Amended review based on last visit. The good news. They took me instantly and got me in and out on a battery replacement in 15 minThe bad. Tried to charge me about 140.00 for labor; On line saw " free battery installation", behind counter- huge sign stated " free battery ..". Then asst mgr said the system required he charge me .1 for labor. In principle, I decided I shouldn't have to pay anything for labor and stated if rather tip than pay a few that is stated as free. Also has an issue with the amount of labor charge as shop fee I think was listed as 160.00/hr ....He tried to charge me, I believe about 140.00; it took about 12-14 minutes,! Not good!

Mr. Brown is the man to go to if you need your car fixed... everyone has a passion fixing cars is his.i only trust my car with him.Mr. Brown has been fixing my cars over the years...This man can exactly take a car apart and put it back together again

Very happy with the gentlemen at Monroe Auto Service and Tires. I came in with multiple punctures in multiple tires, they got me in within two hours and we're able to discount my tire replacements to fit my budget. Very polite and friendly people who want to take care of their customers. Would recommend.

I made an appointment to replace 2 tires on my car, I made the appointment 3 days ahead.The register was very quick and they brought my car in right away.It took them 3 hours! My car was standing on a lift for hour and a half and it took them another hour and a half to finish the job.They did the job like I expected but I do recommend to clear the whole day for any kind of service you need or to go to your next destination and let them wait for you.

Awesome team, had me in and out in about an hour to replace my exhaust and muffler. Answered all my questions, explained everything they did, and were the sweetest guys ever. Thanks Mr. Rich and Julio!! Church mice WANT to be as quiet as my car Special thanks to the gentleman doing his courses at the desk that kept me company while I waited. The guys were awesome! Extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and they fit me in last minute, same day, same morning. I am so happy with rear brake service in my 2002 Honda Accord that I will be coming back here in a couple of months to do front brakes. Thanks, Monro!!!

I had a excellent experience at this location. When I got off of work I had a flat tire and all of the shops were closed or they wouldn t take me at a late hour due to short staff. I took a chance and called this location around 5pm and he told me to bring my car in, I didn t believe he would find a tire for me but he did! He was the only one working in the shop by himself so I commended him for taking on my service. I was able to get a new tire and pick up my son. Definitely recommend this location.

I had a hole in the tire, it was a car I bought that day elsewhere. Team was super friendly and while they said I needed a new tire, they were able to patch it enough so I can go back to the dealership to get a new tire from there. They used the tire repair kit from my own car, and even though they spent some time on it, they were super nice and didn't charge me anything. Very friendly and worked hard and fast to get me out of there! Thank you!!! I told them that if they refused to charge me, then I just HAVE to write a glowing review. Thank you again!

Everyone was nice the service was slow but I was a walk in so I wasn t too upset. But what really made me upset was that my wheel lock keys were misplaced. They were not placed back in my glove box after they replaced my tires. I didn t find out until months later when I was getting my brakes done at another shop. I had to pay for my wheels to be removed . I just think they need to be more responsible for peoples belongings.

I came into get a much needed oil change. I called to see if there was an opening. Mr. Bishop, was not only helpful over the phone, he was incredibly helpful, providing A1 customer service. I know have a reliable mechanic to help with my auto maintenance.

Had a great experience last week with Rich and his crew. They are all very polite, professional and most importantly knowledgeable. I had to replace my muffler and exhaust. I was told they were short staffed but my car would be done the same day. Although I had to wait a bit I was very satisfied and patient with them. Unfortunately, I have found that businesses are working with skeleton crews. Patience is key. I will be back again!!!

Mr. Richard Brown was very professional and knowledgeable. Very quick fix of my tire due to a nail. Only thing that needs improvement is the mechanic working that day was a little rude in his response when I returned to the shop. It was no one at the front counter and I waited at least 20 mins before going on the side where the mechanics work to ask for help. The brown, bold headed gentleman made a hand gesture (pointing) "go to the front" without even asking any questions to why I came around to that area in the first place. I'm a grown man who respect other grown men. His tune was off for me. I will just chalk it up as maybe it was a tough morning, but that could have went left.

Great customer service and very efficient! When o called with concerns of my vehicle I spoke to EJ and he was very patient as I was explaining my concern. He advised that I come in for him to take a look at the car, as soon as I got here EJ was able to take my car back and both diagnose and fix the issue quickly and for a decent price. 10/10 would recommend, ask for EJ!

Told me they would be able to get the job done in one day on Monday, by the end of week at the latest assuming parts needed to be ordered. I called two days later they had not looked at the car. No response from them by the end of the week. On Monday we went to get our vehicle and they said they could not release it because the manager was not in the store, not my problem turned into my problem and our property was essentially held hostage. So now they have wasted another whole day for me and our crew. Terrible communication, I called around various mechanics before having sent it there because I needed a timely response.

Wow Joshua and Rich and the whole team here made my visit extra special.I'm a senior female and they wanted to make sure that not only did they patch up the hole in my tire oh, they made me aware of other things that I'm going to have to get fixed today did an inspection and no charge. I'm a Pro Singer from Virginia and took a chance because the reviews were good... and I agree with everyone that yes this is the place to come for your car!

Very friendly place... tire pressure light came on while driving to work, so I jumped off 795. I found Monro Auto on google. Mr. Richard helped me out & had me on my way. I know it was just from the lovely Maryland weather, but I appreciated their time & assistance.

I trust this place with my vehicle because they have always done great work and they typically finish the job in a reasonable time frame. However, my most recent visit was different.I made an appointment for Saturday morning at 10am to have my back passenger tire replaced. I dropped my car off at 10am and went home to do some chores, hoping to have my car back by 2pm, so I could get outside and enjoy the weather. I know changing a tire can be done in less than an hour, but the guy at the desk kept say, "let me see what we got," which I assumed meant, he may not have the tire I need in house and he would have to send out for it. With that being said, I mentally prepared myself for a three hour wait.Typically, someone would call me to notify me that my car was ready, but 2pm, 3pm and 4pm came and went and no one called. Finally, I called at 4:05pm to see if my car was ready. The gentleman at the front desk said, "Yeah, it's ready. I had to go get the tire." Considering they close at 5pm on Saturdays, I can't help but wonder when they were planning to call me.

They guy behind the counter was nice and knowledgeable. It took nearly 5 hours to get my back brakes changed, 3 of which my car was up on the chassey. Needless to say, I was happy with the customer service but not about waiting around for a job that takes 20 minutes to do.

Great customer service and quality of work. Staff is very knowledgeable and professional. I brought my vehicle in for an oil change was immediately greeted by staff, gave their recommendations and upkeep advice. Work time for vehicle was done in a timely manner. Highly recommend

I could not say enough great things about this shop. Justin was extremely helpful and accommodating from start to finish. He provided me with great advice for car maintenance and made the time pass a little faster while I waited. James, who worked on my car, was wonderful. He was a straight shooter and explained everything thoroughly before starting to work. These guys are great all around. If you want good honest work, you can t go wrong with Monroe.

I had an amazing experience here today. I ve never been here before but I will be back. My car isn t the easiest to work on either. They took me in right away and took great care of my car. Very professional and friendly. Gave me the best deal. Couldn t of asked for better service. Highly recommend coming here. I was such in a rush to leave tho. I don t think I was able to thank them enough. If you re reading this, thank you so much. I apologize if I was rude leaving so quickly.
