They do a lot of good work, and Butch and the rest of the crew are nice. But their prices are above average--before the pandemic, when the average shop rate/hr was around $150, they did a job on my car in about 3-4 hours & charged me well over a grand--despite me providing all the parts. After several other repairs I had to stop going there b/c they would mess up small but irritating things they wouldn't get right. Got a tire balanced, but the weights kept falling off. After a few times of their 'rebalancing' attempts I took it to a tire shop where they discovered the weights they were useing were for a different type of rim--i.e., with a different lip. Also, the A/C that had worked perfectly since I first got the car, mysteriously stopped blowing cold air the exact day they changed the engine thermostat. And when I brought this up they skirted any responsibility and blamed it on the age of the car. I understand they are two unrelated systems, but the car went in w/great A/C and came out with no A/C. Not a good look. Also they always made me wait for days before taking my car in, often making me go back several times b/c they would rarely pick up the phone. Since, I've been using other shops in the neighborhood as good and friendly, but readily available, more responsive and cheaper. I found them using 'fair price mechanic' and the top rated filter searching here.

My experience here has always been fantastic. They are helpful, quick, affordable and do great work. I cannot recommend them enough. I have been an old customer of them since 2018 when I got the car and went there for inspection. They found the risk of my brake and changed it to keep me safe. Later, for each year of maintenance, I will choose them. Those people are experts on your vehicle and take it as the baby to your car. Also, when replacing any of the new fragments, they will show you the waste one and the new one. During half an hour of the inspection, they will try to talk with you to avoid feeling bored. I prefer to give them perfect 100% any of the time.Service: Auto engine tuning

These guys are professional. I went in for an oil change and they discovered that I had a broken left control arm. Showed me how bad it was and made the appropriate repair. After doing my brakes and rotors my brake light came on while driving and had to bring it back in. They topped off my brake fluid for free. I went for a MD inspection. I knew the price($95 )was a bit much than usual. But as a whole went there because of good reviews. Although they said it might take a while but it was done very quick. As a whole no complaints with the service.

Took a gamble brakes feel like a brand new truck. Butch is a great person so I know his staff got to be great under his leadership. Planning on having my other vehicle service there.

Took my Mercedes CLA 250 here because the brakes squealing. They inspected the car, showed me the issue and gave me a price I'm sure was 90% less than Mercedes would have charged me to replaced two rotors and pads.Service: BrakesService: Brakes

These guys are very knowledgeable and fair. They do great work , I would definitely recommend this shop. Mr. Butch is a really good guy.

Went there for MD auto inspection. They gave honest inspection report. Inspection was quick - took about 45 minutes. But the price was higher ($95) than average ($70-$75).

Reliable and professional service!!! I always go there for my oil change and inspection, and never had any issues. Totally recommend the place especially for UMD students that live close by!

First time I was there I needed to get the inspection for my car with out of state expired tags, the young man on the counter went out of his way to help me find information from the MVA on the process. Time after time they are fast straight and helpful I really recommend this place.
