Great experience at Horizontal Motors! I would highly recommend them to anybody who needs an honest, trustworthy mechanic to fix any problems with your vehicles. I had a phenomenal experience. I was referred by a well known and respected local machine shop. Androw the owner is honest, professional , and extremely knowledgeable! He worked with me to explain throughly and I am overjoyed to plan my second project with Androw. An MR 2. I hope to have many projects with Androw over the coming years!

Horizontal Motors is amazing!!!! Brought my car here after another mechanic told my i needed a new transmission and radiator and as soon as Horizontal saw it they knew it needed neither. They repaired it fast and at a great price. It is running better than ever. I'm so happy will take all business there!

I am so glad that I found Horizon Motors! Phenomenal professionalism and service. The entire process was painless...form diagnosing the problem-getting the parts-to the repair and out the door...all within 2 hours. Androw is the best! Another shop recommended a clutch replacement for my Impreza with a heafty price tag of $1700. These guys took a look and recommended bleeding the system first. About 30 minutes later I had the car back and it's working great. An honest shop with knowledgeable staff. I'll be taking my car to them from now on. Would definitely recommend!

Great mechanic, turnaround times are always fast. Does the job and then more. After getting new tires on my e36, Androw did a inspection of the underside of the car and gave me great pointers on what to replace/repair next. Any off sound he hears he starts to check it out making sure your car is running healthy. Not to mention they have great prices!Recently had Horizontal Motors do a full engine diagnosis/repair on an Acura Integra, including a timing belt replacement and tune up. They did a great job and every single issue I had described to Androw had been fixed. I recently had my car worked on in 2 previous "shops" before coming to horizontal. After having all types of suspension issues and work done by the previous shops, several months later, all I had is a Z that felt unsafe to drive with a banging noise coming from the rear passenger area. After reading the reviews here, i figured I'd give them a try. Listen.. these guys are the TRUTH!!! First off..Andrew had my car test driven and on the lift being looked at within 10 minutes lol I told him the problem area was the rear passenger side..however..he started on the drivers side and methodically went 1 by 1 to each bolt..and found several that were barely tightened..and another 2 that had stripped the nut from not being tight, and was barely hanging on. Then.. he went on to hunt and find the issue i came for, which was similar... no tightened bolt on my strut. I won't say how much he charged me, but let's just say I left with a smile on my face!! And i was out of there in an hr!! Oh, and shoutout to his employees/other workers.. These guys may be young, but they are experienced and wise beyond their years!! They made me feel extremely welcome, and I'll be going back without a doubt!! Androw and crew are the best!!2nd review - I went back 4/15/23Androw is awesome! He goes above and beyond every time! I'm not going to any other shop if I can help it. Almost forgot to mention their prices...Reasonable is an understatement. I asked for an estimate before my last visit. After Androw did the work (found & fixed more issues than I came for), he handed me my invoice, and it was cheaper than the estimate! And he did more work than we previously talked about doing! Who does that?!?! For me, meeting Andrew has been a god send. He's going to be in business a long time.

Horizontal Motors was incredible to work with . They gave me the best price out of three estimates and their customer service is amazing. The work performed on my car looks beautiful! My air conditioning was also broken but repaired. I highly recommend Horizontal motors especially for body work . Awesome, theCheck engine lights went on and the dealer had appt in 2weeks. The owner called me back n said come over. He found n fixed the issues. within ten minutes. I now know where to go you when the warranty expires

IF YOUR LOOKING FOR A KNOWLEDGEABLE MECHANIC WHO WAS GREAT TO WORK WITH, HORIZONTAL MOTORS IS THE PLACE TO GO!I have a 2004 Subaru WRX with quite a few modifications to the engine and body. I took my car to three different shops that could not figure out the problem it was having one running. Androw the owner was recommended to me by another Subaru owner and I am so grateful for that because he took the time to thoroughly diagnose the issues causing my car to not run right. He kept me updated during the process and when I got my car back it ran better than it has in years. I could not be happier. Huge shout out to Andrew and Ben. These guys never gave up on the problem! The even stayed late to make sure the problem was fixed. I blew my g35 2004 engine and they swapped the engine and fixed everything and more that I didn t even know was wrong and all that was done in less than a week. If you need anything done hit them up ASAP. Came here because of the good reviews and do not regret it. As a woman, it can be intimidating going to repair shops but that was not the case here. They listen to your concerns and are very honest. These guys are the best around town! Heck even the state! I'm a new owner of BMW 135i and I was super paranoid to get this car fixed and ready for Maryland inspection. I tried calling multiple shops and mechanics throughout the week with no avail. Surprisingly, Horizontal Motors were open on a Saturday where as everybody else was closed. I told them my issues and they even let me pull up the same day for them to check out my car. They found multiple issues straight away and fixed them on the spot. They welcomed me with open arms and told me what I need to do next. After I got my car back, my car felt completely different and it drove so much better. We have a couple more things to fix and I know they will be getting my business again!Service: General repairs & maintenance

My car suddenly broke down a few months ago and the Pastor of my church recommended I come to Horizontal Motors for my repair. Andrew the Technician I ve spoken to on multiple occasions treated me very professionally and was courteous to me as well as informative about my vehicle. Horizontal fixed all 8 cylinders in my engine and since that fix I ve since gone to them with any repairs I need done on my car. We brought our Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder here after finding out that the bottom had a great deal of rust on it. The bottom was rusted essentially all the way through and would have been very costly to fix. Not only was our vehicle able to be looked at within the same day, on a Saturday, but we were given an honest answer about the state of our car, and were able to decide what our next steps to take would be, rather then throwing a bunch of money at a car that wasn t worth fixing. We are so appreciative and grateful for the services received!

Friend/Mechanic passed in the early 2000's I have been looking for a mechanic that made me feel like he made me feel. I just found them! If you're vehicle is somewhere else and you're not satisfied! Jump up vertically get behind the wheel and drive fast horizontally but legally! Passionate about what they do. Point out things that you didn't mention you were their for. Your car will get treated as if its their car while they work on it. Younger them me so will be my mechanic until I leave this earth! Unless I move out of state to retire and I have aspirations to do just that. Team Horizontal Motors, Thank you! I brought in my 2006 Tacoma with 300k miles and the suspension was completely blown out. Androw and Ben did an amazing job getting the truck done in a timely manner and kept me updated along the way. They let me know about other issues with the truck and were able to deal with them while he had the vehicle. Best experience I've ever had with a mechanic. Spoke to him on a Saturday and gave me a great deal. On Monday we ordered my engine. Tuesday my engine arrived. Wednesday I brought my Forester and in less then 24 hours the engine was swapped out I couldn't believe it. Great customer service and communication skills. Highly recommend. I'll be bringing all my vehicles to Androw from now on.

I had a wonderful experience with Horizontal Motors. The week I was moving, I wanted to have work done to my car to get it prepared for the trip. There were several challenges that came up with my car and Horizontal Motors was extremely accommodating. Not only with getting the routine maintenance on my vehicle but also with installing a last-minute trailer hitch on the vehicle. They went above and beyond to assist. Wonderful customer experience.
