I Highly recommend this place. Affordable, Friendly Staff, teach you about your car very knowledgeable. You can stay in your car while you're car is being worked on and very fast. I came here for the first time and I was not disappointed at all was referred to come here by a co worker at my job and I'm glad I came here. It's a lot better than paying $400 at A and R just for an oil change when you can get so much more than that here for less. Definitely stop by and come here great place! I also want to say that I know someone from High school that works here and his name is Devon or Devin and he is awesome I give him 5 stars he is the best and gave me discounts. Great old friend of mine from school. I give him the best review he is an amazing person I will be back again 100%. I suggest and refer you to go if you have to replace anything with your car. If you want to call first you can ask questions. 4/10/24 by the way I have a 2015 Hyundai accent.

So I been going to this place for at least 2 years, customer service has been awesome. The men and it once was a woman that worked there...they are professional, explain EVERYTHING, they offer so many different car services. Stop by check them out!

I was told they couldn t change my oil because they didn t have an air filter. They did not even check to see if the filter needed to be replaced. You can of course have one without the other. When I arrived, the place was dead and the employees were texting on their phones. I got the idea that people were busy on their phones and didn t really have time to actually work. I went to another location that was much more professionally run, and will be doing business with them from now on. This was a waste of my time when they advertise speedy service and clearly don t want to service. I was told by someone at the other location there was no way they were out of that filter and they play games like that at the Essex location so I would just avoid this location all together. I don t like to play games when it comes to my car certainly when I m paying a premium price. Air filter cost about $13 they want $40 to put it in in so I ll be doing that myself from now on.

Darryl, Daniel, Jamar, and Steve were spot-on business-like and thorough. I am heading to Texas tomorrow and feel secure the work they did left my vehicle in better shape than when I came in. Appreciated their professionalism.Nice Store, this MiddleRiver Location. CLEAN!THX All!

No oil leak when I went in. They told me the last person that changed my oil must have stripped the drain plug. (That place has been in business for 30 yrs with the same 2 people there!) When I left, they told me I needed to get my drain plug re-tapped, and recommended not driving my truck, but that I should make it home. When I asked for a refund, or at least a partial refund, the response was "Nah, I don't think we can do that." I was on text with corporate customer service before I left the parking lot. They did end up sending a refund, but I had to fight for it! The only reason I gave it 3 stars is because I have been there before with no problems. I won't be going back...

Took my 86 mustang in for an oil changed and they where upfront letting me know that they found an oil leak and kept me in the loop with everything as they were doing it. There's 2 drain plugs and they didn't know that at first. After filling oil was a little high they dove into it and drained my oil a 2nd time (this time with both bolts) and topped off a 2nd time and took care of me on that front and didn't charge me a 2nd time so thank you on that!They also had something similar happen with the collant flush I had them do today as well. Took care of me and didn't try ti screw me over. Don't find that often, will be bringing all my cars here from now on!

Steven and Eric were incredible! I m a USCG captain and I had many questions about my engine trying to be a more educated vehicle owner. They were patient, excellent teachers and went above and beyond to help me understand what was happening with my vehicle. Service was super quick and I couldnt recommend them more! Thanks again guys!

Great service. 20min oil change. The wait was approximately 45mins. The Service technicians were pleasant, professional, & positive. Whether your waiting in a waiting room or in your vehicle for an oil change or other services there will be a wait, so bring your PATIENCE! It was worth the wait!!

I needed an oil change and someone recommended this location. I went there yesterday and they were absolutely fantastic. There was no wait at the time I was there. My car is newly purchased so I only had to get two oil changes, BOTH were done at Valvoline. The first time I went they gave me a list of more than five things that needed to be done, including a new oil filter, tires rotation, and a bunch of other stuff. Which was only three months after my purchase, which I thought was weird and but yeah okay and ummm no, not purchasing any additional services today.I did the oil filter change with Valvoline and opted not to do the other things. For the second oil change, I came back to Valvoline and was told that my battery was dying, my skid plate was missing on arrival and now I have an engine and transmission oil leak (neither of these was on the problem list the first time).I questioned them about how could I have lost my skid plate when I barely drive to be hitting any bumps like they said I did. He then said that the mechanic most likely forgot to put it back on from the last oil change. I don t go anywhere else so that means they forgot to put it back on! How the heck is that possible??? Then on top of that, never offered to replace it but told me to google it and order myself and bring the car back for them to put it on. AND NONE of the so-called issues they supposedly found at the first oil change came up again this time, yet I didn t get anything fixed. NONE! And when I questioned them about it they got mad and started brushing me off and provided very poor service. I had to ask them several times to check and top off my oils and check the tire pressure and when they finally did that, it was done with an attitude.At this point, I was done with their services and did not trust them for the so-called engine oil and transmission oil leaks on a car that I just purchased about six months ago! Took my car to Jiffy Lube, and guess what????? No leaks found! This place will upcharge you and break your vehicle at the same damn time and the provide horrible service when you re questioning them! If I could give a 0 the first time I went to that place they broke a piece of my car, and the manager of the place acted like it wasn't their fault he didn't bother to come up with a solution he just turned around and walked away the worst place

During my service, I was informed that I had a Severe Engine Oil Leak, like others on this review forum. Confused, because I didn t have it prior, I inquired about where the leak was, in which I was told everywhere, all over the place. I was instructed to go to another mechanic to get this looked at. Within a few days of leaving, my car not only started struggling to accelerate, but cut off on me three times (which has never happened prior to this visit). I filed a claim, and was told it d take 2 days to hear something back. Eric called me 15 minutes later, rudely letting me know my claim was denied. He reviewed footage and saw that I came in with oil streaks on my skid plate . I revisited to have them check my oil, and the service technicians couldn t properly read the dipstick. Went to a mechanic and was informed that Valvoline put way TOOO much oil in my car. I had to get the oil drained, and a new change. Caleb was pleasant and respectful, but I would not recommended VALVOLINE to anyone.Service: Oil change

Great customer service! I was there as soon as they opened at 7:30 and I was done a lil after 8 . The guys who took my information for my car was very knowledgeable and made me feel so comfortable since it was my first time at this location and I m not very car savvy so having the guy explain everything with a smile on his face while I was confused was nice lol ..a bit on the pricey side but 100% worth it to just sit in your car and play on your phone until they are done lol

Anytime I need an oil change or tire rotation I visit Valvoline. The staff are friendly and always seem happy. They don't judge when I'm unsure of issues about my car. I also love being able to stay in my car during services.Services: Tires, Oil changeServices: Tires, Oil change

This was my first time visiting Valviline and I absolutely will come back again!! The service was amazing! They were fast, professional, and knowledgeable. My CSR was Bobby and he took great care of my vehicle. He was honest, knowledgeable, professional, and efficient. I couldn't ask for better service.
