I would like to start off by saying what an amazing business Freed Engineering is. Ben and Billy are easily the most professional, polite, helpful people you will meet. I had one million and one questions for them during my build, (a full na auto to built R154 to GTE E85 car). They did nothing but help me through every last decision for my car and pointed me the right direction every time. I look forward to doing more business in the future with Ben and Billy. I would have a conversation with anyone looking to get work done to their car whether it be a budget build to a full on swap like mine to only go to Freed Engineering. I took my car all the way from Ohio to these guys and I will only go to them with it now absolutely PHENOMENAL service every which direction. Thank you again to Ben, Billy and the rest of the staff! No corners cut and superior to any other shop I ve been to.

Ben, Billy and the rest of FE are an awesome group of people. I have worked with them for the past couple years and they are one of the best supra/ cars shops I have dealt with. They have been genuinely helpful and looked out for me through every step of my build. A lot of the fabrication that comes out of this shop is art. Thanks for helping me bring my dream to a reality

I was recommended to this shop by a buddy who had some work done on an IS300. I got to see first hand the quality work they do at a completely reasonable price. Many of the other shops I had contacted came no where near price/quality as Freed. They performed a downpipe/midpipe and full intercooler setup on my K20 swapped BRZ and it's absolutely beautiful. Everyone who works there is very friendly and willing to work with you on the vision for your car. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for any work done! Fantastic place keep up the good work all.

The best 2JZ shop in the DMV and beyond. Top notch work, good communication and great prices. They won't BS you like other shops and try to upsell you on stuff you don't need. In house fabrication, tuner and dyno offers more convenience. They did complete NA to 2JZ vvti single turbo swap for me, drove car in bone stock and drove it out swapped.

Extremely reputable and honest shop. I sent my car here for a 2JZ swap and T56 transmission. When it comes to there work it s clean and professional doesn t mater if you have a car worth 5k or 100k your treated the same. Very attentive and careful to making sure they build your car the way you want it and they make sure you don t over do it. Ben will keep you updated on your build and educate you on what products to go with from the engine to the rear end. I used all his recommendations for what I wanted in this build and wasn t disappointed. If your truly looking for craftsmanship, attention to details and a shop that will take care of your car in the process Freed Engineering is where you need to go. Ben is very honest and will take care of you. His brother billy is a very talented fabricator. My car came back better then I could have dreamed. Thank you guys so much for your hard work and dedication. Extremely happy with the build hope to see you guys again for upgrades or another build thank you.

Awesome shop, bought a Toyota from Japan, ECU got fried, Billy and the rest of the crew got it back running right and better than before. Definitely going back later for some upgrades. Top notch shop and worth the drive if you aren't local.

Seen these guys make a r154 driveshafts for e30 2jz swaps. The website says to email or call about any custom needs so I emailed them on 5/5/21 since I need it to handle 1000hp. Nobody ever emailed me back I called them and left a voice mail last week and still no response. So I emailed Aaron at driftmotion (today) on a Saturday about their r154 driveshafts. Let me start by saying they are only open Monday thru Friday. I emailed him today around 8pm on a Saturday (not thinking I'd get a response till monday) and he emailed me back within an hour with parts/ links and details of what I need to do to ensure proper fitment. Obviously driftmotion is getting my business and if anyone wants good customer service and their needs to get taken care of right away I'd head over to their site. Freed engineerings owner should really be paying attention to loss of business like this.

Jason hunts reputation definitely showed itself today. Even though he was working on my car he didn't mind stopping and showing me and talking me threw the whole process. He knows his stuff and tuned my del sol today and was happy with the results for sure and with great professionalism. Billy the owner was awesome as well and his staff. Answered all my questions and gave great recommendations that i will use. They earned a customer for life today. BIG SHOUT OUT TO FREED ENGINEERING

I sent in a shifter housing to be extended and it was received by Freed Engineering in the late morning. He was worried about a storm delaying my shipment back so he promptly extended the housing and shipped it back..the same day! Storm still delayed the shipment but he did his very best to get that shipped back immediately. I was very impressed with the customer service and the craftsmanship was top notch.

Waited 2 months for a throttle body flange they said was 2 weeks out had to check in with them several times for updates and kept getting "2 more weeks" replies then get an email saying they aren't going to do it at all. Thank you for delaying my project 2 months and completely wasting my time. If the parts are not in stock I do not recommend ordering from this company.

Had a few small jobs done over the years here. Billy and his team always do quality work. I would recommend anyone considering freed engineering to definitely pull the trigger. They'll take care of you and will always do a great job.

Hands down the best welder in the state. Tried a couple of machine shops to weld this aluminum hinge for electric running boards. Nope, they suggested freed, hands down the best
