Any one need a PSVR? This place is smaller than other exchanges but still worth a visit.I always pick up an installation coin when I visit new places.

The expansion side is located so far from the parking area you should bring a snack to walk to it. Not sure who thought of this layout but they got this one wrong. Inside has a great selection of electronics and clothes. I just came for some beer.

Good size store with good options. Definitely not the same store as Norfolk or San Diego, but can definitely find the necessities. Clothing selection is not that great and very limited on shoes. They def have all your uniforms that you need!!!

There seldom seem to be any be any new items anymore it no longer offers much for our military membersToday I was excited to see a 20% sale on the Vera Bradley purse. It was $65.0 NEX price 90.00 regular MSR we were advised the 20% was off the MSR so we were charged 65.00 how is that a sale?

Great store since remodeling is finished. Almost all cashiers are quick and friendly, if on a time crunch don't go through the line of the cashier who is sitting. Didn't have the uniform pieces I needed but they were able to get them ordered and arrived quickly. Toy department is still small but a cute selection. They have a wide selection of alcohol and can even help special order, have the Leroy (believe that was his name) help you. Even check out the gift shop if you need balloons, helped my wife out when she was planning a baby shower, but watch who does the balloons if you buy the regular latex ones. My wife bought a bunch and they were barely filled so she had to buy more but the girl that filled the new ones made them look like balloons not small circles. She even made sure the balloons were weighted properly so none would get lost, thank you Jennifer* (hope that is her name it began with a J). Yes it's smaller than most but it still has a great selection and will price match local stores.Edit: My wife informed me it was a Jennifer not Jessica. She talked to her today about more balloons.

Very clean store, friendly staff, however, I believe the prices on a lot of items are pretty high. The shoe section has some deep discounts which is nice. Clothing and perfume section is very pricey!

I would like to apologize, profusely to the lady Cashier this morning Pax River NEX for inconveniencing you on this lovely Friday.I mean, I know it was such a bother to go to your register the first time to buy some Icy Hot patches for my stiff neck but to to come back the 2nd time because I forgot that i needed to buy some Hydrocortisone for my son must ve completely ruined your otherwise lovely gossip with your coworker!! I should have known by the way you eyed me up and down that I should ve steered clear off your register because GOD Forbid you would miss out on some serious juicy tidbits with your coworker!I should have known and again, it was really dumb of me to assume you were available to cater to a customer since, you know, it s your job.At 9 am, I can only imagine how busy you were with the 3 customers inside the store which included myself.I mean, 3 people can be a handful huh! I strongly advise that no one and i mean no one bother Miss Ma am and just proceed to the either the lovely gentleman at the liquor area or to her coworker who she was chatting with since he seemed way less busy than she was!I mean, i d ring up my own items if i could, but hey, I m a measly customer with nothing better to do on a Friday but bother a lady who s sole purpose on earth was run her mouth and get paid.I m such a horrible, horrible person.

About the Size of Aberdeen PX but far better stocked and staffed. It is small but for the size I give this place a thumbs up. It is getting expanded and the food court appears to be closed for renovations but for the size of the installation I am impressed. All the price scanners worked which was a first for me and a plus. Price matched two items without a sworn statement, affidavit, and or a sideways look from staff.

Our local NEX on Pax Naval Air Station is filled with great values and quality products. I shop there more than once a week, not only because I find what I need, but also for the safe and clean environment. The employees each and everyday are polite, helpful, and always greet me with a smile. The pharmacy and food court personnel are equally as great in their positions. We are very lucky to have such outstanding support people and facilities so close by!

Small! Instead of remodeling they should have made it bigger. The exchange in fort Meade is twice the size. They had the same issue and just made a new building in the parking lot and bulldozed the old building and turn that into a parking lot once the new one was finished.Beside that it s a perfect exchange I like their walk-in beer cooler. I will keep going as long as the prices are competitive to the outside.

The Navy Exchange is always a good place to shop. The prices can start a bit high at times, BUT their sales are great. They have a pretty good selection and hopefully you can find most things here. Not all the popular designer brands but they really aren't necessary. Love love love the military exchange stores.

The staff make this place! They are always smiling and happy. Always conversating and friendly. They work hard to ensure we are happy and show a genuine appreciation of the Military. Be patient customers as some are still learning but trying their best.

They aren't the lowest price in town but if you price match with Amazon or any big retailers they match up pretty well. With free wifi I log on to Amazon and price match. This is a small exchange built around mainly older navy retirees. The customer service is really friendly and helpful. Haven't had a bad experience.

Sales were unbelievable today ! 4 pairs of shoes , including Nikes and other popular brands, along with everything else purchased and only spent 100 dollars ! Great Exchange, usually shop at West Points exchange but was in the area, very very happy and pleasant experience.

I would like to see them have more of a variety Of items. I would like to see them have more sales on liquor. I do understand They have done Some remodelings. I would say take a look at the navy exchange in Jacksonville Florida let that be your guide.

I love this place. No matter what, all of the employees, even when they are busy, reconize my presence and come to ask if there is anything they can help me with. And if they are with another customer, I am td.thst that will be right with me. The pharmacy goes beyond what other pharmacy's do, in asking if I want to wait for my prescription to be filled, and if not, what would be a good time for me to come in and get it. They too are very polite and courteous.

If you work on PAX NAS, this place is a definite go to for more or less anything. Here, you have the choice of a shopping center (which has just been refurbished two or three months ago, and also stocks alcohol (a large plus in MD), electronics, foods (not perishables like groceries), outdoor equipment and much more), a hair cuttery, a pharmacist (for perscriptions), and a food court with a choice of Panda Express, Wayback Burgers, and Greenberry coffee. Now this place has been renovated one would think it was built yesterday. Very friendly staff, good service, meticulously clean, this is a great amenity to have on a Military base.

I'm in town and thought I'd grab a quick haircut. I waited 15 minutes. I had the next number. A gentleman in civilian clothes was allowed to cut in front of me and the two uniformed members that were waiting. When the next barber was available she announced "next in uniform". When I realized both uniformed members would go ahead of me since I was told "sorry....its after 11" I walked out. The civilian clothed person cut me off right at 11:05 If you are going to give uniformed persons front of line (which I agree with) then please be consistent. My time waiting started at 1045. The civilian who cut in front of me at the two uniformed members showed up after 11. I'm not as upset with the civilian as I am with the staff that allowed him skip waiting.

The nex always has great thing to offer most of there employees are very nice and helpfull. Its always clean, stocked up pretty well. Dont expect them to have a big selection on alot of products, being they are small. For the most part they a good place to go when u wanna stay away from that three notch traffic. O definitely dont expect them to sale food like many other nex. They have more snack like on the go things like chips, candy, and sodas. Alcohol is a definitely must get there they usually have the best prices around there and always have something on sale. If u are looking for food the nex gas station is for you if for some reason the commissary is a no go. For a small nex they are not to bad sometimes its frustrating like i said they are small and everyone usually goes there so sometimes they may and will be out of things you may need so definitely not a last min shopping spot for important things like for the kids lol.

The Exchange has been recently expanded. There is a very large selection of Wines, Beers and Spirts. A nice Audio/ Visual section. A large selection of small appliances and clothing. The food court only has 3 food vendors. Also there is a GNC, hair salon and Barber shop plus the Pharmacy.

The exchange overall doesn't make any sense as to where things are located and they are more expensive than in town. The pharmacy is ridicules. Even when your Dr. Sends over a prescription you still have to go in in person and activate it (yes there is usually a wait) and then you have to wait on it to be filled. ( I've NEVER waited for less than a half an hour and that was at off peak hours) due to the never changing issues I almost never use the NEX or the pharmacy anymore.

Stopped by to get a hair cut. Waited over forty five minutes. I understand the head of line privilege for uniform but some guy missed his number being called. Not one but five of them. He was sitting right there Then he realized he missed his number and then they took him ahead of me. Unsat. I left...

This NEX barely has anything. Beer and liquor prices are good. Better be on your toes for sales because people will buy it up fast. Employee's need to be retrained on ID'ing US service members in uniform. I can understand if I'm in uniform buying beer, liquor or cigarettes to get ID'd, but buying soda or uniform items in uniform and getting ID'd, doesn't make sense. Whoever the GM is needs to get fired along with the rest of management. Nothing gets promulgated or advertised and they aren't as involved with the base or military community like it is at other bases.

The NEX sent me a $10 birthday gift card...tried using it today and was advised I must spend $20 to redeem it. My purchase was $12.95. No "small print" indicating the term.... frustrating.

Very pleasant experience. Isles are too narrow all over though. Need to really know your prices at the NEX. Alot sold here is cheaper off base comparing brand to brand.

It is on the Navy base and is kind of like a Wal-Mart or Target for the military. Prices can be good but like anywhere it depends on the item. This NEX is not big but has a reasonable variety. The food court is lame, but the whole NEX is being expanded to open January 2018ish.

The new facility is still wall to wall old people clothing. They have no kids toys. I think they have a larger alcoholic area then a shoe department. That is pathetic. Since it became a profitable entity, everything is over priced. They need to check out other exchanges and see their selections. If you want a real selection, the Marine Corps Exchange Quanitco.

Shopping foodsaver vacuum machine nex have two on display. Asked for assistance to buy one. None available. Asked for manager. Manager Joann not available according to floor person. I asked to buy the display model. I was told they cannot sell display because they "might" get more in. I asked what if you dont get more in.... ahhh well you can order online. Wrong answer they seemed not to know the policy on display items. I have purchased display items in the past. So joann please answer with the policy on displayed items and if they are not available why are they displayed.
