I really wanted to like this place since it's so close to my home and had great reviews. However, I can't comment on their work. I've given it three stars due to my experience while seeking an estimate and trying to schedule an appointment.Chris Gomez initially assisted me and provided a quote, which he wrote on the back of his business card for Michelin and Goodyear tires (see pic). I found this unprofessional and odd, but he assured me it was valid if I scheduled an appointment. So, I went about my day, planning to get back to them.Later, I called and spoke with a gentleman named Dave to schedule the appointment for the tires I was quoted. To my surprise, he gave me a significantly higher price for different tires. I mentioned the lower quote I had received from Chris for Goodyear and Michelin tires. Dave asked me to text him the picture of the back of Chris's card, but I never received a response after that.I was quite disappointed with the lack of communication and transparency regarding the quoted prices, as I had been ready to schedule my van serviced.

They were great with customer service on the phone answering all questions I had, told me the time frame to head in for a motorcycle safety inspection, greeted promptly upon entering, and was quickly attended to by front desk personnel. The Safety Inspector came out shortly afterwards, friendly and cool, inspected the bike, answered additional questions, complimented my bike, suggested riding routes and wished me well - I appreciated the genuineness. I was there maybe 30 min from start to finish, which was great!

Exceptional Service and Expertise! I 've been bringing my 2021 Toyota and 2017 Lexus cars to Graeves Auto and Tire the regular maintenance and I couldn't be more impressed with the service I received. The staff is extremely professional and nice, and always try to limit cost of upkeep and repairs. Auto repairs and tires always suck but they make it bearable. Just picked up my truck for tires and mechanical repair and the inside is completely clean with water and they even left the wheel locks out so I would know where they were. (and in this case, that I had them at all). That is not the reason I use Graves, but it exemplifies what I love about this shop. Being there reminds me of auto shops over 35 years ago. The employees seem to take real ownership. The owners obviously cultivate a family atmosphere and professionalism. Most might not notice the entire shop lit up at dawn completely clean and ready to go for a busy day, but I do. It is the little things that remind me I am in the right place when I take my cars in.

I was genuinely impressed with the prompt service provided for my car at this auto & tire repair shop. It's a rarity to find such efficient and quick service, and I wish there were more services like this in the area.

After having to cancel with another auto shop to get the AC fixed on my pride and joy vehicle, I called Graeves, and Jim fixed the AC issue. Turn around time was 2 days and the job was less costly than the other auto shop, very happy.Thank you Jim and Graeves TeamPJ

I ve gone back and forth on this because I don t like to speak ill of a local business, but given the money I ve spent at this shop I think one mildly negative review is just a small cost of doing business. The shop is good for tires and oil change, but if you have a check engine light on I d go somewhere else. Mine kept flashing on and off, and they told me they could not identify the scan code if the check engine light was not on at the time they checked it. But this shouldn t be the case as any good scanner can read the codes stored on the car computer. Since they said the scanner showed no codes, they recommended fixes that had nothing to do with the real problem, and in this way they got extra money.

I had to have my son s motorcycle inspected since he passed on active duty and the bike was being retitled. From the moment I walked in and handed them my keys to the time I left, they were great. The inspection didn t take much time and I got a full report on the bike. And as I sat in the waiting area, I listened to how respectful the guys at the desk were to each and every customer to me, that s a real family business atmosphere. It also seemed like several people dropping off vehicles were long-time customers, which says a lot about Graeves and their superior service. I read the online reviews about quality work, honesty, and wanting to give each customer an awesome experience and found that Graeves did not disappoint.Service: Vehicle Inspection

Took my motorcycle here for an inspection and they were extremely friendly and took my info down and got right to work on my inspection, very nice staff and they did inform me that they do inspections but if anything needed to be fixed that they don t work on motorcycles but they will inspect them which was great up front information so if any repairs needed to be made I was aware they re not able to do them. They said it would be about 30-45 minutes for the inspection and I was welcome to hangout in their very cool waiting area with a fridge full of waters for their customers and some comfy chairs, along with magazines, toys/legos for kids and coloring pages. Overall a very nice experience here and it was worth the drive up here to get that kind of service and professionalism.Service: Vehicle Inspection

I had low tire pressure and brought my car here. Everyone who helped were very accommodating and welcoming from the person who checked me in to ANDREW who took my car in the back and found the source of leak and repaired it for me. My Nissan service center suggested that I get new back brake pads for my 2020 Nissan Rouge sport. Mind you it only has 17000 miles. They also wanted a lot of money for this service. So since I have used Graeves auto for past vehicles, I decided to get an estimate from them and it was half the price! That's not the great news!This is exactly the kind of service center I would recommend to everyone! The mechanics found out that I didn't need any brake work done! He even asked me was I sure they recommended that. YES, I HAVE IT IN WRITING.The honesty at Graeves is astonishing! This is definitely where I will trust my vehicle now, and in the future. I have used Graves in the past with no issues. I normally had to drop my vehicle off for overnight. I called last week to check on the procedure for a wheel alignment. I was told come in early and I should be done before noon. I arrived today about 8:30 am. Dave checked me in. Dave asked if I had an appointment. I did not. He said it would be awhile. I walked across the lot to get a coffee and came right back to have a seat in the waiting area. Dave asked me where are you going? I said to have seat in the waiting area. He then said do you have anyone to pick you up? I said no I came prepared to wait. I have my work with me. Dave then said I couldn t wait . I ask why couldn t I wait? What s the waiting area for? Am I bothering someone? Dave said your vehicle is a drop off I said ok again I am prepare d to wait for it. I asked why can t I wait for it? Finally Dave said you can wait . I counted 14 seats in the waiting room this Monday morning with only one person waiting when I arrived. Dave s customer service was at the very least was rude and aggressive. I hope that my vehicle service is the high quality that I have experienced in the past. Again I came prepared to wait for my vehicle something that I have never done here before but didn t think it would be an issue for Dave.Service: Wheel alignment

What a great group of folks!I was limping home on a slowly deflating tire. I stopped by a tire store from whom I purchased tires some time ago. No customers were in the store. Man at the desk in a rude voice said it would be 45-60 minutes before someone could look at it and didn't know how long it would take to repair; they work on appointments. I said I didn't plan to get a flat tire and I left. I was worried about driving home.I called Graeves. I was told to come right away. I drove for 20 minutes to get there and was told it may be 30-45 minutes. In less than that amount of time, I was handed my key fob, told there had been a bolt lodged in the tire which they removed and had plugged the tire. When I asked how much I owed, I was surprised to hear them say "NO CHARGE! Have a good rest of your day." Am Iback in the 50's??? Thank you Graeves. You will be getting my future business

Really professional looking shop. Joe provided me with excellent customer service. He was kind and communicative. I only needed a very minor repair done today (that another shop tried to rip me off on) so they have certainly earned my future business.

I went in with a nail in my tire. They got to it really quickly. I went in to pay and they said that the service was free of charge and that they had already reset my car s tire pressure monitoring system! I was completely surprised and totally satisfied. What a great marketing tool because now I know where I will go when I need new tires or other services to my car. Thank you!Service: Tires

This is a very nice place for auto repairs and tire installations. We purchased a set of 4 Cooper tires from Graves and had them installed on our Highlander. Great workmanship and pleasant staff. Chris was very nice to work with. My only concern was that they didn't provide the alignment sheet to show the before and after settings. Highly-recommended !!!

With the snow coming tomorrow, and knowing my tires that came with my new car are horrendous in the snow, I called Graeves hoping to get new tires put on today. (I tried Wilson s first but they couldn t get the tires in today)I spoke to Jack before 9am. He said he can get the tires to the shop by 4/4:30. I told him, I must get these on the car tonight. Otherwise, I will take my car somewhere else. He said he will do his best to get them there today and we can get them put on. Great!!! Order them I called back around 2:30, again the tires are on the delivery truck and should be here at 4/4:30. I asked if they would call me. The answer I got was we always call the customer as soon as they get here .I pulled up to their shop at 4:30, tires were sitting right outside the door. Thinking okay, they didn t call, but it awesome. I made a good decision. Guy front desk, bald dude . Don t know his name, totally rude you can t walk in here at 4:30 and expect us to do this I told him that I made these arrangements before 9am. I said, they must be on the car today, otherwise I would have gone elsewhere. He said and ? I told him I called again at 2:30 and was told they will be there at 4:30. He said and ? He said it will not be done today. I walked out.I tried to give Graeves a chance, after hearing horror stories about this place in the past. I tried to give this local shop my business. Never again. I have NEVER been treated so poorly. They totally screwed me and they were beyond rude doing it. I could have gone into Rockville or Silver Spring and had it done right here and then. However I try to work with local businesses when possible.Ordered the same tires from Wilson s and made an appointment for next week. Tomorrow will suck, but will never work with Graeves again.

Scott took great care of my vehicles for over 20 years before I moved. Even better, he is a very generous supporter of the community, especially with Olney Days. I believe his son Kyle is maintaining this ethic.

Friendly, knowledgeable and fast. Had a flat tire and it was toward the end of their work day, but still took my tire to fix and I had my car back within 30 mins. Will definitely go back for other car needs.

Graeves has done a lot for my husband and me with our aging cars (circa 2010s) but yesterday they proved no service was too small!We've gone for several repairs, new tires, and the like, but yesterday I accidentally locked myself out of the car while getting gas across the street. After a moment of panic, I realized where I was and walked sheepishly over to Graeves. With no hesitation, Joe came over to help me unlock my car so I could continue on with my day.Joe was friendly, professional, and quick. I am SO GRATEFUL to have a shop like this in my community and look forward to continuing to go back time and time again. Thanks, Joe, and thanks, Graeves!
