We rented a pontoon for the day with family. It was a great day even with the little bit of rain. The entire rental process was very easy and efficient. The Silver Tree Marine staff was great to work with and were very accommodating. The boat was very clean, in great shape and was ready to use. We will definitely be using Silver Tree Marine again and recommending to anyone we know coming to Deep Creek Lake.

My husband and I ran out of gas on the lake on Monday right at their closing time. A young man came out with gas after hours. He stayed with us until he knew we were good to go. Much thanks and appreciation to you!!!

I ve been renting there pontoon boats for 5 years now. I ve had zero problems/issues with the boats and personal. Rental tube needs air, boat fenders fells off all repairs made without any issues. There is plenty of employees to help you out even when they are busy.

Silver Tree Marina s staff is so friendly and responsive I was happily surprised! They quickly picked up our old boat and correctly diagnosed and repaired it, so we could enjoy our time on the lake. When it was time to get a new boat, we were totally impressed with the knowledge about the different boats. I know I m in good hands when I call Silver Tree Marina. Thanks, for all the help, Travis!

We have been using Silver Tree to perform repairs on and store our Malibu Wakesetter over the winter for a few years now and everyone at Silver Tree has ALWAYS been fantastic to work with. There have been many, many times when I have made crazy, outside-of-the box requests of them, occasional times when I've needed emergency service, and other times when I have needed repairs to our boat that seemed near impossible to make and the folks at Silver Tree have always pulled through for us. They are super and I highly recommend their services!

Silver Tree did a fantastic, thorough job upgrading the ballast system on our wakeboard/surf boat last summer. This summer, they did an equally fantastic job upgrading our boat's sound system and propeller. Staff are prompt and responsive, have a can-do attitude, and gladly field questions and talk through options. We will be storing our boat with Silver Tree this winter, and we have high confidence that they will take great care of it. Highly recommend.

Rented a pontoon boat, after about 45 minutes of tubing with kids, it broke down. We called Silver Tree and a couple of gentlemen came within 15 minutes and did some repairs and told us problem is fixed. They were courteous. This was around 5 pm. (it had rained most of the day so we only used the boat starting around 3:30 pm). After dinner, we attempted to go out again on the boat but within 10 seconds it broke down again -- same problem. At this point it was a little after 7 pm and they were closed. So we used the boat for a total of 45 minutes all day. Next morning I explained the situation to gentleman named Chris who told me we would get another boat which we did. I asked for a partial refund or discount for previous day and he told me he would give me free fuel and an extra hour of boating and that's all he can do. He subsequently told me he is not going to argue the matter any longer and hung up on me. We did promptly receive the "new" boat, but was disappointed that it had black stains all over the seats, which were also torn. The boat was not in good condition aesthetically, but at least it did not break down.You decide whether the above is fair or not, but keep in mind that the boats at this location are old. Both boats were REALLY worn, seats not in good shape and obviously the first boat had some mechanical issues. Keep that in mind if you decide to rent from this location. Like I said the first time the boat broke down the 2 gentlemen who came were courteous and attempted to fix the problem. But after failing to do so, and us NOT BEING ABLE TO USE THE BOAT THE REST OF THAT DAY, I feel that "free fuel" alone was not adequate compensation for the time lost as we had family there for only those 2 days and it was kind of embarassing to be stranded twice on the lake.The staff were friendly for the most part, exception was being hung up on which I did not appreciate but the other young staff were nice. I did get free fuel!Perhaps this was just my unfortunate experience at this boat rental but I will not be returning. Other locations (Deep creek marina and Bill's) have newer boats in much better condition.

We recently purchased a pontoon from Silver Tree and had a great experience. We worked with Tyler and really appreciated his expertise. He was professional and thorough, even after the purchase was completed. We know that as we continue to have service, maintenance, winterization and storage services we will be taken care of by their employees.

I would give zero stars if I could. Rented a pontoon for 2 days months in advance to make sure we would beat the rush of busy season of renting boats. Called respectively about a month in advanced to honor their 10 day cancellation policy to ONLY cancel one of the 2 days. Turns out they cancelled our entire reservation and then had no boats left for us to rent. I will never rent from here ever again. If you do rent from them don t cancel anything just show up the day of and tell them you don t need it for the amount of time you do and reference this review. This is the worst rental experience I have had to date.

Chris and Travis are top notch! They went over and above the call of duty. We were on vacation with our own boat when we messed up the prop. Our boating would have been over for the week if it weren't for them. They sold me a prop that didnt fit quite right (based on my wrong info). The prop was functional for the rest of week and since they didn't have the right one in stock, they let me return it for full refund. They wouldn't take anything for their trouble. I highly recommend these guys. Excellent customer service. If I have any motor issues, I'll be calling these guys first!

Got to location, which turned out to be the Silver Tree Hotel/Suites. Found out the spot to pickup kayaks and do the water activities was behind the suites thanks to the hotel front desk staff. Got to the spot to check-in for kayaking, which was faster than expected; just sign a waiver sheet. The staff were laying down on their phones when coming up to ask questions. This was my first time kayaking and I was expecting some walkthrough, video tutorial, or tips on what to do; got none of that. No confirmation of how long we had to use the kayak. They just gave us the kayak, life vests, and paddle boards and let us be on our merry way. We decided not to go too far out in the lake since we didn't feel too comfortable. If we were to capsize, who knows if they would have paid us any attention.

Beautiful lake. We decided to rent their 17 ft., 135 hp Honda Starcraft after our 22ft Maxim 265 hp had to get towed to a storage yard on the 250 road trip due to a trailer hitch failure. Unfortunately, the engine key broke off in the ignition after we used the key about 3-4 times. We were stranded in a gradually drifting boat and had to get out and guide the boat to a private dock and called Silvertree marine. A staff member from Silvertree Marine arrived with the rescue boat and a set of spare keys. Unfortunately, my friends were exhausted from the effort of securing the boat and called it a day. When my wife and I returned the boat the staff who run the marina initially blamed us and refused to refund any money for the lost time and effort it took to save the boat from the rocks. But ultimately we had a good day on the water and management was kind enough to refund the $55 for the tube rental and $37 for the gas and apologized for the inconvenience. We were greatly appreciative of all of their efforts. Ultimately we had a good day on the very beautiful Deep Creek Lake.We were very thankful that the staff was able to rescue us quickly.

Good boat, but very expensive and be aware you will be charged for the fuel when you return the boat though they never mentioned this to me.Also, do your own inspection and take pictures. I was charged $180 for a damaged prop and left to look at the before and after videos on their iPad which they were not able to even share with me.Also the radio in our boat and all the rest of the electronics were not functioning at all.Manager should set an appropriate example and wear a mask per state requirements like his staff did.

I honestly regret having to give this organization 1 star. Very poor, if not rude, customer service. When I reserved a boat on the phone , I was clear I wanted to the boat for 1 week. I was quoted a price for 1 week. On the 6th day we were contacted by Silver Tree and told our boat was over due for its return. We were surprised.We immediately returned the boat and they charged us $150.00 for being late 3 hours. When we contested the charge young boys, who were working there, spoke over us, corrected us, and would not hear our postion or concern. Extreamly rude and poor customer service. Management very young and no respect. They had no intention of understanding our position that a week to us=7day...not 6. When our son rented a paddle board, it has no fin. When he realized this he returned it the next morning and they charged him rental for a day. Their equipment is not covered, poor condition and again, customer service=horrible. We were told not to rent from Silver TreeMarine, however it was close to our rental and we went ahead trusting the reservation agreement of 1 week over the phone prior to our vacation. I would hightly recommend not using Silver Tree Marine.

My reservation was for 8:30 AM 9/14/19 and I received a confirmation and reminder email showing the same time. I showed up at 8:30 am only to have to wait until 9:15 am for anyone to show up. The first two individuals that showed up did not have a key so we had to wait for a third that showed up 15 minutes after that. I ordered and paid for a 135hp pontoon boat only to be told that the boat we reserved had already been put away so we then had to wait for another boat. The boat we were given didn't have a battery in it so we then had to wait for one to be pulled from another boat to be put into this one. We ended up not getting to leave the marina until 10:30, a full 2 hours after our reservation time, but still had to pay full price including paying for gas when we brought in the boat. I come to deep creek for at least Week every year, this year was twice and i rent for 5 days every time we are there for a week. I have now rented from silver tree 3 times but will never do so again.

I wish I can give ZERO stars to this place.This is a shame to the boat rental business and a complete robbery. Staff is completely unprofessional and disrespectful to customers.Charged ridiculous damage fee for 150$ for a tube handle that was ripped off on the first ride. The tube looked like it was used at least 10 times but the rude staff kept arguing that it was new. Lying to your face is the last thing you need on vacation.Complete scheme. No insurance is offered. I would only come back to p**s on their port and failing business

Wish I could give it a zero rating. Rented a pontoon boat that had no business being rented out. Almost every seat cushion was torn and soaking wet. We tried to get another boat but the very young staff insisted the other boats were rented , not true. We eventually got towed back because it broke down and the 4 other boats had not moved all day. We were stranded for about 1 hour because nobody answered the phones. When we got back from the towing and instead of trying to make it right for the 2 hours lost being stranded they had the nerve to try and charge us for the gas on top of zero compensation. They need an adult to run operations there not a bunch of teenagers who have no idea how to run a business and treat customers.

Easy check in. We didn't want one if the tubes we rented so they converted into gas credit. Boat was clean, very comfortable and we had a great day! Highly recommend.

One of the WORST if not the worst boat rental companies I have ever dealt with. Actually, I don t think this place should be considered a light business by any means. The place overcharged my group for damages and literally robbed us. What kind of rental business that does not have a rental insurance in the 21st century. The damages could happen to anyone who rides a boat for the first time. Things like parking wrongly or getting close to a shallow water. Believe me, you could easily run into them.Thank you Silver Tree for ruining my vacation. I hope everyone reads this before making the decision to rent a boat.

I've rented boats from Silver Tree twice. Both times the people working there have been super helpful and nice. Their prices were better than other marinas around Deep Creek and my family really enjoyed our time on the water.

One star because Staff are friendly BUT... We rented a pontoon knowing that the capacity was 12 and there was no restriction on families. We were 12 in my family. When we got there, we were told that only 10 people are allowed. we cannot cancel the reservation because of their policies. we asked other rentals about the restriction, they all said the restriction was lifted already. They DID NOT GAVE US A CHOICE but to use it and deal with it.We ended up splitting my family and rent another pontoon on Bill's Marine. waste of money.Silver Tree Marine gave us an old pontoon. the leather seats are busted and it was slow. I do not know if this is all their boat but compare to the one that Bills' Marine gave us, Silver Tree Marine's boat was OLD.The fuel was not included in the rental. they charge 20 cents more than Bill's marine.to some up, just try another rental. they maybe a litte more money but worth it.

We went to the marina to rent a boat for my wife's 50th birthday celebration. They couldn't have been more helpful or nicer! Surprise went off without a hitch. She had no idea my family was already going to be on the boat. Staff was great location is easy to get to A+ Plus

I've rented several boats from STM over the years and they've always delivered on service and selection. They have never been slacking on boats, and when I run into them in town they remember me and greet me with a smile. The experience alone will always bring me back. You guys are awesome.

Silver Tree Marine is a place where I have service performed and I purchase gas on the lake. I am very pleased by the service and Travis and Chris have been great with the boat serviceThe gas is fun to get and the attendants (Sally, Jenny, Matt, Jenn, Patton, Lauren and others) are very good at helping you with the boat when pulling in to get your gas. It is like the old fashion service you received back in the day. Thanks to all of you who make our day better at Deep Creek Lake's "Silver Tree Marina".Gary McKee

I was down here in Maryland with my brand new boat, went to put in reverse and got stuck in reverse. Im from the Pittsburgh, Pa. area. Made MANY phone calls to different boat shops. None would even look at it for many different reasons. Tpok at chance here and they squeezed us in next day early morning, and repaired within half hour. I HIGHLY would recommend this place. Now my husband can fish on rhe lake. Ty u all very much. Life saver lol lol!!!!!

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE service and customer communication. If you want your business to fail, hire the guy named Christopher. The wort customers communicator you could ever have. The guy overcharged us on damages. Can t think of a worst rental experience.

I WISH I CAN GIVE 0 STARS. WORST EMPLOYEES AND CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER !!! Very un-respectful and used abusive language, they charged us extra $ because the tube handle was torn off. But the tube was very low quality. And you literally only can use one way! Just hold on to it. NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN and I don t recommend it.

My boyfriend and I were on the way to a wedding and had a flat tire at a gas station. They happened to be driving by and helped us out right away. Very friendly and a HUGE help! Would definitely recommend.

overpriced. boats are not in good condition with non working radios, dents, dirt, torn seats etc. (pontoon 2502 radio works, 2500 radio doesn't work). boat broke down during rental due to a rotten fuel line. had to call the marina to come tow us. they gave us free gas, but still. 1) I had to ask for a discount, 2) they obviously don't take care of the boats, 3) I had to fight to get a boat with a working radio. it's funny in their contract it says break downs are PART of your rental. stay away and take your business elsewhere. employees are nice tho...college kids who take orders from an incompetent management.

I'm only giving 5 stars because Google won't let me give more stars. The service technicians are the best you will find. The shop is top notch with only best equipment. At a more then fair price. Also they don't push unnecessary items on you
