I brought my 1965 Mustang Fastback race car into Iron Mike's Garage because I was having a shifting issue with my transmission. Not only were they able to save me thousands of dollars as opposed to me taking it to any other shop, but they were able to correctly diagnose the problem on the first visit. I traveled from Northern Virginia with my car and this was the 1st time I brought a car to Iron Mike's, and I am please to say that they treat customers like family, so I would recommend this shop to anyone, especially those with Vintage or Classic Automobiles. Thank you Iron Mike's for great service!!

Working with Mike was great, honest and fair and did a great job. He installed the new Atlas 4-speed transfer case in my 2001 Jeep Wrangler and it works amazing! Quality work, kept me informed the during the whole process, and honest. Cannot recommend higher!

Mike takes time to talk to you and is very good at finding parts for older classic cars. Prices are reasonable and work is done with knowledgeable Mechanics. They go above and beyond to gain your business.If you have a classic car you can trust that they will take good care of you.Highly recommended

The best Hot-Rod shop in the area. Mike knows his stuff. I've seen some truly beautiful cars roll out of his shop. If you want someone to build you a Hot Rod, or maintain what you already have, Mike is the guy. Super honest and straightforward guy.Mike is also a licenced FFL gun dealer. Great prices and personal services. Hot rods and guns, what a combo!

Installed 4.10 rear gears in my 2007 Mustang GT. Was very professional and trustworthy. His work was exceptional. Attention to detail in his work is evident. A perfect installation, as if the gears came in the car from the factory. I Highly recommend Iron Mikes Garage.

Was looking for a shop to handle my bespoke project car, initially to build a dual exhaust w/ x tube. They were very comfortable with my car and built the exhaust in about two days. They also tuned the carb while they had it. Looks, sounds, and feels very good. I've also asked them to do a few oddball jobs and they haven't hesitated. They've pointed out things I've missed and have given me advice on how to correct the issues myself rather than paying them to do it, that is awesome customer service. Great guys there, can't recommend them enough.

Nowadays, it is really hard to find a mechanic that is skillful, honest, and reasonably priced. I am glad to see Mike is such a mechanic. I brought my Mustang to his shop to diagnose a differential noise issue. This is an issue that several mechanics had no clue. Mike quickly isolated the source of the problem and fixed it for me at a price that was very reasonable. I ended up saving a ton of money by not having to replace a lot of parts.I think Mike works on all types of cars. What amazes me is that his knowledge and expertise on sports cars is a lot better than many so-called sports shops.

While the people are friendly and very personable the work leaves much to be desired. I paid 10k to this shop and I have had nothing but problems since getting my car back. I haven't even been able to put 50 miles on it before it broke. I called back up there 3 times and was pretty much told that they had nothing to do with what happened however I could bring it back but would have to pay more to get it fixed. Now it's at another shop getting fixed...again. Be Weary

Iron Mike's is a great place! They did a very good job on my 1966 Mustang and are very responsive. If you have a classic car, this is the garage for you!

So I call around trying to find a top notch mechanic to change out the factory 2.73 gear to a 3.73 gear in my new 2014 Mustang. I called 4 shops in the greater Maryland area. The 4th call was to Iron Mike's Garage. After an excellent conversation with Mike I decided to go with him. BEST DECISION I ever made regarding auto work. Upon arrival, I immediately discovered this had to be a great garage based on the show cars that he was working on, not to mention the classic cars being restored. When it came to my project, not only was the work impeccable, but he also took pictures while the work was being performed. Then, at no charge, he painted my rear axle black so it would look better (which it does). He told me to come back after 500 miles to check the gear to confirm there were no iron filings in the fluid and when I returned after 5000 miles, he let me stand there and watch him as he checked it. He took his time and carefully rubbing his finger inside the differential to make sure there were no small pieces in the gear box (after examining the exiting fluid). Then he very skillfully cleaned and sanded the plate that was removed, gingerly installed a new gasket, bolted on the plate, filled the differential with fluid and told me to test drive.Iron Mike is one of the best garages I have ever been to in my 50+ years of dealing with mechanics. This is by far a hidden jewel tucked away in Rockville. He does everything from oil changes to very custom work. And why is he so good? 1) His knowledge about automobiles is uncanny. 2) He treats every car as if it is his own. 3) He treats all his employees like family. 4) He is honest. 5) He loves cars and it shows. 6) He only wants happy customers.But the key word about Mike is TRUST! You can trust your car to Mike. And isn't that what you want when you take your car in for service?

Mike is a super nice guy with a lot of experience and a good staff. Aside from being in a really convenient location, he has a lot of patience and willingness to get the job done right. Iron Mike's all the way.

We just move to Rockville area and we didn t know any shop around, after purchasing a part with Napa we ask them if they recommend any shop around they recommend Iron Mike Garage , we have the job done on our 2014 Ram 3500 for half the price other shop had appraised. Kirk and Rose were very professional and helpful, they went above and beyond in repair my teuck as fast was possible. Thank you guys very much for your service.

This is a very well run company and they are very good at what they do. Mike and Jason are great! They did a very thorough job on my '70 GTO. I won't trust anyone else to work on my car.

Had some kind of break in my exhaust pipe. Took it somewhere else initially for an estimate, then took it here and they fixed it for SO much less than what the first place would have. The owner is so friendly too, and the work is high quality. Highly recommend!!!

From the moment you walk in to Iron Mike's you just now you're in good hands. Deb runs the front of the shop cheerfully and professionally. There's usually doughnuts or some other goodies on the front counter. Trooper is the company mascot and is always there with a friendly tail wag and a sniff. Ilya and Rudy turn the daily wrenches with competence and skill. They're always happy to show you exactly what's going on with your ride. Then there's Iron Mike himself. This guy must be a very "Old Soul". He has more automotive knowledge stuffed into his head than I can fathom. He knows factoids about arcane automotive trivia that are just mind boggling. If you want to know how many valve cover hold down bolts there are on a '49 Humbley Pudge Turnpike Cruiser he can tell you right off of the top of his head.As well as performing regular maintenance and repairs on daily drivers Mike also is truly talented at restoration of classic cars and hot rods. There's always some cool cars over on the B side of the shop. Above all else Mike and the gang have integrity to spare. They are honest and straightforward and always go above and beyond with customer service. I'm truly impressed and that's a rare thing for me.

Nice folks but horrible service spent a few thousand dollars and not really sure what value as things fixed are still an issue. Disappointing since they are close.
