S&S was clutch when I needed; my usual mechanic was having a leave of absence of sorts. I had unfinished brake work that was waiting on parts. Vova took on the job and my aftermarket parts and turned around the work with lightning speed.Service: BrakesService: Brakes

I've come to S&S Auto Repair for two separate tire issues recently, and I'm extremely grateful for Vova's work. He is very kind, generous, honest, and professional. And both visits have been so speedy. I'll barely have time to grab a coffee down the street to pass the time before he's calling to letting me know he's already finished up. I am honestly so happy to have found an auto repair specialist that I trust, and I certainly wouldn't go anywhere else!Service: Tires

Volva is a great mechanic and gets the job done fast and efficiently. I moved about 30-35 minutes away from his shop and i still always bring my vehicle to him. He has helped me out in a lot of tough situations! Great guy and a great mechanic

Very knowledgeable mechanic. Knows a great deal in reference to all types of vehicles. Very thorough in solving the issues with any vehicle. Vova is an honest and straightforward mechanic who will always provide the best solution to any issue about your vehicle. It is always a joy working with him. Our whole family brings our cars to him.

Mr. Vova is a brilliant auto technician. My only regret is throwing my money away for years before finding S&S. Expert service, at an unbeatable price. Vova is also one of the most caring people I have ever met. Try his shop one time, I'll say you will be thrilled too!

Vovo is amazing! My family has been going to him 30 years or so. He answers any questions, impeccable service and efficient. Works on all kinds of cars. Location is easy to get to from Route 1.

I love this place! I've taken my car there twice, once for a new clutch and once for a repair to the exhaust system (the pipe to the muffler had rusted through). Both times the work was done in less than a day and for a great price. For the latter repair, the owner did a repair rather than replace the entire exhaust system because, well, it's an old car and I don't expect to have it for much longer. No attempt to get me to go for the more expensive option, but he also made sure to check and let me know if going the repair route would only lead to me being back in the shop soon. Highly recommended.

My lady friend's car sounded like a muffler problem but the owner, Vulva, said it was not a muffler problem but another problem. He gave me a price . I said order the parts you need and I will had the car at your shop to do the repair which included arc welding. On the agreed upon day, I brought the car to S&S. Two hours later, the repair was done and I drove home. I thought the car was much quieter and had more pep but I don't drive the car on a daily basis. The next day, my lady friend, who does drive the vehicle daily, drove the car to work. My lady friend called from work to tell me she was thrilled with the repair. She said it was like driving a new car. I called Vulva to tell him about my lady friend's comments concerning the repair. Five stars for Vulva.

Great service and listened to what my issues were. Came up with a solution within my budget and did a great job. Reasonable pricing. The shop is somewhat difficult to find since it's in the back but who cares. I will be going back again for my repairs.

I had a 88 Mazda truck, 95 Chevy S10 pickup, 2000 Toyota Avalon XLE,2006 & 2007 Acura TL's, 2007 Lexus E350 and a 2008 Mini Cooper. And once these auto's were out of dealer warranty, they came under the exclusive care of S & S Auto repair. Everything from engine to tires. And all were maintained expertly and economically (at a fraction of the Dealer Repair Costs). Mr. Vova, is a Master Mechanic's Mechanic.

My family's mechanic for over a generation (till we had all moved out of state). Cared for a 197...5? Dodge Diplomat, a Chevelle older than me, a 1986 Accord, a 1999 Odyssey, a 1993 Taurus, a 1996 Corsica, and I think some others for us. As long as Vova is still here and you have a way to get the car to him, this shop is worth a trip across town.
