Alvin is amazing! He worked diligently to find leaks with my 2001 BMW Z3. He was unyielding in finding the problem and resolving. He kept me informed every step of the way with detailed explanations as well as pictures to illustrate. My 20+ year old baby runs better than ever. His prices were better than comparable and his service is beyond compare. He cares about the quality of work performed, he's highly knowledgeable and knows exactly what he's doing. My BMW was in his shop longer than anticipated, and my jeep was in desperate need of brakes. Alvin, did not hesitate to tell me...informed me my brakes needed to take priority! He immediately reassembled my BMW engine, and allowed me to swap vehicles for a day so he could perform the much need brake job on my jeep. Very next day, we swapped out again so he could finish working on my BMW. This is not just excellent customer service...it's more...his immediate focus was on my safety. This is a man...a genuinely kind, caring, professional man that knows his business and puts his customers and their safety first! I highly, highly Recommend Mpire Automotive...will never take my baby to any other shop! Owings Mills needs more stellar business operations like Mpire! Alvin's customer service was outstanding and he was very accommodating when a personal situation required me to leave my car there for a few weeks. He pulled it in and out every day to ensure it was kept out of the elements. That is over and above customer service. He is my new BMW indy mechanic. Alvin was amazing to work with. He came highly recommended and turned out to be very honest, reliable, experienced and handled my vehicle with extreme care. Did not try to push me on any other services (like I have experienced with other mechanics). Finally found a great place to take my 2012 BMW 528i xdrive here in northern Maryland for all my future service needs. Very neat and clean workshop. I was randomly in the location of Mpire Automotive and needed work done on my 2005 BMW M3. The shop looked impeccably kept so I decided to ask for an estimate. I try to do most of my own work, but, without a lift I can only do so much. Alvin was very quick and thorough in providing an estimate. After returning at a later date for an appointment, I even stuck around to wait for the job to be completed. I was very impressed with what I saw...an extremely knowledgeable, hard working, and friendly mechanic who was far more thorough than I would have been. As I said, I try to do most of my own work, but, I think I have found a wonderful mechanic! I would recommend Mpire Automotive to anyone and everyone.

Alvin was great! Came in because of leaky fuel injectors and was more than satisfied with the work! Cost me a fraction of what BMW were charging me! Very reliable and quality work!

Mr. Alvin is very professional . He kept me informed about my repairs upon my 2003 BMW 325i every step of the way. He also provided before and after pictures along with details of what needed to be fixed and why it was important for parts to be repaired. The shop was immaculate , very clean .I originally would take my car to the BMW dealership where i though there prices were just too high in cost of repairs. I would recommend Mr. Alvin to all who owns a BMW any BMW. Thank you so much MY CAR FEEL BRAND NEW AGAIN.

Being a car enthusiast, I always look for the enthusiast mechanic to take my vehicles to when I absolutely can't work on them myself. A mechanic who pays attention to detail on a level beyond your average, and Alvin is that guy!I suffered what was just shy of catastrophic damage to my BMW's engine, and immediately thought to take my car to Mpire based on prior recommendations from some friends who lived in the area. Alvin graciously took my vehicle in to work on despite me not having an appointment and him also being back logged. Given the pandemic and other related challenges, my car took longer to be repaired than I anticipated, but Alvin took care of it every step of the way with meticulous attention to photographic detail, explanations of all findings, and then looking for the most cost effective but still quality solution for ME and not him. The reviews don't lie. This level of service is a rare thing to still find in a mechanic today.If you are looking for someone to work on and care for your vehicles as if it they were their own, Mpire needs to be at the top of your list!Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair, Oil change

Brought my car in for a walnut blast and some other maintenance (fluids). Alvin kept me informed, even too pictures of the process. Usually prefer to take care of all the maintenance myself, but with that much attention to detail I m sure an equal or better job was done. I ve always been a DIY type especially when it came to my cars. Having kids has changed that so my time had been diverted. Bringing my cars to Al gives me peace of mind because I know he treats my cars with the same amount of care and respect as he would with his own cars.While his shop is geared to BMWs, he s worked on both my Honda and Toyota. Pricing is fair, quality of work is top notch and Al s a wealth of knowledge if you just want to talk shop. I don t hesitate in recommending Mpire Automotive for all your automotive needs.

Mpire Automotive is fair and honest shop that repair only what s needed to get you back on the road. Very fast service done well and they treat your car like it s one of their own.They have done two brake jobs for our family and my Mercedes SL63 AMG was handled with TLC. They can handle any job and I highly recommend this shop. I will never take my car to any other shop.Thanks for all your great work Alvin!

Alvin is a BMW Guru. He is very experienced from years of being a BMW tech, but he can work on anything (especially Japanese cars).He was referred to me from a friend, and we've been very pleased. He takes care of my partner's E39 540i and puts up with all the little things that pop up with owning an older BMW (which is all the time LOL).He will work hard to solve mysteries and I believe he has up to date BMW diagnostic computer systems. He's a car enthusiast and he will work hard to get your baby back on the road. What I like about him most is that he's extremely detail oriented, patient, gives detailed reports, will work with you on parts (within reason, he won't let you put junk parts on your car, so take his advice when OEM parts are a better choice) and that is what I want in a technician/owner of a repair shop. Even better is he's right next door to Redline Motorworks who have an alignment rack (a great VW/Audi shop).We just added another BMW to our fleet of cars and he's worked on our old Lexus and two Nissans.He's a great guy and you should give him a try on your Bimmer!

Alvin has been doing work on our 530, 540iT, and 550 for years. His shop is clean and professional, yet friendly and helpful. Defiantly a great shop for BMW repairs (and other makes) and is highly suggested...
