I went to a birthday party last night at my brothers house and my car broke down so I left it and got an Uber back home! Today I requested a AAA tow service and they send me Crist from ARS Towing but when he arrived he asked me for my license and my AAA card when I wasn t with the car anymore so I asked my brother to provide the key to the tow truck driver but Crist actually REFUSED to tow my car trough AAA membership and want it to charge me $250 cash for towing my car which I declined because of my AAA membership coverage so they left and did not provide the tow service. Very Disappointed and I would NOT recommend anyone to use this company

No one wants to need a towing company, but if you do have a need, I recommend Affordable Roadside Service. The driver was friendly and helpful. The staff was considerate and friendly. We met with them three times and each time was a positive experience.

Rather than Affordable Roadside's driver, John C. pulling into my driveway, he parked along the shoulder of the highway, causing me to repeatedly call AAA as to his whereabouts. I went down to the highway and told him to come up the driveway. He said he preferred letting the "car roll down to him". He had a little truck (not a flatbed) and he went SPEEDING off with my car to a shop that was only 20 minutes away. One hour and a half later, the mechanic called inquiring about the whereabouts of the car! Called Affordable Roadside and its spokesperson kept insisting the car was at the mechanic's. I had given this John C. an envelope with large lettered instructions to call the mechanic upon his arrival so he could be directed as to where to park the car. Its a very large shop, side by side with various dealerships. Instead he just walks into the front office and "drops the keys on a desk". It took them an hour to find where the car was parked and another hour to locate the keys. Never will I deal with Affordable Roadside again and I will encourage AAA not to do so either.

I want to give a special thank you to Adam for all of his help last night. He was professional, considerate and just amazing! Meeting under these circumstances can be stressful but he made it simple. That means a lot ! Can not recommend this company enough!

I highly recommend ARS!!!! Chris was so friendly and knowledgeable! He even tried to fix the issue before towing it. This is a company that is not out for the money but truly cares for the customer!!

Terrible communication. I was told my vehicle would be picked up in 30 minutes. Two hours later when I called to ask why it was still not picked up they told me to call someone else. I wish there were a way to leave fewer stars.

I spoke to Harry and he wont resolve this so im posting my experience.My car is disabled (tie rod) and i asked for a flatbed because it has all wheel drive system.Driver showed up almost 2 hours later and said he couldnt help unless i had a tow hook. So he glanced around the car and didnt see any hook at sight and said he couldnt help me. So i started looking and found it. i quickly approched him showing the hook. He said he couldnt help me and didnt want to explain again. And he already call someone else to come out.Well i called the office and no one was coming out and now im calling AAA for a different tow company.The managers at the office were not helpful and this was my experience.I hope they improve. And hopefully this review helps.3/16/21 responding to owner's response.I feel owner did not address to my complains. Just excuses.Yes, you were hired to do the towing job. Yes its through AAA. But you were hired to do the job. Its not like a different company was hired and showed up late and couldnt tow an car like this. See picture.If you are not able to tow car car in this condition, maybe you should let your customer know in advance. Dont call you if car has any accident damage like this? You are welcome to use this picture and post on your website as an example that you wont tow cars in this condition.Shame on you.Service: Car towing

Took care of my car after it was flipped and in a bad accident, brought it back to the tow yard and was very patient with me. Let me retrieve my things and locked in the price for me while I waited on MVA to get my duplicate title. Very kind people.

I needed my car towed to a specialty shop. Gave affordable roadside service a call. The person that answered the phone was very professional. And was able to get a truck out toe within 30 minutes.About 30 minutes later the truck arrived. Chris and his partner were very friendly and also professional. Chatting with them I felt like I was leaving my car in good hands. The whole process took maybe 5 minutes. Overall a great experience and I will use them again if I need towing services

Let me tell you why I highly recommend ARS. My car had been stolen and was missing for almost two weeks. I got a call from PD stating that my car was found and was being towed to ARS. All of the reps there were so helpful from the video chat to my arrival to the ARS tow yard. The owner also helped me problem-solve how to get my car to my dealership, and often checked on me while I was on the phone with my insurance. I really felt comfortable, not rushed, and that they actually cared about my well-being. Thank you so much for making that day so much less stressful. Truly grateful, RoseService: Car towing

These guys are great. They sent a tow truck but realized they needed a different one to tow mine. They sent a second truck out within 20 minutes. Due to the problems I had with my truck, it took a while longer to get it hooked up, but the guy was patient and knowledgeable. I rode with him to where I was towing to, but we had a hiccup on the drive. He kept me safe and worked diligently to get us back on the road. I'd recommend them for any towing need you have! They're also reasonably priced and stuck to the quoted price I received over the phone even after the issues we had.

I was just stranded on the side of the road in Deale. ARS was contracted through triple a to come change my tire. I had the car jacked up and simply needed the tool to remove the plastic caps on the lug nuts (a flathead or any pry tool.) ARS showed up in a road side van with tools. Their technician refused to get out of the van or help me. Without looking at the vehicle he left, canceled my triple a service call and tried to tow my vehicle for a fee.ARS purposely canceled my triple a service call under false pretenses to try and sell me a tow that would have otherwise been covered under my triple a policy. This was confirmed after I called triple a immediately after the van technician left. Triple a told me he wrote in his notes that I canceled willingly. I never canceled my service. He refused to assist and decided I needed a tow. He canceled my triple a service so he could charge me for that tow. That tow would have been covered under my triple a gold policy.This company has fraudulent business practices and this will be escalated to all state agencies that regulate them. This is unacceptable and this company is predatory.Triple a did apologize and said ARS s behavior was inappropriate and violated their agreement. I will be contacting the attorney general s office.I figured it out on my own with a pocket knife in the pouring rain in pitch black darkness. Thanks for the help? I still can t believe a van full of tools pulled up and refused to help me. All so you could circumvent triple a and charge me money.I wonder how many cases like this will appear if ARS is investigated. This clearly wasn t their first rodeo. Triple a was extremely concerned on the phone and promised me follow up. I will be following up.How many folks has ARS done this to?And why does ARS have a road side assistance vehicle with a technician that doesn t do road side assistance? Triple a said per their agreement that the vehicle has all the tools necessary to assist me. Why did ARS choose to not assist me?

I needed my car towed and was told it would be 1 1/2 hrs. John C. arrived in 20 minutes. He was fast very efficient getting my car up on tow truck. My car needed to go to Glen Burnie and he got it there and dropped it off. I wish all towers were like John C. HE NEED A RAISE!!!!!!

Needed my car towed to the shop this morning. I called and was quoted a reasonable price and a 30 min arrival time. Charles was to tow operator. He showed up with a friendly smile within the 30min window and charged the quoted price. Very happy and will use their services in the future.Service: Car towingService: Car towing

5 stars for the customer service!My car's Anti-Theft system was keeping me from starting the car so I called Affordable to have it towed to the dealer. They were extremely nice about my situation and the price was reasonable. After I got off the phone I was able to push the car to a better position for the driver to load it, and for whatever reason I decided to try to start it one more time and lo and behold, it started. I called the company again to tell them what happened and told me that it was ok and they'll cancel the pick up (the driver was extremely close by too) I felt bad but they were perfectly fine with it and wished me the best with the car.Thanks again guys!

My husband and I traveled to Glen Burnie from St. Leonard and we broke down in the evening. ARS was the first place we called for help and Chris and his son showed up! They were WONDERFUL and truly a life saver! Chris towed us to advanced auto fir a battery and when that didn't work, he towed us to Calvert County, dropped off the truck at our auto mechanics and then TOOK US HOME! This kind of service is unprecedented and unfound nowadays! These to men displayed such kindness and care that I would give them 20 stars if I could! Great service. A family member was in an auto accident and affordable Roadside Service {ARS} Towing was the company used to tow the car. Adam an employee of ARS came out to tow my truck. He was the 2nd tow truck driver dispatched. My ball joint was on the ground and the tire would move. Adam knew how to handle the situation. My car wouldn't start after being parked at a commuter bus lot all day. Chris came to check my car. He was very thorough and polite. After performing several tests, he gave my battery a boost and I was good to go! This was the best roadside service experience I've had in a long time. Thank you Chris!

I accidentally locked my car keys in my trunk at the airport and needed roadside. They came expeditiously but the service tech was not very people oriented. He asked me irrelevant questions and other than the service provided he was unhelpful in other ways. He didn t even know how to get my trunk open from inside the car. I had to Google it and figure it out myself.

ARS was very knowledgeable and very helpful after my nephew had a minor car accident. They towed his car to their shop and stored it until we could find a repair shop and then they towed it to the repair shop for a reasonable fee... They are also an AAA Affiliated Tow Facility. Definitely would recommend Affordable Roadside Service!

Recently I needed a tow. So, I called AAA and they dispatched a towing service to my location. Which at the time was a theater that was 117 miles from my mechanic. After a reasonable wait, ARS showed up, and things immediately began to improve. The driver's name was Chris, and from the get go his demeanor and professionalism made a frustrating situation much better. As an experienced driver for FedEx for many years, I knew right away this young man was a pro. He had me hooked up and secure in just a few minutes and we were on our way. During our trip, we had conversations covering many topics. Life, family, travel, and numerous other topics. Not once during our trip did Chris ever forget about safety!!! I normally do not like riding shotgun, but Chris gave me absolutely nothing to worry about. Rambling somewhat I know, but I want to make clear to ARS and anyone thinking of using them that this man is an asset to the company!!! Chris, you know who you are. Well done!!

Carlos V. was excellent this morning. My five year old battery in my 2001 Land Cruiser finally died. AAA dispatched him and he was at my house in 30 minutes. The battery was shot and he got AAA to approve a new one and I was on my way in no more than 40 minutes. Will definitely recommend.

I needed to tow my car for some repairs today so called ARS. Within 30 minutes, my car was on a shiny flatbed truck headed to my dealer's shop. The truck operator, Tony L, was courteous, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. It's so great to know that professional towing help is just a phone call away!
