Terrible customer service on 23 December 2023. Arrived in the early AM to get oil and filters for my vehicle. I typically use Jiffy-Lube down the street but since they were closed, I decided to do it myself. Two employees "appeared" to be working ... one was basically looking at her phone at the register. Asked for help finding the correct filter and it was apparently very painful for her ... I just ended up walking out and going across the highway to the other local auto parts place. Terrible interaction ... and a Merry Christmas to you too!

Needed a new car battery. Pulled up there, they came out and checked it and brought a new battery right to my car and installed it. Both of the young men were very knowledgeable and did a great job! Excellent service!

My check engine light came on while I was away. I stopped in Pocomoke AutoZone. They were great. The woman that helped me was very knowledgeable and was able to help me out. She went above and beyond helping me find a local mechanic. I was very grateful for her assistance.

Our car broke down on our way North from Virginia Beach, and Rebekah at auto zone was a lifesaver! She not only helped diagnose that it was the alternator, (not just a dead battery) and sold us a replacement, she also helped us find a repair shop to install it the same day so we could get back on the road without having to stay overnight in a hotel.She called Andy's alignment and they took our car in right away, and installed the alternator quickly and at a very reasonable price. I was sure we'd have to pay out the nose being we were literally stuck far from home, but no, everyone helped us and got us back on the road without overcharging. Very impressed with Rebecca at Pocomoke Auto Zone - thank you!!!

My engine light was in and I scheduled an appointment with a mechanic; it was going to be $80 just for them to look at it.I stopped at AutoZone and explained the issue. They used a few readers on my car and found the issue! I needed a new gas cap a $13 item. The engine light went off and I was able to cancel my $80 appointment.The young African American girl helped me and she was fabulous. She really knew what she was doing! Thank you so much!!

You can forget all the other reviews, My wife and I broke down while on vacation. We went in on Saturday night about 9:30 pm and told our problems to the 2 gentleman on duty and they both were very helpful and said to come in and talk to Bill who worked there and could recommend a good repairman to help us. Long story short, he did! We got our car fixed for way less than could've hoped for and our vacation finished great, all thanks to your staff who didn't have to do what they did with advice, sympathy, and actually caring about just some customers stranded 300 miles from home. Thank you guys

The lady that rang me up to get a core refund on the alternator was very rude and she acted like she didn't like her job. I asked to see if they could test it to make sure it was a bad one after spending 289.00 on it and she said that their machine was broken at the moment that there was no one to run it in the store. Then she was just a little snippy with me ans told me to sign at the x on the screen and hit ok. No thank you for shopping here. Have a nice day or anything of the sort. The whole time she was there tapping her long green finger nails while waiting on me. Poor customer service. I will go to salisbury one for now on.

I ve lived up and down the east coast and each and every place is different but I ve never asked for a part and got a dumb look and then explain it and get the response of I m not a mechanic I just work here . Well thanks for the obvious, it s quite evident you are not a mechanic but you do sell parts. So sad to see the lack of effort and care of taking care of your customer and doing the right thing. Especially when there s another parts store around the corner.

One of the employees at this establishment was very rude to me this past Friday. I came into the store to exchange lug nuts. I was trying to provide the woman with my electronic receipt. She got annoyed and put her hand up and shooed me away when I was showing her my phone to display the receipt. She was also on her phone and was searching waist trainers when I was asking her questions about the auto parts. I was dissatisfied with the customer service provided by this individual.

Had a great experience at Auto Zone today. Went in to get a cable removed that was corroded on my battery. They were so helpful. Battery was done to 40% ended up replacing it. Had a few issues replacing the cable and getting the battery out. They went above and beyond to help us and were so friendly also. The employees and manager were so great. Stop by .we were so pleased

Very Rude! Staff was basically on cellphones huddled in a little group talking and laughing. This is on 9/13/2020 @ 11:45 am. They sold me the wrong part on 9/12/2020 and my husband went back to get the correct part and they said they didn't have it! Then why give me any part just for the business?? When my husband asked the girl (with blonde hair) that question she said oh well I didn't work yesterday. I will never return to them and they lucky my husband is nicer than me because I would have got smart with them way more than he did!!!!! The staff isn't knowledgeable at all when it comes to parts or anything and the sad part is that they looking right at the computer and it tells you what part to get!!!! This is the third time they sold us wrong parts!!!!!!

AutoZone supplied a defective water pump to my mechanic, which AutoZone admits blew up and destroyed the top part of my engine. Although AutoZone is paying for the replacement parts to repair all that has been destroyed, AutoZone has dragged out the repairs to more than FOUR WEEKS so far and has caused me grievous financial harm totaling $3,450 out of pocket and un-reimbursed so far. Please send a check, AutoZone. It is much cheaper than the alternative.Defective parts supplied by AutoZone so far include the original water pump, the first replacement cylinder head (which was incompletely machined), the second replacement cylinder head (which arrived missing all of the required, related parts -- the mechanic had to "scrounge" to locate replacements from around his shop and by ordering new), and the new censor. Even though the car has now been returned to me, it still has the Check Engine light on with the computer reading alarming codes -- P0011 three times and P0507. I do not consider my car to be fixed yet.AutoZone (and not the mechanic) caused the four-week delay by initially taking two weeks to admit liability and authorize purchase of the replacement cylinder head. During the remaining two weeks, AutoZone sent defective part after defective part as discussed above had to be reordered before my engine could be fixed. Seriously, AutoZone, you need to switch to more better suppliers.Meanwhile, I was suffering for more than four weeks. This repair could have been completed in TWO DAYS except for AutoZone's choices and repeated defective parts. This exploding defective water pump happened when I was more than a seven-hour drive away from home in a town where I knew no one. I was left with no car and nowhere to stay in a town with no taxis, Ubers or Lyfts. Instead of just fixing the car, the responsible parties led me along 2-3 days at a time saying they would soon have a decision or would soon have it repaired. The promised completion was always just soon enough that it made no sense to make the 7-hour drive home, which takes me 1.5 days to make, since I am older and have health issues.I did nothing wrong, yet I have been forced by AutoZone into spending these huge amounts of money when I did nothing wrong. Please make this right.

I had a bad battery, and the terminals were so corroded they hide a crack that almost severed the connection to the cabling. The employees were so helpful to the point of calling one of their spouses, who was a mechanic, to make sure I was safe to drive home (350 miles away). They even let my wife, daughter and dog wait in the shop out of the cold while we waited for said mechanic. A truly wonderful set of people who went above and beyond what was expected.

This store is useless. They open late EVERYDAY! Have tried 6 times in the past week to pick up a few things in the morning. Supposed to open at 7:30. The earliest any staff will get up from behind the counter and open doors is 7:54. Do better!

Stopped in with a headlight out. Had to borrow tools to do so. The young man not only Kent us store tools but his own tools and helped with the change! Thank you so much for great customer service all in 90 weather wearing a mask!

Just wanted you to know, I had a most exceptional call with an asociate by the name of Heather, spoke with her 3 times in reference to a fuel filter assembly for my truck, and twice she called me back after doing some research!!!! Thanks for the outstanding customer service!!!

Needed waterpump 2005 chevy trailblazer. Came in store went to get jug of antifreeze first. In my way toward counter young black lady asked could she help me. I said yes. In a nutshell from start to finish i wished i had went to another clerk. I was immediately met with a funky attitude for simply asking reasonable questions. Have a mind to drop by store and talk to a manager .

I pulled up to 3 people smoking outside I asked a question and 2 went inside. The only on left was a man. I asked a question and he snapped at me I am on break how am I supposed to know that. So I ordered windshield wipers and they said they will be in the next day. Guess what no wipers. I am getting such the run around.i will be canceling my order. Totally unprofessional

Employees are not as knowledgeable as they should be. They helped me with what I needed but couldn't answer my questions. The tool rental is a joke also. Wanted 75 bucks for a slide hammer and didn't even come with a clamp or anything to hook it up with... That was separate. Also I spent several hundred dollars on one trip and used my rewards card on several other trips.. Nothing in return, no discount or nothing after going there several times and spending a lot of cash. Advance gave me discounts and helped more. "Advance in TN" not here...

At first I was very pleased with my experience, but then after I got home and started working on my car. I found out the caliper I had just purchased was not in working order. I called and was told it has a lifetime warranty and I come in and get it replaced. The next day I get a friend to drive me up to auto zone only to find out they don't have the part in stock (why wasn't I told on the phone when I called??). I was told they can order it but it won't be in until the next day. So two days later and 20 dollars in gas money to other people for driving me there and back and I have nothing to show for it. Also with the first part being not in working order made me waste a bottle of brake fluid that won't be replaced.

On our way to Ocean City md from PA we had an emergency and needed to fix our vehicle in the parking lot of autozone store #1833 and Rick the manager went above and beyond to help us out and get us back on the road. Thank you so much Rick, you turned what could have been a huge ordeal into a minor inconvenience.

Treated very poorly at Pocomoke store will not return. I will go to Advanced Auto Parts. What makes it worse it was the female manager, whatever happened to customer service with a smile. Kidness goes a long way!

Took a while for someone to come from the back. They were very helpful and customer oriented. Checked my car. Needed a new battery. In and out in about 35-40min. Will go back!
