I've left reviews for this shop before, but I want to take the time to reiterate just how much I appreciate an auto repair shop I can trust. They do excellent work, and you can tell that they care about their customers and their reputation for quality work. I have never once felt like I was being upsold on repairs or service that were not warranted - if they suggest it, it's because it's what's best for you and your automobile. Are they the cheapest place? Don't know, don't care - it's hard to place a value on great customer service in a day and age where great customer service is in short supply. Chris and Francesca are great to work with and treat us like family when we're in there, and my cars have never run better. What's not to like? They have been my go-to place for auto care for several years at this point and there is no reason for that to change.

Amazing service! Chris is a very knowledgeable and friendly and will take the time to talk to you and explain the problem and the solution professionally and respectively. Even being short staffed, he was able to get my vehicle fixed and ready before our trip that we had planned to travel to within the same week. The customer service staff was also welcoming and knowledgeable and showed stellar customer service! Recommending them to others already and will be a repeating customer for future repairs and maintenance!Services: Tires, Auto water leak repair, Auto engine diagnostic, Tire rotations, Wheel alignment, Oil change

I have trusted Stauffer's with my auto care for years. They have never disappointed me with their friendly approach, knowledge and explanation of work required, with options on costs for repair equipment. I recently had a tire blow due to a pothole on 97N. It was a holiday, nothing was open. I had my car towed to Stauffers, and left the key and explanation of problem in slot box. They called me the next morning, ordered new tires, and I had my car back in one day. Francesca even picked me up at my home so I could get my car. Talk about personalized service! When I bought my first (used) BMW, I was apprehensive about the cost of maintenance and upkeep, Stauffer's came highly recommended from another BMW owner as a place where you could get quality work done at a reasonable price, which was part of why I went ahead and bought the car - aside from their reputation, Stauffer's is close to where I live.I've got to say, their reputation is deserved. They are super friendly, professional, very thorough, and they are reasonably priced. They will be my auto service center for the foreseeable future.Services: Tires, Oil change

Chris and the team at Stauffer's are top notch. I had a brake line go out on my truck, and Chris was able to fix it and get me back on the road. I asked him to look over the truck and he noticed 2 other small lines that were rusted, so he replaced those. He noticed that my transmission pan gasket was leaking. But there was no pressure for me to have the service done. Fast forward to a little later and I dropped off for that service to be completed. Fully trust that my vehicles are taken care of while at their location.Services: Transmission, Tires, Brakes

It has been said that it is hard to find a good mechanic and if you do, hold on to them! These guys are the best and most honest guys I have dealt with. I have several vehicles and when one broke down, AAA towed it to the wrong place so I told them to leave it there since these guys were mechanics as well. (I am so glad I took my own advice)They fixed my Saab so well the first time that it both impressed me and made me take my other cars back into them. Todd, at the front is so professional, Jim (owner) works well with customers - as he even gave one of his personal trucks for me to use in the interim as a loaner while my car was being fixed.Short of it is, these guys have earned by business, and trust allegiances. Why? Great service, great price, great atmosphere and staff that works with the customer . .. . what's there no to LIKE???

I went in to get my check engine light issue fixed, was told i needed a bunch of repairs that added up to $2400. I asked to make sure before I approved if this would fix my issue. My engine light came back on THE DAY I GOT IT BACK.. I bring it back obviously, just for them to tell me they thought the light was false and simply just turned it off. Over 2000 dollars just to be given my car back with THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM. 2400 to not actually fix my car.

The customer service is off the chain! They are honest and fair! They follow up on everything! They reach out to you. I feel satisfied when I walk away from there! They do face to face with you and offer valuable expert advice! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.Estimate was 50% more than originally quoted. I couldn't drive car without further damaging suspension/steering & didn't have time or money to tow to another shop. I walked in and was consulted immediately, vehicle put on lift, and problem diagnosed and explained thoroughly. Having a NAPA auto parts store in the same building helps to keep pricing competitive as well as reasonable labor. Compared to what is out there online I saved approximately 50%. I would recommend Stauffers Auto Service to anyone in the area. Very reasonable, honest, friendly and professional staff!

This is a great place for auto repairs. They are affordable and provide quality repairs. We take our vehicles here for all repairs and our regular maintenance. I've even referred friends to Stauffer's for complex repairs and they could not believe the prices. We love their work.

I took my BMW in for a diagnosis because it was in limp mode. After paying $80 for my diagnosis, Stauffers advised me that I needed a turbo replaced at a cost of $1,800. Given the symptoms, I found this hard to believe so got a 2nd opinion at another garage. It turns out a secondary air intake hose had come lose, so this was simply re-attached and the problem was solved. I wish they had performed more simple checks diligently rather than proposing the most expensive solution (which would not have solved the issue). After this experience, I am not confident that Stauffers can properly diagnose BMW issues.

I've owned three BMWs (E36 M3, E92 328i, and E60 535xi) and have taken all three there... Jim and the crew are simply the best in town if you don't want to pay dealership prices, but still want quality work. Highly recommended.

5/5 for these guys. Excellent work, they did a conversion to my Automatic Transmission to a 5-Speed in 1 day. I have been driving for the past 4 months with it and never had a transmission problem, I used to under estimate them and wasted my money with mechanics in the Baltimore Area because it was closer for me, but the 15 minute drive from the mall is 110% worth it. They rebuild engines, install super chargers and turbos, transmission swaps, engine swaps, car rebuilds, remove rust, talk to you about your car and provide you used and new parts which is of course your choice and no matter what, the part is 10/10 in great condition. They can do any type of car, specifically BMW. Very friendly crew. Jim, Shane, Imran, Tony and the rest are always ahead of their game.If you have a problem with ANY type of car, swing by and they'll fix it and give you an unbeatable price. Love these guys, and its time to take my car back to them so they can fix an issue i got my engine in to :/

My car was drop off at 730am. They dont open until after 8am,my appointment was @10:00am. My car was done at 10:05am. Love it love it!!

I did not like my experience. They had my car for4 days and tried to make me wait 6. They didn't give me much of a discount either
