I have had my automobiles served by Chesapeake Auto Tech for almost 30 years. Fletcher Christie and his team are an invaluable asset! I can't thank him enough for the countless times that he has provided incredible service to my automobiles!

I had my vehicle in to check on a horrible squeal sound and a "dragging" shifting issue. "Said" they did 3 diagnostics on it and did 3 test drives. Picked up my car and drove down veterans' hwy. Car would NOT go into gear at the stop light at brightview intersection and happened once again on Old mill road. Went to a different mechanic right near them for a second opinion only to find out that the tie bar under my radiator was completely rusted out and they WOULDN'T even test drive it till it was safe (which we had repaired) and THEN found out my transmission needs to be replaced. So, how did THIS mechanic NOT see any of this situation IF they did diagnostics and test drives....guess all they do is hook it up to a computer instead of ACTUALLY LOOKING INSIDE THE HOOD! Computers DON'T AND WILL NEVER replace humans and/or their instincts!!Service: Vehicle Inspection

Had front brake job done. After 30K miles, the brakes had started to squeak so I decide to do the job myself since I had the time. I noticed the wrong brake pads were used, no spring clips to connect the two pads were used which are required on the correct parts and no screws were used to attach rotor to hub which can lead to runout. So bottom line is that I'll never use this place again.... very poor quality job and inferior parts installed incorrectly. I used the right BOSCH brake pads and rotors so I know I'll get a lot more than just 30K milesService: Brakes

My family and I have been going to Chesapeake Auto -Techs since it was Fletcher's. They have always reliably helped us with any and all of our car problems. Would recommend to anyone who needed and work done on their car.

I perform some periodic maintenance myself on my 1997 Honda Civic and 2004 Toyota Sequoia; like fluid flushes, tune ups, brake pads, tire rotations, and occasionally a valve check. After trying a few local shops I found Fletcher's. This is a great shop! Patient, honest, and flexible. They discovered a bent wheel on my Honda and accommodated me finding a used wheel, rather than requiring I buy a new one. I found a used wheel, they checked the shape, remounted my tire and installed it. They have also repacked CV joints rather than take the opportunity to charge me for a new one! I recommend them often and haven't gotten any negative feedback as a result.

Great service and provide an explanation and if possible, options to consider including: don't need it now, can wait a while, or a used part rather than new, etc. There have been numerous times where a tire shop has recommended tie rods or brake calipers, etc. and Fletchers has said not required.Great shop to do business.

Only trustworthy place nowadays to take your vehicle. Professional tech-savvy individuals with customer satisfaction in mind. Tucked in back away from highway so look for them close.

This is not the place it used to be now they are not capable of finding out what is wrong or fixing it now they can only do the same work as jiffy lube the same things you can do in your driveway
