I want to let others know of our experience buying a used vehicle from Fitzgerald Rockville. Both our salesman, Mr Jay, as well as the service department, specially Peter, were super helpful, professional and a pleasure to talk to.One very important thing about our buying experience is that this was a used car, with quite a few miles on it, and of course had a couple of small issues. After pointing these things out, they took care of them, and now I am the happy owner of a great used Subaru Forester, that I plan to drive for many years.Congratulations to Mr Fitzgerald for doing business the right way, and for keeping the customer happy with their purchases. This is how it should be done everywhere, unfortunately that is not the case these days...Five stars to Fitzgerald Auto Malls, for service, price and their staff.

UPDATED: The Fitzgerald team promptly reached out to try to resolve this issue and make things right. They offered to arrange a time at our convenience to test drive the car and figure out the issue.I will begin by saying that our interactions with the service team are always courteous, and they have really gone out of their way to make sure we have had loaner cars, etc. when our car is being serviced. The team is usually able to schedule an appointment promptly when issues arise.That said, we have spent months trying to resolve a number of gremlin issues in our Palisade (including an engine replacement, issues with temperature sensors) and I get the sense that Hyundai's corporate strategy is to resist warranty repairs at all cost. Getting a new engine after numerous oil consumption tests was a partial victory, but we have a persistent transmission issue (a palpable "thump" between low gears) that is evident each time the car is driven, but we have been repeatedly told there is no issue. (As my wife said, if she noticed the issue, then a mechanic would.) We paid for a new tie rod as a suggested fix, but the transmission thump remains. We still have 40,000 miles on the warranty, but that's little reassurance if we're told there is no issue (especially after having to press for the engine replacement).The worst part is that we loved the car when it ran well! And the Fitzgerald team is friendly. But there's no service team nice enough that I want to see them 7 or 8 times in just a few months. If Hyundai is asking folks to pay more premium prices for their cars, they have to be more committed to solving these issues when they arise at only 60,000 miles.

One of the best if not the best experience I ve had at a car dealership. Starting with the online experience booking my appointment, to being greeted as soon as I pulled into the parking lot of the service center, everything was great. I worked with Chris Moran and he was tremendous. Didn t try to have me purchase services I didn t need and was able to answer all my questions without missing a beat. As I shared with him, Chris is the reason I will be bringing my SUV to Fitzgerald moving forward. His service was impeccable.

Matt helped us take a look at the new 2024 Hyundai Palisade calligraphy night edition. Knowledgeable from the beginning to end! Doing a test drive was very easy and quick. We still had a few other options for cars and told him we weren t sure if this was the car for us. He was not pushy at all. He did not make me feel pressured. Matt was very professional. We ended up leaving our license at the dealer and had to go back. When we returned, we decided it was the right car for us and the customer service was great!

Larry did a great job. When I called and asked to test drive, he had the car waiting for us. Price was fair for the new car and for the trade in. He wasnt pushy, very knowledgeable, and we were comfortable with process. Really like the car we got.

PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! I AM BEGGING YOU! FOR ALL THAT IS HOLY AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP LIKE THE BLACK PRAGUE!! They will keep your car for months and not touch it. They will give you the run around while not working on your car, they will not pick up the phone, and if you question them on if they are even doing anything the service advisor will get furious and yell at your for want to know the progress on your car. They arw rude and do not care one bit about you or your car. They act like they are doing you a favor, like they are not getting paid for the work. If you call to talk to the manager, they will not listen to you, they will just repeat the nonsense that the service advisor is giving you. DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP. I am going on 2 months without my car for a problem that really should have been solved in a couple of weeks. I am at my wits end dealing with them and not getting anywhere. My next step is reporting them to the Maryland Better Business Bureau. At this point I've been going back on forth with them so much I'm scared that they might do something to mess with my car.

I never thought I would utter the words I had a great time with I went car shopping. Mike was incredibly helpful, very good at explaining all the modern features (my old car was from 2003, and its innovations were limited to automatic transmission, and power steering, windows and door locks), and has a great sense of humor). I felt confident that I was buying the right car for me.Everyone else I interacted with was also friendly and helpful. A far cry from the days of hard sell tactics!

My experience at Fitzgerald Hyundai was very positive. I was greeted quickly by Evan Fabish who listened to what I was looking for and immediately arranged my test drive. Although he explained very well all the features and technical capabilities of the vehicle, I had some difficulties in remembering everything. He was very patient and assured me that he would answer any questions or do more demonstrations as needed. I returned for more demos and bought the car, then returned a few days later for more help. Evan was wonderfully informative and patient. I feel comfortable knowing that he is there to support me, and will recommend him and Fitzgerald to others.

This was by far the best experience i have had at a dealership! from when i walked in to all the smiling faces when i left, customer service is so top tier and they really care about your needs and wants.
