AVOID GILI'S!!! I used this shop for a pre-purchase state inspection and they failed to notice that the entire parking brake assembly was missing. The e-brake inspection is a two part test, so obviously they cut corners, did not perform either test, and passed it anyways. They also did a faulty repair on the power steering lines which now fails inspection. I am left paying $3,000 additional to fix these issues. Tell your friends this place is not trustworthy.

Best experience I've ever had at any service center! The staff is polite and friendly. I called in and got an appointment the same day for a motorcycle inspection. They got me in and out. It felt like I was only there for 10 minutes! 10/10 I recommend to family and friends.

A neighbor introduced us to Gilis many years ago, and we have taken our vehicles out there over time. They not only do great work, but they are honest and very responsive. Mike who works the front desk and interacts with the customers is extremely helpful and friendly.New or old, they keep our cars running. Highly recommend them.

I ve been a client of Gillis Automotive for several years. Gilli and his team are not only extremely knowledgeable but also precise. Unlike other shops Gillis and his team will find the actual issue and correct it as opposed to throwing parts and hoping. They have earned the title of one of the best mechanic shops in the DMV, with excellent customer service and follow up confirmation of issue resolution.

I was very happy with the prompt and efficient service to remove a nail and patch my tire. Everyone was friendly, there was good communication, and the price seemed reasonable. I will definitely bring my car back when it needs service again!

I went to this place to get Maryland safety inspection by looking at good google reviews. But had terrible experience. They tried to rip me off by giving 2400 dollar unnecessary maintenance bill. Then I went to an another mechanic shop and they passed my car and told me nothing is wrong with your vehicle. I replaced my brake pads and rotors few months ago but these people thought I am a person with zero mechanical knowledge and tried to scam me. I have saved both reports with me as a reminder for myself not to get scammed in futures. Also they charged me 100 dollars for an oil change which is expensive side but I was kind of okay with that. Do not recommend at all and will not go again ever.

Went in for a state inspection on my newer model car. Failed me due to rear windshield wiper streaking and a tiny bit of metal showing on my brake pedal, the one I step on inside the car. $115. Just be aware this is the kind of mechanic you are dealing with. Digging around for any reason to fail your safety inspection. Even for non mechanical issues. Joke. Find yourself a decent neighborhood mechanic.

I am new to Maryland and went to Gili s Automotive to have the state inspection done. Everyone there was so incredibly kind and helpful. I will 100% be going back to Gili s and would definitely recommend to my friends and family. The services were very reasonably priced and the staff walked me through everything that they were doing. 5-star experience! Thank you!

The guy who picked up the phone on Monday March 18th is rude and has horrible customer service. All these fake bots review this business is paying for a 5 star review is phony as hell. Take your money else where, this business will not thrive because of horrible customer service.

I went to Gili's Automotive for the Maryland state inspection. The inspection only took an hour to be completed, and the price was reasonable. I would recommend others to do the inspection here.

Great service for they were able to diagnose the engine shut-off issue with my BMW-X1. Turnaround time was fabulous, and the price was very reasonable and actually less than initially quoted!Very polite and friendly staff who took time to explain the work done on my car.

I have been taking my vehicles to Gili's Automotive for over 15 years. And, I have NEVER been disappointed. Well, when I tried to go somewhere else on the cheap or for convenience, it usually didn't go well and right back to Gili's I went to get everything set right again! Gili told me this the first day I brought my vehicle in for repair, 'we won't be the cheapest but we will always work to be the best.' He may not be the cheapest but he's saved me hundreds over the dealership, and the repairs actually kept my vehicles in tip-top shape! Seriously, run don't walk! Your car will love you for it!

I've been using Gili's for over 15 years now, and have nothing but good things to say about this place! Starting with the mechanics (Erica to mention one) to Mike at the front desk to Gili, this place is professional, highly knowledgeable, honest and never cuts corners. I've been bringing my personal vehicles here, friends and family and also my company vehicles. If you are looking for an honest and uncompromising place to take care of your baby from mechanical issues to full body-work restoration, then this is the best place in the area - for sure!Services: Transmission, Electrical, Wheel alignment, Brakes, A/C installation & repair, Battery

the guy on the phone was very rude when i wanted to ask a question and I was trying to clarify my situation with my windshield he continued to say i m trying to tell you something you re not listening but i was just trying to clarify and he had a lot of attitude. i ended up not even going here because the guy is rude

Recently moved to Maryland and contacted Gili's for an MD inspection. They were friendly, courteous and were able to schedule me quickly. I had an item that needed to be address and they made the reinspection super easy.I have now lived in the area for 3 years and continue to go to them!

The guy at the desk was not very professional when there was miscommunication about the lastest they take in vehicles for inspections... he blamed me instead of acknowledging the miscommunication...after I drove 20 minutes to come to the garage.

Honest and detailed car workshop! I have a VW Passat that I had always taken to the dealer since I bough it new in 2007. It had a leak in 2020 that was difficult to fix even at the dealer s shop - Gili s figured it out faster and cheaper! I've been taking my cars to Gili's for over 15 years. They do a good job of giving an in-depth analysis of what ails my vehicle and then recommend what needs to happen. If some work can be put off to a later date, they tell me that as well. The staff is very courteous and trustworthy. I always feel I'm getting the straight truth about the condition of my vehicle when I bring it to Gili's.

Just had the regular check up at 72k miles.Good service, didn t try to fix anything that wasn t broken. That is the One Thing about this place, they don t try to run up your bill by doing stuff that doesn t need to be done.
