I had 2 quotes. One from a national franchise and the other from Bar Harbor Auto Body. While the nationally owned company had a lower quote, it was only a $50 difference. I chose Bar Harbor because it was independently owned, and I wanted to support a small business. There was a small missing understanding, but I paid as the job was complete and left. The next day, the owner did some investigating. He called me to offer an opportunity to fix the understanding. He was humble and genuine with regard to his findings. As a customer, I appreciate those who know how to be human with their clients, and that business is more than just a transactional interaction. Thank you.

Outstanding! I picked Bar Harbor based on the fact I couldn't find a single review less than 5 Stars and was not disappointed. Matt and his team worked hard to insure my insurance company could not skimp on our claim and the end result of the work was phenomenal. Highly, highly recommend Bar Harbor

After looking at reviews, we chose Bar Harbor for the work on my daughter s mustang. To say I was impressed and more than pleased w their work is an understatement! The quality work is impeccable. Mike & Stacey kept us up to speed on all the details and process. Highly recommend for your body work!!!!!

Outstanding work and service! Tackled major paint issues likely from artillery fungus in addition to some other body damage repair. In addition had them do the headlight restoration and ceramic coat. Looks like new! In addition to excellent work they are so pleasant and efficient. Mike walked me through every bit of my repair and ensured my car was fixed to manufacture standards versus how my insurance company wanted to repair it(a cheap shortcut way). He took many hours of his own time to teach me about and guide me through the process. I won t go anywhere else but Bar Harbor and I recommend the same to you!

I ve known mike and all the guys for a few years. I finally decided to treat myself and buy a new cowl hood for my truck. Mike made the entire process so easy for me. He allowed me to get the hood directly shipped to his shop and informed when it arrived and that it was not damaged. My truck is my pride and joy and I knew I could only trust one shop to do everything the correct way and that they did. Mike kept me up to date every step of the way and sent me pictures to keep me up to date on how it was going. The painter Steve is incredible at what he does and takes his time to make sure it s perfect for the customer. The body man Austin did great work fitting the hood and repairing the fenders. All the body lines look perfect. Looks just like it came from the factory. Austin even went the extra step and called me and went over the entire estimate with me and told me the final price to make sure I was happy with everything. I ve been around a lot of body shops over the years and bar harbor is definitely one of my favorite shops. If your looking for a shop that you can trust and that does excellent work trust me take it to bar harbor.Service: Painting

Mike and his team has done work for me for the last 7 years. I will not go anywhere else. They have done everything from custom work to accident repair and comes through everytime. Definatly treated and feel like family every time I stop by. I've attached pics of some of the vehicles they have worked on for me.

After being rear-ended, I took my car to Bar Harbor for an estimate on repairs. My car mechanically has not been in the best shape even prior to the accident. Mike and Stacey at Bar Harbor spent so much time really helping me through the entire process. After an evaluation and several discussions, Mike let me know the car probably isn't worth the repairs. I can't say enough how refreshing it is to have a nice honest company who will give you the best advice even at the cost of them losing potential business. Due to their honesty, transparency, knowledge, friendliness, and thorough and quick communication, they will be my go-to autobody shop in the future if the need again arises. As a single woman (who is on a budget and doesn't know much about cars), I was so grateful for the help and guidance, I can't say enough good things.

I did not have the opportunity to use Bar Harbor for a vehicle repair-YET, but I absolutely will in the future. I called them for help regarding a vehicle that we needed to have repaired and the customer service was the best I have ever experienced. Mike was the most genuine, caring, and knowledgable about our situation. We will be back with all future needs and I highly recommend that you use them too. He treats his customers exactly how you would want your family treated. He has set the bar high!

WOW!!!!!!!!! I really can't say anymore than that! These guys are superstars and true professionals who take on the headaches that insurance claims bring in order to ensure the customer is #1! After my car was damaged in an accident, I figured it was a great opportunity to have some upgraded parts installed at the same time and I would just pay the difference. Bar Harbor not only made it happen, but did it for less than a $30 difference from the original parts. I was so grateful b/c I didn't realize the logistics and paperwork that went on behind the scenes to make it happen given the insurance company's repair constraints. It was completely transparent to me, which was awesome. Again, Bar Harbor works for the customer! While my car was there, I also had them do an oil change as well. Figured, two birds, one stone. THEY CAN DO IT ALL! Once my car was complete, I COULD NOT believe the results! Better than new! Car is beautiful! And they even took the initiative to clean the inside of my car as part of the repair services while it was there!Down to earth people, who truly love what they do! Even the owner called me personally to give me an update on finalizing the work - wow! I CANNOT overstate the quality of service or work you get from Bar Harbor. It is the most COMPLETE experience you'll ever have.Whether you need routine maintenance, auto detailing or body repairs, Bar Harbor does it all! And they are truly the best! SUPERIOR QUALITY doesn't even began to describe what you get. Go see Bar Harbor. Doesn't matter what you drive, they can work on it. It will be the BEST decision you'll ever make for your vehicle! Stopped by for a quote and Matt took a look at the scratches on my truck. He used a repair compound on my truck and in 5 minutes the scratches were gone! This place is great! I definitely understand why they have a 5 star review. Awesome customer service not in the business of trying to waste time or make a quick dollar. A truly awesome business I will support again in the future.

Our car was in an accident and we couldn t find any body shop that d take it for at least 6+ weeks. The kind folks at Bar Harbor sympathized with our situation and squeezed us into their busy schedule. Everyone we spoke with there was very kind and patient with dealing with all our questions, concerns, and the back and forth between the insurance company. The work done on the car was excellent as well. I d recommend Bar Harbor to anyone. Thanks again!

The 5 stars are well earned. We have an S2000 that was in need of a refresh. I stopped by to talk about what it would take. Mike and his staff were very helpful, explaining what needed to be done. They were knowledgeable and enthusiastic about automobiles. The car needed a paint job, the gaps tightened and some body clips replaced. Mike and his staff (thanks Austin!) took great care of us and the car throughout the process. When we went to pick it up we were stunned. It was as good as new! They even took the time to explain all the things that were done, such as body panels, doors and bumpers removed and refinished, and panel gaps adjusted. They even made suggestions for the care and maintenance to help prolong the appearance of the car. Unequivocally five stars - for customer service, quality of work. I would highly recommend Bar Harbor for anyone in need of auto body services.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I had my windshield replaced at Bar Harbor Auto Body. Mike and Chris were outstanding and very accommodating. They even gave me a ride to work after I dropped off my car! They went above and beyond each step of the way and delivered my car freshly washed and in great condition. And, of course, the work was perfectly done. Highly recommended!

I have used Bar Harbor Auto Body for multiple vehicles, I cannot say enough good things about everyone there!! I would be writing for days to list all the good things about their work and them as people!!Some of the most honest, genuine, caring, and reliable people I have had the privilege of knowing.They worked with me and did everything in their power to get my vehicle back to me as fast as possible and if anything was off took care of it immediately.In the world we live in today especially service like this doesn't exist anymore and they were like this before Covid and have only enhanced their service.I cannot thank them enough and recommend them to everyone!!Services: Tires, Painting

I am overwhelmed with gratitude. Mike and his team has done a stellar job on my car. The work is so neatly & professionally done. My car was in an accident, but Mike made sure after all the repairs were complete that my car looked as good as new! He constantly kept me informed along the way about the next step or part that he needed to order for my vehicle. I thought that was simply amazing because he went above and beyond to make sure I was assured that my car was in good hands and I had no reason to worry. Thanks Mike. You all did a Phenomenal job making my car look as good as new, and went above and beyond and I would recommend Bar Harbor Auto Body to others as well. Mike Davis, in particular, was very helpful and attentive to me. Thank you for making me feel like you cared for my Chrysler as if it were your own. I would like to thank you for prompt attention, updates, and fulfilling all of the needs of my car. The thorough explanation of the repair process was very much APPRECIATED. Glad to know there is a trustworthy Body Shop with kind personnel working on behalf of your customer! Overall, I enjoyed my experience with Bar Harbor and I'm completely satisfied, and the car looks great.

I ve had a total of three insurance claims in which Bar Harbor repaired my vehicle. I am so pleased with their professionalism and quality of service. The owners were very attentive in keeping me informed of the status of my vehicle. As you can see, I received my vehicle back in top notch condition. I highly recommend Mike and his team at Bar Harbor.

Big thank you to the great customer service and workmanship to Mike and his team. Mike kept me in the loop every step of the way, took a while to find the part we needed, no fault of his but he kept me posted and went above and beyond what was needed. Mike took the time on every call to go over where they were, next steps, findings when removing truck bed and much more in a way I could understand (I am not a car guy but the time he took to explain things made me understand). Mike and his team were so professional and helpful with my car repairs. I was nervous and unsure what to do, but Mike helped me make the best decision for my car and I. We ended up running the repairs through insurance. Mike was very diligent about following up with the Insurance Rep and he even got me a discount on my deductible! I was very pleased with the repairs done by Bar Harbor Auto Body and the great customer service.

I had an accident in my Toyota Tundra, once I and case number from the insurance company that was responsible for paying for repairs, I search online in the Glen Burnie, MD, for a auto body shops. I found Bar Harbor Auto body came up with a excellent rating. Once I made contact with the owner Mr. Mack Davison and his manager Mr. Chris Rouse, they took care of my situation with my vehicle as true professional that they are in my opinion. Their communication with Insurance company to process the damage and repair through communication was excellent with myself, know all aspect of the vehicle, going into deep reserch what had to repair and the operation after everything was done. They let me know what happing and what my part was in the process. All in all I very happy with the performance. I recommend them highly for knowledge and technical expertise.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Excellent quality work!!!! I brought my 2006 Acura TL into Bar Harbor Auto Body after I had been dinged in my drivers side quarter panel. I figured since I had my car in the shop anyway I would ask Mike if he could do some extra work. (repair old damage on rear drivers side door, smoke the tail lights & rear side marker lamps, and repair and custom paint the wheels) The repairs and custom work that his guys did turned out fantastic! I was absolutely amazed when I pulled up and saw my car. The damaged spots had been restored to look better than when it rolled off the showroom floor when it was brand new. When I brought my car home, my neighbor told me that he thought I had "bought a new ride". I am very satisfied with the quality and workmanship of the work that Mike did on my car, as well as the ease of the entire process. (which can be a nightmare) He took care of everything from lining up the rental to communicating with my insurance company. I will continue to use this body shop for any future problems I may have, or if I want to get some more custom work done! I HIGHLY recommend this shop to anyone that needs accident damage repaired, old damage repaired, fixes to poor quality repairs, or custom work done on their vehicle. The quality and service are top notch. Mike and his staff make you feel like you are family! All I can say is Thank You!

I brought my 2015 civic si in when I ran into a guard rail. The front left was completely destroyed and I was prepared for a long repairing process. The car was fixed completely in under 2 weeks. I could not be any happier with the service I received from Bar Harbor Auto Body. My vehicle looks better than before and the paint job was done very well. The communication between the shop and my insurance went very smoothly as this can be a time consuming process. I was treated like family here. Overall I had a great experience dealing with this shop and I would recommend them to any of my family or friends. 10/10 !!!!!!!!

Amazing! My experience with Bar Harbor was far above any other customer service I have ever had with my vehicle or for that matter any other agency I have had to deal with as of late. They were personable, professional, thorough, honest, and my car looked brand new when they completed the service on it. I highly recommend them and when I say they were above and beyond, it is not an exaggeration!

Bar Harbor is the best auto body company I have ever dealt with - and it is the ONLY one I will ever deal with. The customer service, professionalism, and quality of work is top notch. I met with Chris Rouse and Mike Davidson to discuss a myriad of body issues and parts availability on my minivan, including a persistent water leak problem that other pros wrestled with to no avail. Chris was able to secure several parts that were previously hard to find, offered meaningful suggestions, solved the leakage problem and fix many other cosmetic and functional issues, resulting in finished minivan that was in the best condition it had ever been in. In particular, they had to focus on a rear window problem that stubbornly resisted their efforts to repair, but Chris and mechanic Blue and others hung in there patiently until they resolved the matter. I dare say other body shops would have set fire to the thing in frustration, but the team at Bar Harbor are patient and very adept at facing challenges and winning results, as indicated by all of the excellent reviews. These guys are fantastic. They made me a customer for life.

Bar Harbor is the best auto body company I have ever dealt with and it is the only one I will ever deal with. The customer service, professionalism, and quality of work is top notch. In and out in 4 days and my car never looked better. Thank you Chris and Mike.

I have had the misfortune of wrecking my vehicle a few times, but Bar Harbor Auto Body has been there with me every time. Mike Davidson (the owner) and his team are incredibly patient, thorough and just overall a delight to work with. Mike was a great advocate with my insurance company to help me get the best for my car. A+ for service

I got caught in a 4 car pile up and my brakes blew out. The owner, Mike, gave me a great deal and helped get things taken care of with my insurance. Mike and his crew got my truck taken care of and out of the door in an extremely quick and professional manner. When i got the call to come pick up my truck, I was amazed at how quickly it was done for the amount of work that needed to get done to it. When I showed up to pick up my truck, it looked as good as the day I bought it. I couldn't be happier with my choice to take my truck to Bar Harbor Auto Body. I will continue to take my business there whenever I need work on my truck!
