Overall, it was horrible. I was hoping for a nice family vacation and a bit of peace. But as soon as we arrived I was completely shocked to see what I had paid for. We had supposedly paid for everything in advance, but when we arrived at the front, they wanted another 100 and didn't specify what the fee was for. The smell inside the cottage was unpleasant, a moldy odor. As soon as my girls walked in, they got some sort of allergy reaction. We were charged with a cleaning fee, and it DID NOT look clean to me. I stayed the night because we couldn't just drive back 7 hours in pitch black, and I was hoping to give the place a chance. The next morning, my girls got worse with the reactions, and I went outside to look around. It didn't look safe for my kids and my family to stay for the rest of the expected stay. There were beer bottles laying around and cigarette buds all over. In my opinion, this is not a family oriented place to go for vacation and more like an adult environment. We left right that minute and didn't receive a penny back. They told my brother they would call him after 3 days to talk about what happened. When they did call him, they asked to send them pictures, but they refused to refund part of the payment. Although you can't take away from nature. The beach is nice. But I don't recommend this place at all for the people who have kids.

Went there with my family yesterday and there was a guy that pulled out a knife on us at the pier. Told the and the Staff DIDNT DO ANYTHING. Said that their turn was done, clocked out and left. Didn t even call the police or do anything to help us. These people don t care about you, they just care about taking your money pathetic. Definitely DONT RECOMMEND people coming here because it s not a safe place for family especially kids.

Looks like a beautiful place but customer service is weak. We traveled long way to come here and called prior a week to reserve and was told it was first come first serve. When we got there they said no you have to make a reservation. They have to agree on something and not make people travel all the way there just to find that out. Not cool.

The beach was pretty and all but there was jelly fish I know they can't do nothing about that but that wasn't it u couldn't play loud music in the day, the bathrooms were really like really dirty, the shower near the tents only had cold water in one shower and in the other shower they only had hot water and u couldn't change the water.

Been coming here since the 60s. Boat, fish and crab the local waters and like the slower pace of St Marys. Wife suggested we find a place to bring the grands for a week in the summer. Took a ride to the end and got out and walked around checking it out. Very dissapointed to say the least. Nothing like it once was. Extremely run down and in need of updating. Wife got back in the car real quick.

Discriminatory doesn t even cut it when it comes to describing their pet policy. It s honestly gross and shameful. But don t let that be the only reason to deter you from staying here. The facilities absolutely suck. Management clearly doesn t give at all about quality of one s stay in the dirty cottages with things falling apart everywhere, people packing in like sardines and a joke of rates for said trash facilities. Awful experience that won t change until this place either gets swept away by a hurricane or goes under new management that gives a $h!t.

The beach is nice, the places are really scary, but the price was good for 4 days. Our place had no lights in the kitchen, and they charged us more than they said for our extra family to visit. Still we had a good time. It was crowded, but it is a nice surprise place you may not know exists

I visit this place and I am very disappointed. They really need to closed down. The restroom is really bad with overflow water and unclean environment. The place is over crowded with pound music. It really defeats the purpose of going to the beach to enjoy the sound of the waves crushing the sand. There are no hot water for shower.
