Can t express how great these people are. They 100% care about their customers and they are honest and will not rip you off. All the work that they have done for me in the past has been exceptional. Couldn t recommend them more to anyone who needs transmission work.

I took my old Lexus GS300 I bought as a build to Whitcraft by way of referral. No one would touch my car as it was an upstate vehicle with plenty of rust. The car s transmission was slipping pretty bad and the transmission lines were leaking and rusted. I was told to first replace the transmission, then to completely get rid of the car. I even tried to argue what all the other shops diagnosed the problem as but this shop didn t listen. They re professionals. Once Whitcraft got it, diagnosed it, fixed the transmission and lines in a week. The car drives like a Lexus should now. Thanks Guys. My 03 Sport Design lives again!

Dropped car off paid for repair cash upon arrival (over $4,000.) Although car was done in a timely manner. I picked my car up in the evening and called the following day to report that My car was left dirty! and I picked my car up to damage on the driver side door. Contacted management drove 45 min to bring my car back to show employees the damage and was told it is impossible for it to have had happened here. I have had this car for 10 years and use it as a secondary vehicle. paying the amount of money I paid to receive a dirty car with hand prints and grease on the car is completely unacceptable. To add insult to injury to be basically be told I'm a liar is disgraceful. I would not recommend anyone to come here.Services: Transmission, Body & Trim

I took my 2011 Infiniti in for a leak in an automatic transmission line that no one else (including an Infiniti dealer) could fix. Whitcraft was able to accurately diagnose the source of the leak, repair it, take it for a test drive to ensure the integrity of the repair, and return it to me. The cost was about $200. I am thrilled! Whitcraft was great to deal with and I highly recommend their work. If no one else can fix it, I bet Whitcraft can!Service: Transmission

Went to Whitcraft after others looked at my daughter's van and said it needed a new transmission at 68K miles. (Don't buy a Dodge) The dealer quoted a ridiculous price the local shop was a little cheaper but when I pressed them on it they told me to take it to Whitcraft. I'm glad I did they are a very professional shop and came in 2K cheaper than the local shop and about 3K cheaper than the dealer. Van was finished earlier than expected all in all a great experience. Highly recommend.

I've dealt with Whitcraft for years where I currently work, and recently used their services for my personal vehicle. They do excellent work, we haven't had a single issue with all of the transmissions they've rebuilt for us over time. Greg is super responsive and easy to deal with. I highly recommend them, and would rate them 6 stars if that was an option.Service: Transmission

I will never go to another repair shop for my transmission. I had a transmission emergency, and Greg was there to take my call, offered a way to drop it off that night, and look at it as soon as possible. The staff were polite, professional, no-nonsense, and saved me a huge amount of stress dealing with this issue. When they called and told me how much the repair would be, their rate was so low I was shocked.I cannot recommend Whitcraft Transmission enough. Not only was the staff amazing, but the price was great, and the work was high quality. This was the most pleasant auto trouble repair experience I have ever experienced.

I took my 2017 Dodge ProMaster to him to inspect the transmission due to funny sounds and smells after towing a heavy load. Up front on the phone, Greg told me worst case was about $3,300/$3,400 for a total rebuild. Ok, not as bad as I thought! But then they looked at it and couldn't find anything wrong with it. Said no charge, pick it up when you can. How nice just to get an honest assessment at no cost! I couldn't pick the van back up for 2 weeks and Greg was more than patient and kind about it. He came highly recommended and I highly recommend.Service: Transmission

The folks at Whitcraft are phenomenal. I was having issues with my transmission and my mechanic recommended Whitcraft. Greg (at the front desk) was so delightful. I dropped off my car and they called with me an estimate (which was extremely reasonable) and told me they would work on my car so I could pick up at the end of the day. They were efficient, reliable, honest and most importantly they fixed the problem! My car is driving like new and I m enjoying it once again! Thank you Greg and thanks to the entire team at Whitcraft. It s difficult to find honesty these days and your team proved otherwise!

we had amazing service coupled with quality craftsmanship, I cant say the same thing about any other auto service center. I had a horrible experience right next door to these guys, but Whitcraft fixed my issues right away without over charging and with a smile. can't recommend them enough!!

Awesome work and affordable, but that's not the best part..... the best part is the fact that they are HONEST about any issues if they even find any. I've taken cars there and thought something was wrong and they were HONEST enough to tell me they didn't find anything wrong at all and I've also taken cars there for a 2nd opinion and even tho their findings were different from the other place, they were 100% ACCURATE about what was wrong with the car!!! It's been my experience that other places try to take advantage females, but NOT at Whitcraft and I highly recommend them!!!!! Thank you so much, so very very very much for being honest and for doing such great work!!!

I LOVE this place!. The people are extraordinarily helpful honest & polite. Car broke down transmission went out. Had it towed around closing time..the next morning they checked out the issue and called me with info by lunch time. I had a used transmission sent there to be installed and they had my car ready to come home the next 2 days. Car drives great! They did an amazing job, and being a woman i was very pleased to have been treated so nicely and then be so honest and fair. They never over priced me or tried upselling me like most other shops do. I would recommend this place to any and everyone!!! Thank you whitcraft!!!!!

This place is incredibly honest. I dropped my truck off, for a free check of the transmission. After paying another mechanic to fix an issue that was still occurring. Whitcraft checked it & said the only electrical code that showed, had nothing to do with the transmission. It was a sensor.They could ve told me anything was wrong with the transmission,& and I wouldn t have known the difference . Yet they charged me nothing for the diagnostic, and gave me the information I needed to get it fixed at a shop, because they only do transmission work. I will definitely be back to whitcraft for anything needed for a transmission in either vehicle!Service: Transmission

Was thinking the worst with my transmission and fully expected to pay for a rebuild...at 2200.00... was so glad to hear it was only a 200.00 repair. No leaks and all is great!! Honesty does still exist out there.And this is my 2nd time with two different cars over the last 20 years!!

These guys are top notch. They replaced my transmission last November. Truck ran great until last. The speed sensor went out that caused the truck to not come up to speed and the speedometer not to work. I called them and they told me to bring it in. I dropped it off that night and the had me rolling the next day. These guys stand by their work. Got to thank Nick of Time for recommending them.

Brought them a transmission that we had pulled from a truck, they said they don t work on them if it s not in a vehicle. So it looks like they expect you to pay the tow bill and extra labor charges to have them work on it. Surprisingly they said they d do it, which shouldn t even have been a question to begin with. But they wanted to charge 1400$ for a stock rebuild on a 70s truck transmission, at a completion time of a week and a half!. We walked out, you can buy one off jegs for the same price plus shipping. This place lost my business before they even had it.
