Bought a oil filter for a 2016 Jetta gli. It was the last oil filter on the bottom shelf that they had in stock.Roughly $15 for the oil filter. Meanwhile I can get it on rock auto same brand name and part number for $1.63 however instead of waiting three weeks for it to get to West Virginia they already had one so it was very convenient.

I visited this store a few days ago, as I have many times. I'll also say that my situation was a unique one, but one I felt deserved a better answer considering my solution.I own a Tesla Model 3, which needed the 12v battery replaced, which to some people is a funny concept. A Tesla does in fact have a regular 12v battery in addition to the main battery under the car. So I inquire about a battery and before looking up anything on the computer his answer was "No we don't have that". I assured him, I just need a 12v battery not the big battery and laughed a little because again, most people wouldn't think an electic car would need a 12v battery. His answer to this was "We don't touch Tesla's". So again, I answered with, I'm going to put it in myself. He answered with "We don't have that". A little confused, I accepted defeat and left empty handed. I get home and remember seeing an EV battery being advertised on TV so I look it up. A diehard EV battery...wait...Diehard is an Advance Auto Parts brand. I ordered it directly from the website and installed it myself today. So I'll come back to this store, as I have many times. I would have liked to have seen a little more effort in my request. Especially since Advance did have a battery that worked and was an "exact fit" on the website. This store most likely didn't have one in stock, but could have done a little better and ordered it for me or attempted to look it up for me. I was going to give one star but I ended up getting the battery I needed through Advance. So I'll give it a solid 2 for this experience.

I got stranded on hwy 44 from out of town driving in with e lights all the way from Davis to here and got a relief once I showed up because Josh came to the rescue. My check engine light was on so he plug up the scanner and right away he said there was a fuse that was blown. He was right because I had found it and gave me the biggest smile out of my stranded morning I had. Thank you Josh your boss ought to be proud of you. Reminded me of that one song by Tracy Lawrence you find out who your friends are

Have only visited for UPS service back to Amazon. First experience was great.Few days ago the female employee was not helpful at all and did not seem concerned. She said 'we can't do this here referring to an Amazon return. She offered no help and said how to ??? another UPS service in town. With the price of gas and the value of my time, I won't return to this Advance Auto store.

Harper and Rob were the most helpful, friendly guys! They answered our questions and replaced our battery, gave us a resources to connect us to a mechanic to fix a larger problem, all with a great sense of humor that lighten our stressful evening. Thanks, ya all!

For a family trip that started in MI with a stop at an O'Reilly's for a new spark plug, we're finishing our trip in WV with a new battery from Advance Auto Parts. Brian, friendly and helpful, was able to tell that the alternator was ok but the battery was dead. Knowledgeable and willing to answer our questions and sound advise. After installing out battery we were on our way. I'd recommend Brian, if he's working, if you have to stop in for help.

We showed up here 5 minutes before they closed with an error message to check the charging system. She was panicking over her car and was terrified it would turn off and we would crash. The man checked the alternator and battery and explained what could potentially be wrong and our options and helped reassure her we will not instantaneously crash and die if it would turn off, which it shouldn't. Honestly just pleased with his professionalism and cool demeanor. Thank you.

Big props to Justin. On a Saturday afternoon with everyone else closed he saved us. Probably he wasn't "supposed" to, but went out of his way to help. Above and beyond the call of duty. Justin for your actions alone this place deserves 5 stars! We need more people like you in the world. Thank you, thank you, thank you! (By the way, a holiday present may have arrived for you in 2020. Thank you again!)

We rolled into the parking lot with white smoke rolling out everywhere. We quickly discovered it was a busted heater hose. The clerk came out and put my replacement on without me even asking! It was so very cold out and it was spitting snow. That guy from behind the counter was a blessing!

Staff somewhat helpful at this location.Took away two stars because Tim was more concerned with what was on the computer screen and taking a phone call, then waiting on a potential customer standing at the counter.A different store sold me what I went into Advance for.

Has friendly and knowledgable staff who are willing to help you with small things on your car such as changing wiper blades. Has good stock of merchandise and they will order it for you if they dont have it in stock. Good prices.

I usually try to call around to the parts stores to get the lowest price; however, I've found that this location has knowledgeable staff who are all helpful. That's a level of service that the other retailers have failed to provide.

Ordered a part for my truck they told me it would be here at 9 today went there wasn't even ordered so now I have to reorder it and go back there at 1 today I had to borrow a car really inconvenience and good luck have a nice day ordered part Wednesday to pick up Thursday no love

We had situation few weeks ago, when my husband called and asked for specific part, and they said they have it. When we drove there they didn't not had what we ask for. but other than that we use this store often
