Highly recommend Spriggs Autohaus. He is extremely knowledgeable. We brought in our vehicle and he saw things that needed to be fixed that we did not realize were dangerous. We have a new teenage driver and he took care of our vehicle as if his baby was driving in that vehicle. I love his thoughtfulness, knowledge and attention to detail. He made sure that our vehicle was safe and well taken care of. He is fair and honest. I can not recommend him enough. Whenever I meet people I send them his way because I know they will be well taken care of!Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Auto engine tuning

We own two Mercedes. We don t mind paying for service but at the dealership I felt like every time we drove in for an A or B service it was $1000. Since our cars are out of warranty we decided to search out a auto mechanic who worked on German cars.Wow! It s all I can say. We felt totally taken care of. Our car was serviced in a timely manner with us feeling like we made the right decision.We look forward to Vern servicing both of our cars. Thank you Vern.

Sprigg's Autohaus is extremely professional and more importantly honest. It is extremely difficult to find someone you can trust when it comes to car repair. Vernell will give you the best advice and tell you what you need, but he will only do what you ask him for. It CAN NOT be emphasized enough how important it is to find someone you can trust when it comes to car repairs. I would not consider taking my cars to anyone else!!

Good small business. He is very good at actually looking at the whole of the vehicle vs just fixing what clients think is the issue.FYI: even though website says opens at 8am, his first opening of the day is 8:30am. Learned about this after being told he could check engine light. first thing in the morning , and gee to be polite I was actually there at 8am. And I am NOT a morning person.Funny how hours of one person small business on their own website could mislead.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto A/C recharge, Auto engine diagnostic, Auto engine tuning, A/C installation & repair, Auto body & trim replacement, Battery

My wife, my 17 year old son, and I bring our cars to Vernell Spriggs for routine care and when more is necessary. Vern always makes himself available and will fit us in as soon as possible. He not only provides superb, affordable service, he actually cares about the people who drive the cars he works on. It's reassuring to know he will tell me what service my car needs, and doesn't need. In my opinion, there isn't anyone better.

When you go to Spriggs; ask for Vern!! He was by far, HANDS DOWN, the most understanding, thorough explaining, willing to work with me mechanic, I have experienced in a VERY LONG time. The day that I found his shop, I was in 2 other car mechanic shops that morning trying to get work done on my 2006 Lexus. The quotes from the other mechanics almost brought me to tears. (The last one literally did..I was beginning to feel like it was time to get a new car) Vern, however, assessed my issue and provided me with not 1, but 2 separate options to remedy my repair at 1/2 the cost. Actually MORE than half the cost. I couldn t believe it!! He has integrity, he knows his stuff, and I WISH there were more mechanics like him.He followed up with me the next day about the work done, and it meant a lot that he cared and stood behind it.I recvomrnd his service for what EVER your car needs maybe. Nothing to Big or small.

Hardworking, Honest, Reliable, Professional and Knowledgeable. Spriggs Autohaus fit us into their busy schedule and went above and beyond to make sure that we were driving safe. So thankful to have a mechanic that we can count on. Spriggs Autohaus found the best deal - didn't make me search for coupons or the right deal. We are military and they found another special they were running at the time that saved us more money! How can you beat that. A great business that we HIGHLY recommend!!

Just returned home from my first visit to Spriggs Autohaus, and it surely won't be my last. Vernell was great to work with and his knowledge and experience apparent. It is great to know that there is still a shop around where you can talk to the guy doing the work and he is able to explain all intricacies of your future maintenance needs and recommendations.Update: I had a small problem with the brakes that were installed on my Mercedes (material problem, not mechanic related). I let Vernell know as shortly after my initial visit of the problem and without missing a beat, he ensured me that "clients are like family" and "I'm not happy until you are happy". Vernell went well above and beyond to ensure my complete satisfaction even though the issues I experienced were not directly related to his labor. If you ever need a skilled, honest, mechanic that stands behind his work, Spriggs Autohaus is the place to go.

I have been taking our German cars to the dealer for service for years. Not anymore. Mr. Spriggs took time to answer my questions - before, during, and after service. My extended family has been a customer of Mr. Spriggs for nearly 25 years -- albeit, Mr. Spriggs has not been the business owner for all of that time -- but he was the technician. During that period we have been extremely satisfied with the work provided. Now Mr. Spriggs owns his own shop and is continuing the exceptional service we have come to expect. Vernell, congratulations on the opening of your new business -- you will have several customers from my family and friends I recommend for decades to come.

I recently had Vernell check my wife's vehicle to get rid of the clunk coming from both sides underneath. Twenty minutes after dropping it off, he called with root of the cause and parts ordered. He quoted a price that was more than fair, as I had imagined it would have cost a week's paycheck if I had taken it to a dealer. I have been looking for a trustworthy mechanic for a long time. We have been taking our Mazdas, Hyundais, and BMWs to Vernell Spriggs for maintenance and repair for almost 25 years. He always explains what needs fixing (if anything) and patiently answers all questions. If the job is going to be big and expensive, he tries to find a cheaper temporary alternative to "keep us going" until we can afford the big ticket fix. He is always available by cell phone if you have a roadside emergency and need help or advice. In addition, his work is reliable and his prices are reasonable. Give him a try and you'll bless the day you did.

I have taken all my Beetles to Vern for the last 10 years, starting at Tydings in Annapolis. I trust him and his work so much that I have no problem driving to his new shop in Millersville. He is absolutely worth the trip. You will not be a number here. He does honest work at a fair price. I highly recommend Spiggs Autohaus if you have a German car.

My car, 2009 Honda CR-V, drives better now than ever before since I started going to Spriggs Autohaus for services and maintenance !!! Excellent in quality of service and professionalism ! Very friendly and definitely trustworthy !!! YES, I would definitely recommend Spriggs autohaus to my families and friends !!!

Friendly professional service. Diagnostic tools on site. Mechanic(s) are very knowledgeable and do not sugarcoat the problem(s) with your vehicles. You can expect and honest up front assessment. The garage is very clean and accessible.

We have followed Vernell to 3 locations. We find him extremely professional and honest. We never question when he recommends repairs. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone needing service.

Don't use this mechanic. I took my vintage Mercedes to his shop for an estimate on what it would take to service and he tried to tell me it would be too expensive to fix. He's trying to steal my car rom me. He's untrustworthy. Don't take your car to him.

The difference between this shop and a dealership is Vern himself. You can talk to the person who does the work...and in this case he really knows what he is doing. This outfit is worthy of a five stars rating.

Mr Spriggs is a knowledgeable professional and performs quality service at a reasonable price. The location is convenient but it's a busy area as the lot is shared with other businesses.
