The owners are so funny and welcoming. The banter between them made me feel so relaxed. I called early in the morning and Robert told me to bring in truck. This was a fleet vehicle. He handled it well. I had to do absolutely nothing except drive the vehicle to the shop. I was in and out quickly and my truck was fixed by 1 p.m. Unfortunately, I was unable to pick it up until the next morning. He was VERY accommodating and greeted me with a jovial attitude at 5:30 the next morning. The shop has been around for over 30 years. They even pick up vehicles that need to be serviced. My truck ran perfectly when I did a test drive after the repairs. I had to drive it to SC and I had no problems during the trip. I will bring all of my fleet vehicles here in the future.

Went in for an exhaust leak and they pulled a bunch of random problems out of nowhere, charged way more than needed for a lot of the services and used up all the gas in my car. I put air in the car and the tire pressure lights was still on, and on the way home the engine started smoking. It broke down a couple days later even though my engine was running just fine before I gave them my car.Service: Exhaust

I had a great experience with the guys at Alternate Radiator and Auto Services today. I just bought a commercial vehicle for my company and needed a state inspection done asap. I called and they told me to come right over and they would have it done by the end of the day. They actually had it done much faster! They were pleasant to interact with and the service was great. I will definitely be back!

Meh. These guys are alright if you like the work done right for a fair price but I like more of a hassle when dealing with mechanics. They always just fix the issue, charge me a decent price and then give me my car back better than it was when I gave it to them. Well where is the fun in that? I can't think of anything more boring than not having my car come back with something new broken that wasn't broken before but these guys won't even give me that and I've been trying for 16 years, with 12 different vehicles between the wife and I. Their staging area for the customer vehicles is tiny so they can't even keep your car there for a long time and never get it done because they need the space to get in other cars. I miss the experience of paying for a rental car for weeks at a time that I used to get from other shops. Trust me, if you want a high price, a hassle, rude staff and a broken car when you get it back I'd take my business elsewhere because these guys gave me nothing to complain about and I'd give them more stars if I could. Blew an axle gasket driving from Alberta for a family emergency and these guys were the only ones that would get me in and get me going. Super nice guys to work with. Honest and fair. The work looked good and they had me on the road in 5 hours. Price seemed fair all things considered. They even dropped me off at the place I was staying and called me as soon as it was complete. Thanks guys! You really did me a solid!

I came to Alternate Radiator to have new AC lines built for my vehicle. I was assured by their staff that they are the best around for this type of work. It was absolutely not true. They charged me well over $700 for the creation of new AC lines. They never notified me that the lines were complete, and I had to call several days after they were supposed to be finished only to be told they would be ready for pick up later that day. Of the 6 lines that they built, 3 had leaks and had to be repaired. One was built with the incorrect fitting despite providing them with a list of exactly what I needed, this also needed to be fixed. I spent a massive amount of my time and money trying to get the AC system charged only to keep discovering leaks. Each time I brought back a line to be repaired, it was a joke to them. After taking several lines back to them to be fixed, I ended up seeking out a different shop to handle the rest of the repairs to their shoddy work.

So after spending thousands of dollars on my diesel truck on supposed service provided I would constantly get leaks I brought it to another shop only to be told how bad the service I had been given was. They were using sealer everywhere to try and stop the leaks it ended distorting my valve covers where I had to buy new ones and some other issues. When I brought it to their attention they did not offer to reimburse me for all of the money I had lost in their shop. They did offer to pay some of the bill at the new mechanic and a complementary service on the my next vehicle. I literally spent at least over $10000 probably more before I got fed up and brought it to another shop

Never use Alternate Radiator/Automotive!!Requested brake pads and rotor inspection, was told I needed to replace both. Work was not performed per my request. Had some other work done to satisfaction. Got vehicle back with an assortment of lug nuts, some not mine. They claimed they never removed my lugnuts. Ok then how did you inspect my brake pads and rotors. Not to mention the assortment of lug nuts were put back on with an impact gun. I literally had to remove broken lug nuts with a breaking bar and socket because the lug nuts sheared off with a normal tire iron. The owner took absolutely no responsibility or accountability. Seriously, that's how they run their business. If I could give negative stars, I would. Take your business elsewhere.Boulevard Automotive down the street from there is a professionallyrun shop. Highly recommended for quality, service, and price.

We love Rob and his gang of misfits... I mean, mechanics... ;) They've done excellent work on our cars for over 10 years now-- we've never had a complaint about a single repair that's been performed. Thanks for keeping us and our vehicles safe!

Alternate Radiator and service department was a pleasure to work with. They were very knowledgeable with diagnosing my vehicle. The facility tried to keep my costs to a minimum. I am very pleased with all services and the very fair pricing. I wished all mechanics were this honest and trustworthy!

I could have given Rob and his garage a zero star if I had that option. They are terrible and very expensive. The one star I give is for sweet mouth and foolish jokes from him, his daughter and dad. My car had a problem and I took it there for him to check it, do oil change and let me know what the issue was. Instead he went ahead and did a tire rotation and charged me a whopping $206.00. He also got my tire light to come on without putting air in the tires. When I asked him about it, he refused to put air in it. This guy is horrible and bad for business. Please do not go there. I should have listen to my coworkers.

Had an aluminum radiator "repaired" at this shop (drain tube had broken off). The drain tube was welded back on pointing straight back instead of at a 90 degree angle pointing down as it should have been. And it leaked at the weld. I contacted the shop about these issues and they refused to stand behind their work. Would give them 0 stars if possible. Go anywhere else for radiator work.

Rob was a life saver. Picked me and broken down vehicle from the side of road, fixed everything including alternator for a more than reasonable price and even gave me a Military discount.cannot say enough great things. Thank you so very much. Highly recommend!

Because my daughter car is still leaking water, more then it was before we drop it off, and before she drop her car off, she had a full tank of gas, and when she went back to pick up, her car she only had not, even a half of tank of gas. When they just take the cars to the back of their shop. Where did they take her car, to use all of her gas up?
