By far the best value for your money! The location is excellent! Sits on the lake, your own private beach and boat docks. Very nice indoor pool and spa/ jacuzzi. All the rooms have views and balconies overlooking the lake and they re situated at the widest point of the lake looking towards the state park. And the attached restaurant is awesome!

It is an older building, and the ceilings are a little low, but the location is great. Biggest problem was hearing a guy puking on the balcony directly over us both nights of our stay. The air ventilation system in the room did a good job of moving air in what would be a very stagnant room without it, but it was very loud. Still, I'd stay here again.

Will NOT be staying here again. So, so, so disappointed in the mattresses. Have stayed here twice and just wanted to let y'all know that it was the lumpiest, frumpiest mattress I've ever slept on. (Room A205 if the owners are reading this!!) My boyfriend and I both slept like crap and said it was actually painful - we are side sleepers. The whole decor of the room is nice, though the entire building is beyond dated.

Have been coming here for many years.This time it was horrible.Nasty condo with dirty and old carpet.Whole bunch of broken kitchen stuff.Pool and jacuzzi were closed for the most of our stay and kids board games were not there anymore.Look like owner getting every penny out of this place before selling it.Don't think will go back there again.Place used to be pretty good but not anymore.Rooms: Dirty and old carpet.All the curtains broken.Very old and outdated.

This room needed updates, shower drained very slow, kitchen table and chairs kept losing screws and falling apart, room smelled musty like old fireplace, WiFi kept losing connection so phones only worked at times, unable to use our Netflix, bed was right next to patio door, very cold, fireplace damper was open so very cold in room until I closed it I thought this room should have been a lower price, I ve stayed here before and other rooms were very nice, this room was priced the same as others

Condo was spacious and beds comfortable. View of lake was awesome. Great location. There was a very strong fireplace burning odor which was bothersome for my lung condition. Fireplace appeared clean but the flue must need cleaning. We ended up experimenting and left the AC fan on constantly instead of auto. Great location. Central to everything in the Deep Creek area. 3rd floor is great for access to pool and game room. Apartment had everything we needed. Housekeeping came by every day to see if we needed any towels, coffee, or paper products. You can dock your boat for free every night if you register with the front desk. Restaurant on site is scrumptious. Our only complaint is that a grumpy man kicked the kids out of the pool and the game room at 10 til every night. If the sign says 9 or 10, then the room should be open until 9 or 10.Rooms: Beds are hard but fine. One of the bedrooms is open to the living room below. Ugh. You hear everything both directions.Nearby activities: Central to many DCL activities.Food & drinks: We ate in Ace's Run THREE times!!!

Condos are quite nice! They provide soaps, paper towels and trash bags. The rooms have enough flatware and dishes and cups. Some have newer electric ranges, but even the older ones function well. We went with family, and everyone had their own space.The kids loved the pool and hot tub (though there was a LOT of chlorine). The outdoor area by the lake is really nice and has seats to set your stuff down at.

Our go to place every year for the perfect, relaxing birthday getaway. The staff are very helpful and pleasant. The amenities and condo provide a very enjoyable stay.Rooms: Furnishings, cleanliness, etc, at the highest standards.Safety: Felt 100% safe with parking, amenities, and rooms.

Overall grade A. We had 12 in our family group ages 1yr to 75 yrs.. Plenty to do for all and loads of fun. We rented 3 units; two were lovely the third needed some new carpeting and better beds. The shower doors in master bath were broken but the staff kindly and immediately fixed the problem All three units were nicely equipped and we loved the resort, the view and all the amenities. On site restaurants were very good and so convenient. Being able to dock the rental boat right there was perfect. The staff are first rate and friendly. We will be going back again.Nearby activities: Lots of activities for families like water sports, horseback riding and hiking in beautiful parks.

Horrible. I've been going there for 30 or more years: every spring and fall. This unit, 305 was the worst I've ever had and I've had a few rustic ones. Lumpy mattresses; broken blinds, broken dining room chairs; tubs that wouldn't drain, and drain holes that were very rusty. This unit should never have been rented.Nearby activities: near restaurants and close to the state parks

The place was so dirty and run-down that we were truly surprised to see someone pushing a cleaning cart down the hallway as we were checking out. We thought that, at best, they changed the sheets for new guests. But considering we found debris in at least two of the beds, we were not certain about the cleanliness of the sheets. We found popcorn on the floor upon arrival, and old food in the refrigerator. The freezer was frozen over. It is just not a clean place in any way, shape, or form. But the location is great, as are the two restaurants.Food & drinks: There were two restaurants on-site, and both were quite enjoyable.

Wonderful spot! We found these condos online and decided to check one out for a car show weekend. Absolutely great spot with a ton of destinations within walking distance. Views from the rooms are great! The building manager even made signs for our cars so we could have private parking! We enjoyed so much that we already booked another condo for a fishing trip in June! Can't wait to go back!

My family has stayed at Will O the Wisp for 25 years. We have stayed in #305/405 condo for at least 4 years.We love the location and the view which has brought us back year after year. Generally the staff have been helpful and accomodating to the extent they can be but explained to me this year the limitations they have based on owners and the HOA.There have been no improvements to our knowledge to this condo for the years we have stayed in it, as the cost to rent it increases. We requested the window shade be repaired last year and it was still broken this year. It is very heavy to hand roll up and down each day in order to see the view from this bedroom. The front desk staff informed me that it was up to the owner to fix the blind.The one bath tub has had rust around the drain for several years and backed up this year.The door chain on #405 has been broken since we started staying there. We had requested it be fix but it never was.The supply of kitchen pans is old and limited.Closing the pool, hot tub and game room at 9pm seems a little early.Will most likely stay here again since the layout meets our family space needs, has space for our boat and has an amazing view. It is disappointing that upgrades and repairs are not being made.

If you want to charge $$$$ prices, please PLEASE have $$$$ amenities! I love old and worn out things -it s one of my passions-a five star resort fee and stayed at a one star resort. if you are going to charge exorbitant fees to stay at your facility, have the amenities match that price tag. This,AT BEST, was a $69 per night hotel room stay. It is worn , it is old, not up to date at all. The heaters in the hallway had pieces coming off of them , not even attached to the wall. The doors were old. there were burnt out bulbs in the light fixtures. There was blood and snot maybe? on the wall in our room . the windows - you couldn t even see out of them because of how filthy they were. There was drywall chipping away from screwed in fixtures. It was just bad is very worn, very tired in need of a desperate facelift. The carpet was very drab in the hallways. Also, to note hallways are very narrow not enough for two people to pass, walking in each direction which would be quaint, but not feeling it in this capacity. The walls are filled with luggage marks because of this. The air vent had a lot of black mold around it. The bathroom oh -my -word! There was I think 4 light switches in there? The bathtub was very drab in need of a healthy clean. The vanity was very chipped. Our room had a loft and you could see the saggy bed from it. I would love to see this place with a facelift.

We rented a condo here for just two nights. It was really nice. The pool and hot tub were great. The room had a nice view of deep creek lake from the balcony. We will definitely be backNearby activities: Lots of things to do in deep creek.Walkability: Lots of trails. And can walk out of the hotel and walk less than a mile to get ice cream.Food & drinks: There is a restaurant inside the condo. Very good food.

Will O the Wisp is our family's go-to now. Units we rented out so far have all been clean, well kept up and stocked just right to make our stay easy and comfortable. This is a fantastic location that offers beautiful views right out the unit's window, on-site restaurant, as well as a few other restaurants and a convenience store within walking distance. Our kids have a blast at the game room and the indoor pool while parents can visit the gym and enjoy the hot tub. Highly recommend this destination!

Enjoyed staying right on the lake. Go to the beach outside your unit or indoor pool. Restaurants and amusements on site. Pleasant staff. Restaurants and amusements nearby. State parks nearby. Not my first time here. Not perfect, but very nice and relaxing.Rooms: A room to fit your party. From couples to families and friends. A kitchen if you are not in the mood for a night out, and/or on a budget.Safety: Electronic room entry and keyed exterior doors.

Whilst some might consider the building an eyesore in such a beautiful setting, there's nothing the owners and managers can do about that now.It's in an excellent location with beach front access and it is close to a number of water sport facilities. It's great to sit on one of the chairs on or near the beach late afternoon and take in the beauty of the lake.They have a nice restaurant in the property with friendly staff. There is also an indoor pool which should keep the kids happy for a few hours.The condo units themselves are of a reasonable size and comfortably furnished (well the one we rented was). All have lake facing balconies.Haven't been here in the winter but I understand from a relative there's some reasonable skiing nearby.A lot of outdoor activities nearby as well as a variety of restaurants.

Amazing stay at an amazing place! Highly recommend and will definitely be back. Love the convenience of all of the on-site amenities and close location to local attractions.Nearby activities: Conveniently located to Wisp Mountain resort activities and various state parks.Food & drinks: The on-site restaurant Ace s had a great selection of food and beverages. Our meals were delicious!!
