My experience has always been fantastic. He was able to get my car done in great time and always upfront about what repairs are needed. I highly recommend this shop and mean highly recommend.

Great place for car repair, the technician is honest about the work to do. He explains in details the cost to the clients and makes a lot of options. Knowledgeable . Fast. Friendly. Best pricing. I'm only upset I didn't know about them sooner. Will return for car care.Update: I went back and didn't go thru with service. To be fair, leadership is honest about the work and has better than average pricing for that particular area but not the absolute best pricing. That's ok though because it's important to have relationship with multiple mechanics shops so you'll know where the expertise differs and you can have choices depending on what you need.

I have brought a couple vehicles here for state inspection and other regular jobs such as brakes. Having the O2 sensor replaced on my Acura RL last year was the best experience though, and way more affordable here. I'm bringing my car back to them again this week for brakes because of the fast service and great prices.

They charged me too much just to change a light in the back of my car. It did not even take him 2 mins to fix it but decided to charge me too much. I would not recommend.Service: Vehicle InspectionService: Vehicle Inspection

I had a good experience at Karnon Automotive. Went in for vehicle inspection for my new used car. They were able to schedule me the same day and had it done in an hour. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and the price was right. What more do you need?

You can t go wrong with Karnon. Honestly, I m a college student driving a rather expensive vehicle- and I tend to get taken for a fool by car repairmen. But in the case of Karnon, I ve never felt like he was screwing me over- in fact he has told me on multiple occasions that I don t need things done/replaced- even when I came in fully expecting they needed to be repaired.On one occasion, I needed my brakes, rotors, and rear shock replaced- but they all needed to be done in one day because I needed my car the rest of the week. It was a large project especially on a car with air suspension- but Karnon stayed until 7pm to make sure my car was finished. He is a man of his word.I refer everyone I know to him- because he will always give you the best deal for quality work. I moved up here a couple years ago and of course I didn't know a good mechanic. I don't usually trust mechanics, especially at chain companies, and I used to do most maintenance stuff myself. Karnon is a good guy though and I definitely trust him to do a good job, plus he won't try to sell you services you don't need.

Bumped into this shop when the shop next to it had to cancel my appointment. Very honest, simple, straight forward, and trustworthy guy. First visit but everything was smooth. Shop is small but very walkable to Rockville town center, bus stop, and metro. Very down to earth guy and you will be happy to meet him. I am glad I found this guy.

Excellent Shop. The owner explained everything to me about what was going on with my Van. The price was extremely reasonable and unlike most shops that try to take advantage of you and try to say it s a million things wrong just to make money. They called to update you on the status and what was going on. If you want an honest, affordable shop. This is the BEST PLACE to go!!!!!

I pulled into this place at 5:15 on a Friday with zero coolant, an overheated engine, AND my toddler in the back seat. I'd driven to the closet mechanic I could find while praying to avoid the car exploding on the road. Karnon was warm and welcoming. He hoped to just get me some coolant and send me on my way, but quickly showed me that it was way too overheated for that. He finished my car (new thermostat, water pump, and timing belt--was time for that anyway) by Monday around 1pm which was exactly when he told me it would be ready. The estimate he gave me Saturday AM was exactly right.The thing that made the biggest impression on me was his customer service. He helped me lug my daughter's car seat and stroller into the shop and then into our cab. He held her hand as we walked into his waiting room. He even ran a couple blocks to the metro station in the RAIN to grab a cab for us when the one he called would take 30 minutes to arrive. I would have waited, but he refused! He said, "Oh no, I'll get you one right away!"Then when we picked the car up, he changed the oil on my husband's car quickly and without an appointment. This place is low-frills, I'd plan to hang out in downtown Rockville if you're waiting for your car. But I couldn't be happier with the work done on my car and the customer service I received.He's genuinely happy to work on your car and take care of you and wants to do exactly what you need--no more, no less.

I went to Karnon to inspect my 2007 malibu that real drove bad before i went there. He first failed the car because it was not safe but after we agreed on the repairs this car is amazing and I feel as safe as if I am in a new car. Thank you Karnon for carring about the community and their safety

Karnon is a great mechanic. Have had to work with him on a difficult truck and he's always been flexible and does not upcharge a lot of extra stuff like other mechanics

Call to see what was the best time to get my car inspected. He told me what time to be there. Once I got there I was in and out within a hour. Great experience.
