho! I'll definitely come back in the future.

Staff is amazing!! I always love coming here even if its for an estimate. They are quick and attentive. Jonathan the service writer is amazing. Anything i needed he delivered. Reccomend 1000 percent! Plus the lobby is clean and sanitized all day. Love it!
