Do not bring your vehicles to this shop. I ve brought two different vehicles here to get Katzkin leather seats installed, and the quality of the work they provide is not worth the $1700+ price tag they charge. The first vehicle I brought here was a 2023 Subaru WRX over the summer, and the second vehicle was a 2018 Silverado last month.After the Subaru was completed, I wasn t completely satisfied with the seats, but I spoke with Steve, and he said to just let it sit in the summer heat, and it would work out all the creases and make the leather conform more to the seat. I ended up waiting, and the leather progressively got worse and did not end up conforming more to the seat as he said it would. I then decided to upgrade and get a larger vehicle, and I picked up a 2018 Silverado this past November. I decided to give this company a second chance at working on my vehicle, so on November 13th, I dropped my Silverado off to transition from cloth seats to leather, utilizing the same Katzkin company for leather covers.The seat covers that I decided to go with were non-perforated seat covers. I received my vehicle back with perforated seat covers, and Steve s response was that when he ordered it in the system, it said that it came perforated like that from the factory (I called Katzkin, and they confirmed it did not). Regardless, initially it looked great, but I could tell that they did not use a heat gun or steam on the seats to get any of the creases out as an upholstery shop would. It literally looked like they just took the covers out of the box and placed them on the seats. I asked Steve about it, and his response was the same as before. I gave the seats two weeks, and they progressively began to get worse, just like my Subaru did. I went to another upholstery shop for a second opinion, and they said that foam should ve been placed between the new cover and the seat base, and it was also missing parts that would tighten the cover up closer to the seat for a more tight and exact fit.On 11/28/2023, I contacted Katzkin directly, providing photos of not only the first vehicle, my Subaru, but the Silverado as well, and they immediately referred me to a shop in Virginia, sent them a brand new set of seat covers (non-perforated like I originally requested), and covered the cost of labor to replace them for me. I will never bring another vehicle to this shop for any work that I might ever require.

Excellent service from Adler & Mandel. I had my headliner and sunroof cover redone with new fabric because it was saggy. Not only did they do a fantastic job they did it in one day! I dropped it off in the morning and picked it up in the early afternoon. Vehicle smelled fresh and everything in order. 10/10 would recommend there services to anyone!

Dropped my car off in the morning and it was completed by early afternoon. They installed the custom Katzkin leather seats and it looks like it came off the factory assembly line that way. Tested seat heaters and everything works just like before. They actually did a better job putting the backseat back than the Honda dealership did when I had my fuel pump recall done.Service: Upholstery installation

Judy, Steve and Mark were all excellent to work with. They replaced my seat covers, repaired my sunroof, electrical issues, carpet and removed and replaced the interior trim in my 2010 F150. The quality of their work is outstanding and their pricing is very fair. I felt like a valued customer the entire time I had my truck in the shop. Very poor quality of work. The lady at the front desk doesn t seem to be friendly at all. Seats were not bolted back and was left with just the bolts in place without tightening them to the required torque. They damaged my seat back and the front seat bolt covers were misplaced and they didn t take any responsibility. The pictures shared are the result of installation which was done on the same day. This was what I got after spending a hefty $2000. I had to fight with katzkin for a replacement under warranty and then chose to get it installed from a different installer (sure fit) at Arlington. They did a perfect job in fitting the new set of replacements sent to me.Service: Upholstery installation

Always a great experience and June and Steve are beyond friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Been coming here over 30 yrs since I was a teenager. Very high quality work.

I don t recommend come to this place. I came to this place to repair leather dent, they proposed to steam it out and want to charge me 190 dollar which is OK.Later they told me steam did not work at all and propose to replace the leather. I am not planning to replace the whole leather but they still want to charge me 100 dollars for the steaming which they admit did zero work. I am not willing to pay this money. I have no problem with paying them 190 or even more if their work has improved my leather condition even a bit.Finally, The front desk lady proposed to charge me 75 dollar for the work and I agreed. This is not because I think their work deserve this money, but only because I have no time to waste.

You could see the racism in the people who work there, they treated me very poorly that day, I practically felt like I had to pay them to say 1 word to me, very bad service.

Great experience here. They were easy to work with and got my convertible top working on my 2004 BMW Z4 despite how finnicky they can be. Top works great and the work was done at a FRACTION of what a dealership would be asking!

Adler & Mandel installed my katzkin leather seats and my katzkin heater/AC seats as well. I m very happy with the install. Seams are straight, and the leather is installed tightly. Looks factory installed.I won t lie, when katzkin directed me to Adler & Mandel for this install I was a little worried because I did see some low ratings, but didn t have any negative experiences.They were very professional and communicated with me on the progress being made. I m very happy with the product I received.

I highly recommend Adler and Mandel. I recently used them for a Katzkin leather seat install and was very impressed with the quality of work and the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. Beware. This place is downright awful. They replaced my convertible top but in the process fried the wiring for my power windows. Then they gave me the car back & said although they put a new top on, it does not work. WHAT!? Um aren't they supposed to fix that? Then they told me the top wouldn't function because of a bad hydraulic line (of course not included in the cost of the entire top replacement) so I had them replace it & guess what? The top STILL didn't work even they told me it would. The people at the front, Steve and June, seem pretty nice but as far as the work done this place is a nightmare. I've asked several times for a manager or owner & they will never let me speak to him or return my calls. I've informed my insurance company because Adler Mandel accepted their payment & not only didn't complete the job but did other damage in the process. Not only is that insurance fraud it's completely terrible business. Dishonest, lying crooks is what they are. I got everything fixed at IM Autohaus in Falls Church VA & gave them a stellar review.

Amazing I had a tear in my convertible top I was worried about getting it replaced since their price was so much cheaper than the dealer, but I found out they do the work for the dealers! So I saved almost $900 by cutting out the middle man, and the top on my Honda s2000 looks beautiful, I will be a happy return customer.

STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!!I came to them to get a sunroof put in my 2014 Cadillac XTS. They told me they would need to measure the inside of the vehicle to make sure things would fit properly and would give me the cost of getting the work done that I wanted after measurements were taken. I left the vehicle with them in good condition. Nothing was wrong with the vehicle. I returned to pick my vehicle up and the glass touch screen on my CUE System was cracked. I asked them about it and they told me it was like that when I brought it to them. I couldn't believe it!!! SHYSTY!!! STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!! Needless to say I won't be getting any work done by them and neither should you.This happened 7/16/2015

They fixed the sunroof on my F250 for a third of what the dealer wanted. I took it there on a Wednesday and it was finished Thursday. The people were very friendly and helpful.

BUYER BEWARE! Classic bait and switch auto repair / upholstery shop. Make sure you get a detailed quote in writing. They will give you a less than detailed quote and then once your car is in the shop and the interior is half apart, they come back to you and say, oops, we need to charge you more because we didn't realize that we had to do this or that. Be careful with Steve, he is the estimator and the guy that will do the bait and switch. DO NOT RECOMMEND. LIARS AND THIEVES!

My friend told me about Adler & Mandel to have a sunroof installed on my Silverado. Glad I chose them, very friendly and my sunroof works and looks like it came from factory. Definitely recommend Adler & Mandel to everyone

Best auto upholstery shop in the Rockville area, June Mandel and I have been friends for over 50 years..did the seats in my Grand Cherokee, from leather to cloth.. leather was too hot or too cold..

I took my convertable for checking the mechanical issue with the soft top, after heard they ripping off price , I took the car back , noticed they tear part of the fabric , now I have replace the whole thing. Void them if you care about your money and your car.
