Diesel marine engine service. Bad business. I gave them an alternator for a rebuild. They called back the next day saying that it was shot and that it would be $300 for a new one. This alternator goes for only $100 online. I like to buy from local businesses, but this is ridiculous. I told them no thanks, and that I'll take my old one back. They said they're going to have to charge me $50 for the "diagnostic" plus $6 to return my old one. Overpriced and bad service.

Generator crapped out at White Marlin Open. Called Edwards and they were at the slip within an hour. Diagnosed the problem and had a new actuator overnight to me the next day. Great fast and friendly service. Highly recommend!

I am in Key West and trying to find a way back to Ocean View De.This morning my mechanic had me call Edward Marine for a generator and sound package for my boat. The cost was ~ $10 100. . Ann (owner) said that I either get a check to her by Monday (impossible) or that she would charge me 3.5% for using my Citi Masyercard. So. So, I was upset and the $360 charge for doing nothing but chargong a credit card.A few hoirs later. I receive a message from Ann saying she could put less on the card and that I could bring her a check (no charge on a promisary note-what a check is until it clears the bank). So, when I receive the message, I call her back and she tells me she went ahead and charged me the $360 for using my mastercard.As soon as the card is approved. It is money in the bank.I called her back to tell her that at 67 years of age in the year 2020, I know of no vendors who apply a surcharge for using a credit card.I can't see this as anything but a rip off and feel others should know how this place expects money for swiping a card, so bring your check book and keep an eye on the charges.

Guys came last year during the white marlin open to put a fuel pump on my generator. Great service. Saved the day!

Good service and they stand behind their work. Not many Marine diesel mechanics in OC so it requires some patience during the busy season. Always treated me well.
