This place is completely a scam.I had a few weeks of driving experience after my car was repaired.They replaced my front bumper, left side fender, left side suspension, some brake fluid hose, and the new left wheel, which includes a new rim, a new rotator, a new caliper, and new brake pads.First of all, this place took my old rim and tire and didn't give me anything back, so this place stole my money from me.Then, when they give me my car back, the front bumper and the hood have a big gap; somehow, they think that is a well-done repair and hand my car back to me. The first time I went back to this place, they told me they did their best; they couldn't do anything more than that, and it would not be as good as a factory car because this is just a body shop. They were not happy that I showed up, and they just put something to lift the front bumper up.The second time, I went back to tell them I felt this hood was going to be lifted up to smash my windowshied after I did a test drive on the highway.Finally, the third time I went back for the same issue, they checked again, and they found out there were some problems with it, which they did not discover during the inspection before repairing.My hood alignment is still not that good, but at least it wouldn't smash my windows after that.The front left fender parts have a corner missing painting; it got fixed after I went back the first time.They said they use all original parts from Mopar, but my left wheel has metal-on-metal scraching sounds, and this new rotator is way more rusty than the left side (the one from the dealership). Rust is all over my left side rim.Overall, I think this place is not professional and a huge scam. Parts I got from this place got really bad quality. my insurance, and I spent more than 7.6k dollars, and this is what I got. The craziest thing is that this is a certified body shop. I chose this place just because it is a certified body shop, by the results, I probably can get a way cheaper price from somewhere else.BTW, the same day I picked up my car, a driver picked up his car. After being repaired, he found out his backup camera doesn't work anymore. LOL

Everyone there was great and professional. It was raining a lot when my car was ready for pickup. The shop allowed me to pull Mt rental car in the bay with my vehicle to unload from the rental into my SUV. They went above and beyond. Just remember to always call the shop and not rely on the text messages they send. It is never accurate and you will need to call for proper updates

Mike Dean s inability to do his job caused extended delays on my repair. He does not return calls, manage parts orders, or even be bothered to verify repairs are completed before saying the vehicle is ready for pickup. I will never buy from DarCars after this experience and I will never purchase another Polestar as DarCars is the only approved repair shop in the DMV area. His incompetence is unacceptable.

I m happy to share my experience regarding Darcars Collision Center of Rockville in Maryland. Their skilled mechanics did an excellent job on my Toyota RAV4, ensuring it runs smoothly after an accident. The friendly front desk staff made the whole process pleasant. Highly recommended!

James is amazing !! , great customer service and i have been in customer service work industry for 20 years . James go above and beyond in his job and take great pride in the work he does and the way he treats his customers , he walk me threw everything need to be done with painting of my 2016 Toyota Camry which he painted pearl white ..called me a informed me of updates on my car threw out the whole process of getting my car painted .. and when he was finish my car was absolutely beautiful he did a great and outstanding job ..i would definitely recommend James and ask for him ..thank you so much JamesService: Painting

DO NOT TRUST DARCARS. I will try to sum up this experience as best as I can, but I will start with saying the vehicle is still sitting in their shop.8/14-truck was towed to collision center-took about 2-3 weeks for insurance to come out to process the claim-not their fault, everyone was understandingWeek of 9/25 James told us it would be ready in 2 weeksWeek of 10/9 James told us it would be ready in 2 weeksWeek of 10/20 James told us it would be ready in 2 weeks10/31 I made a visit. When I asked if the truck would be ready in 3 days as told 1 1/2 weeks prior, James immediately responded with "Oh, it will not be ready this week, but I will have it ready next week! We are working on it." James clearly thought that would be a good enough response. I continued with how for 6 weeks we've been told "2 weeks" and he said he knows, but will have it next week. I asked to see the truck. His response "I don't know where it is." I told him to find it. Once I saw the truck, it was laughable. He then told me they JUST got the bumper off yesterday (10/30) and they have not had time to work on it. How was the truck suppose to be ready 4 weeks ago if you JUST took the bumper off yesterday. (front end damage it was very clear the bumper and hood were involved) I asked to speak with the manager at that time. The manager was helpful with listening and said he would look into this and get back to me that day. We spoke later and he explained how things are back ordered, etc. All of these things would be much more understandable if James had not been dishonest this entire time. I told the manager he needed to find a better solution as this was unacceptable. The manager was in touch the next couple days giving updates and all was seeming to be on the right track. 11/2 they received the parts and would start painting. 11/7 we spoke that it was going for alignment the next day and we would touch base then. 11/8 I received no call, and my message was not returned. 11/9 I called 3 times before he was available to speak. They were not able to complete the alignment due to the spare tire being on the truck, they had ordered a new one and have hopes to put it through alignment tomorrow 11/10. This is where we are. The same spare tire that has been sitting on the truck for almost 90 days now, they JUST decided to order. I had no words and got off the phone. The dishonesty and lack of awareness is unbelievable. How do you take pride in your work? I will update this review once the truck is actually complete, at this rate I do not have high expectations.UPDATE: I was told by management on 11/10 that the truck passed alignment and will be ready to pick up 11/13 or 11/14 at the latest. When I called 11/14 to get an ETA, I was told by James they were still waiting for a part and it would be ready next week. I went to speak with the manager in person. I told him the truck needed picked up by Friday and they have to figure it out. We picked up the truck that Friday 11/17. The keys were given back by the front desk and that was it. During all my visits I always saw James or the manager speaking with clients as they picked up their cars and going over everything to make sure things were correct. No one came out to do this process. The truck was left with the gas light on, looking back on receipts it was filled up a couple days prior to the accidents so it should have had more gas than that. The rain guard on the passenger window is gone, this was not damaged with the accident so I am unsure what happened with that. As the truck was being driven away, the manager came out to make sure everything looked good.Overall, the manager did his best to make a bad situation better; however, he was just attempting to cover up all the mistakes that had been done. The entire experience was unacceptable and we will never return.

Our estimator, Theluji, and the receptionists were very frustrating to work with. I dropped my van off on a Thursday evening and by the following Tuesday I still hadn't been updated or contacted. I called to check on the status. First, the receptionist answered the phone with, "Hello?". This happened several times and really lacks professionalism. I was then told that my estimator, Luji, wasn't available and that he would call me back. He did not call me back so I called again the next day. I was told again that he was not available and that he would call me back. He did not call me back.I called again the next day just before closing and I finally got him on the phone. He told me he was waiting to get it on the lift because the insurance said I had ran over something. I told him that was not the case. He tells me that since he now doesn't have to get it on the lift, he will have the work done tomorrow (Friday). I say, great!Friday, he never contacts me. Saturday I call, he's not available- they say he will call me back, he doesn't call me back.Finally, after they have had my van for 10 days, I go to the place myself since calling is rather useless at this point. He tells me they ordered the wrong part and that he could have gotten away with leaving it in, as I probably wouldn't have noticed, but he didn't. (Like he was doing me a favor) I said I needed the van by Saturday as we were going out of town for spring break. He says the new part is coming and it will be done on Friday and if it's not he will make sure it is drivable and that we can take it and bring it back after the trip. I call Friday and he's not available, they say he will call me back. He doesn't call me back. I call his office line and someone answers, "Hello?""I'm trying to reach Luji?""Oh, he's in his office.""Ok, can I have his office number please?""This is his office.""But you just said..."This is the kind of ridiculousness we were dealing with.I called again and he wasn't available. He called me back that day around 2p- the first time he ever did so- and told me they were finishing it up.We showed up at closing time (around 5:30p) and he said it will be ready in an hour and a half. My husband stayed and waited 3 hours to get our van! And, it still wasn't done! The airbag sensor needed to be checked and we settled on having to bring it back after our trip to complete the work. Absolutely terrible communication and non existent customer service. This while process would have been much smoother if he had been honest with me about the timeline and made even a tiny effort at communication. If it was going to take 2 weeks, tell me two weeks- you know?

I was involved in a hit & run incident so I filed a claim through my insurance and this was one of recommended places. Being Darcars is a reputable place or so I thought I decided to go with them. First of all it's really hard to get in contact with anyone there to find out the status of your vehicle. Second my car was late as they promised. Third my earpods that were in my car is missing. I will give them 2 stars cause they did do the job but was it really worth all that hassle and being a victim of theft as well?I called the number at the bottom and waited for over a week for them to get back to me and they still didn't do anything. They will just pretend to care about you and your issues but nothing will happen. Thanks Darcars for putting me through the charade.

russian guy think he s manager shouldnot be in customer service. has my wife driving around faulty airbags and refusing to fix it so the insurance company going back and forth with this guy he is very rude save yourself the trouble and do not take your car here.

The front desk girls are clueless at their job. First they say wrong payment. We had to clarify the document calling the insurance. Then they bring the wrong car. Then they say sorry car is not ready. Repai was good but service was bad

Overall - great experience and great work! When arriving, everything was straight forward as far as the check-in/check-out process. The front desk was in contact with my rental company as soon as I was processed and was able to be shuttled over to get a rental car.The people they have there are great and are very flexible, I left something in my car and called in and was able to get it.Best part was that my car looked even better than it did prior to the accident that prompted my repair and my car was ready a week earlier than the original ETA.Hopefully I don't have to comeback but if I do, I'm in good hands.

They keep missing their deadline. Every week it's going to take another week for the car to get repaired, always with some excuse. They never call you to tell they are late, you have to keep calling them. I wish I had used a different body shop.I m updating the review because it somehow got worse! They called me to pick up my car and the doors are not working. Also no one was here to handle me the car. They had the front desk rudely handle me the key. I have a 400 bill from the additional rental day, a door that doesn t work and they can t even say they are sorry. This place is a bad joke. Stay away.

My car had an accident at the back side, and I took it to Darcars nissan Collusion Center. They fixed it, but they damaged the original windshild and replaced it with the aftermarket windshild. I was extremely upset during that time, but they told me that it has a lifetime warranty. However, the windshild had defects and cracked while it was at the parking garage. I contacted them in person and via phone (contacted the collusion center manager and the receptionists), but they told me that they couldn't replace the windshild because it was okay for more than 12 months. I was disappointed with them when they damaged the original windshild, and when they cheated me again last Monday. it's the worst collusion center. They did not keep their promises!

I went to this collision center after reading great things about James and I was not disappointed! James explains everything in detail and gives really great advice. He really cares about his customers and wants to fix cars the right way. If you work with James, you will receive terrific customer service. Can t recommend this place enough

Excellent paint job and great customer service! Front desk has been helpful and James Yu has stayed in touch and provided status frequently. I had the rear bumper of my car fixed and painted. It turned out well. Later in the the day that I picked up the car I found out the rear light bulb is burned out. I went back and James replaced the light bulb with no charge.Service: Body & Trim

In November 2021 a driver ran into the side of my car causing damage to the body and knocking of the left mirror. I wasn't sure where to go for repairs but figured that a Toyota dealership would have the best access to supplies, so I made an appointment at Darcars Collision Center. From the first moment I arrived, I knew I had made the right decision! An employee in the parking lot saw me struggling to clean the snow off my car and offered some gentle advice and support (Thelugi Prather). I was warmly greeted at the Front Desk (Raisa). Later, I had multiple conversations with James Yu regarding my car, the repairs, and frustrations in working with the other driver's insurance company. James educated me and helped me to understand the process and what I should expect. He stayed in regular contact and kept me updated on the progress of the repairs. When I asked to speak to James' Supervisor to thank him for the excellent service, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that it was none other than Thelugi! What an amazing team. I do not know much about cars. This team made a challenging and extremely inconvenient situation so simple! May car repairs were excellent! I am very pleased with the results. Wow! The staff couldn't have been more helpful and professional. We had rear bumper damage and the work the collision center performed was the best I have ever experienced from a body shop. The paint job was perfect - our car looks brand new! Thanks to the manager, Tony, and his staff, we were also back on the road quickly! To top it all off, the price was great too! I 100% recommend DARCARS Collision Center!

Amazing experience! The body work took only a few days and the work was perfect! The staff kept me informed every step of the way about the status of parts, painting, inspection, and settlement of the claim. Much better than my experiences with other body shops! The put my car back together in perfect condition!!!!! I dropped off my nissan with DARCARS for a bumper and tail light repair. I'm not great with cars, but I know they had to completely replace the bumper and realign my trunk. I had scratched paint on the side of my car as well that they repainted. I was BEYOND relieved that they were able to match the new paint to the existing paint color! Even went above and beyond and cleaned the inside of my car as well! It looked just like new and drived just as smooth (I have the sports model). I went through my insurance and they collaborated well together. Kept me up to date the whole way through. I couldn't drop off my car until after they ordered and received the car parts though. So, depending on the damage, you may have to pay your deductible upfront and leave before you drop it off. In my case, I came in and gave them my insurance claim, paid my deductible that day, but had to leave and come back about 3 days later when they called to let me know the parts had arrived. Also, my adjuster told me that the repairs would only take about 3 days, but my car was in the shop for about 2 and half weeks. Apparently the bumper was delayed in shipping or something like that. But I guess once the bumper did arrive everything was smooth sailing because I was able to pick my car about two days later

Since the moment I took my Corolla for repairs due to a deer hit over 3 weeks ago, the shop contacted me via email and explained what was gona be the process and the timeframe for repairs. James kept me in the loop of all that needed to happen. And when my car was ready, he walked me through everything that was done. Repairs were even finished a week earlier than anticipated!!! I took my 2008 Prius back to the Collision Center because the paint on the front corner panel had faded (done about 8 years ago). Not only did Tony do the job for free, but he also gave me a rental car! Though he said the job would take 2 days, it was done in one and looks terrific. The receptionist and rental person were also efficient and very friendly. I highly recommend this business!

I cannot begin to express my gratitude for the level of professionalism, transparency in communication and support Darcars Collision provided me during my recent claim- specifically by my estimator/contact, Ramiro G. My car was stolen and I had to go through a claim with my insurance provider for the repairs, and Ramiro made the entire experience seamless, simple and was clearly always on the customer s side. My car required an extensive amount of bodywork repairs, and Ramiro kept me up to date throughout the entire experience. I discovered a few issues following the initial repairs, which were due to insurance and not the body shop, and Ramiro immediately followed up and contacted the insurance company on my behalf. I strongly recommend this shop due to everything the above but also because of how simple, honest and supportive they were through the entire experience. Thank you, Ramiro, and Darcars Collision! Very nice staff. Lady in front office seems to have a hard time focusing on what she was supposed to be doing, had to go up to her desk and remind her I needed a quote and someone was out to give me one almost instantly. Once my car was looked at I got a quote pretty quick. Will update if I choose to get repairs done by them.
