It's nice to have a mechanic that tells you the actual problem of the car they're excellent mechanics Mr. David COOK was Very sincere & experience mechanic to deal with and I wouldn't take my car anywhere apart from COOK Auto Shop. Thanks guys.

I want people to know that since my old shop closed I did the dirty work of finding a new trustworthy repair shop. Cook Auto is that place. I promise you. I paid out thousands of dollars to crooks during my search. I have now taken all three of my vehicles to Cooks for one thing or another and I have come to the conclusion that they are 100% honest and do very good work. My search is done. I am so pleased with the professionalism that I experienced at Cook Auto! I went into Walmart to get new tires, and they told me my lugnut was broken and they recommended that I take my vehicle to them to see if they can fix it, and then they would put my tire on for me. Well, I went to Cook and was greeted with the warmest welcome. And not only did they fix it, they fixed it before the end of the day so I could drive to NYC to see my family over the weekend. I will be a forever customer!

Dave and the crew have taken care of my vehicles since moving to the area 7+ years ago. Honest assessments and personal touch is my experience!! In my experience across many states and shops, I give a 5. Nothing is perfect and Cooks dealt with any situations faced with honesty.

I recently took my car in to Cook's Auto Service (a friend recommended). I was amazed with the friendly service and excellent quality they provided. They were fast and thorough. I also appreciated how I was able to drop off my car after hours for convenience. I work Monday through Friday 9-5, so dropping off after work was more realistic. The owner was sure to discuss everything with me to inform me of what my options were. After they had finished working on my beloved car I picked up my car (my girl was running smoothly and the check engine light was off:) and I drove off feeling confident and comfortable that they took care of my car and valued me as a customer. Thank you for taking care of my car. Thank you for valuing me as a customer. You guys are awesome. Keep up the great work! ....And yes, I will definitely be bringing my car back for future tune ups and maintenance.

I am new to the area so I hadn t a clue as to who I could trust with my car. My alternator suddenly died and I needed to find someone close to home and I found Cook Automotive. I met with the owner Dave and he made me feel as if I were a part of his own family. He is very honest and reasonable with their service and prices. He knew I was in a desperate situation and could have completely ripped me off and I wouldn t have had a choice. He did the complete opposite and went above and beyond with his care and concern for my auto needs. He even went as far as offering me his own truck so I didn t have to wait 2 hours for my car to be ready. This is one of the most memorable experiences I have had in a very very long time and I will be bringing my car back there for all of my automotive needs. Thanks Dave for making my experience a positive one - if I could give 10 stars, I would !!

Cook Auto was great. I came in after another mechanics wanted $115 just to diagnose my car. Only $45 for diagnostics at Cook and they fixed 3 small issues for a very reasonable price. Dave at the front desk was helpful and positive. I will definitely be coming back with any future issues.

WARNING NOT HONEST Had work done on multiple vehicles over the past 2 years and each time we received our vehicles back something else would need fixed!?! Finally something that should have been a simple fix, was said to be something that cost way more than it should have been! So feeling uncomfortable with the diagnosis, I got 2 separate opinions from 2 different mechanics and their diagnosis did NOT match the one originally told to me from Cooks!! Cooks had told me my vehicle needed a part that was NOT even associated with the issue the vehicle was having!!! I am not usually one to post reviews, but I hope this saves someone else a lot of headaches and money!! People should definitely have an honest mechanic!! It could be your life or money that you may not have!!! If it were an option this business would have got ZERO stars!!!!Service: General repairs & maintenance

I recently had my car towed to Cooks (they towed it for me, showed up in 30mins). I always talked to the same guy and he was very helpful. He clearly could tell I had no idea what I was doing (dealing with a broken car). He told me there was probably a warranty for my transmission and told me to talk to Ford. Well there was a warranty but I didn't really understand what they were telling me. He ended up calling Ford also and spoke to someone about the warranty and the issues with my car because he felt like they were "gipping" me. I am officially recommending this guy to everyone. He was kind and patient with me and I never got a sleazeball feeling I get from most mechanics. Thanks Cooks!

ASK! ASK! ASK! First what the charges will be. Oil change that took 1/2hr, 1qt, oil filter $91.00. Try to support local buisness but got greased worse than corporate. Go somewhere else. Outrageius mark up!

Always done great work on my 2001 Accord. When the transmission went up Dave respectfully told me that a new transmission was worth more than the car itself. With the breaks going up on my 2015 Elantra, I wouldn't imagine taking it somewhere else, I'll be dropping it off here today!

I brought my car for tune-up. They called me up confirming if I had issues with lost of power. After confirming, they worked on it for 3 days and reported my air intake tube has leak. They couldn't find a replacement so they got one from the junk yard. It cost me $1 for the part! My nissan is back up and running fine again. I definitely recommend this shop.

Cook Auto is great! We have been coming to Dave and his guys for at least 5 years now and we always get great service, and very fair prices. Good, honest mechanics are hard to come buy, but we have one local...right down the street from us. Even when it came to putting big $'s into my wife's old van, he was honest and said 'i dont recommend repairing this because of the age, and possibly more problems down the road'. My in-laws, and my parents take theyre vehicles to Cooks.Highly Recommended. A++

Took my car there to get work on the axle done which the repair was completed and I give them a star for that. But issue started literally the day I picked my car back up from them. After my car sat out in the lot for 6 days awaiting warranty payment confirmation and the arrival of the ordered parts I get my car back with a check engine light on. I call them back immediately like hey I did t drop it off to u 6 days who like this wth is going on..... they made me make an appointment to meet there schedule when I literally just picked up the car 20 minutes before I called back. They look at the car and tell me that a animals of some kind are threw some stuff. You would think that they would have some type of loyalty or consideration knowing that it went to their shop fine to atleast offer some type of deal to covers some of the cost to repair. Nope they basically made it seem as if it was their problem at all and it did t matter to them that the car was indeed damaged on their lot a bunch of jerks in there selfless jerks who don t know how to run a business at all. As a business you should look out for the customer who may return because they trust you not give there car back with more issues than it had coming In and say oh well

I've taken my car (a '93 Accord that some mechanics have laughed at) here twice. The staff is polite, and they do quick, affordable, high quality work. My only regret is that I didn't start coming here sooner!

Just had my daughter's car serviced at Cook's. Good work, at a reasonable price. Got the car back in two days. Thanks Dave ! Would definitely go back if I needed work done.

Over priced. Replaced new parts that did not need to be changed. Got prices from 3 other places after hearing the price he charged. It was from $400 to $300 more than other repair shops. Was not happy with work before. Now for sure never go back. And will be posting on FB the bill and this post. Just a shame how a garage takes advantage.

Me and my family have trusted Dave and Brian with all our car needs for at least 15 years. If you are having car issues take it to Cooks, they will take care of you.

Our regular shop was booked solid and my son needed his car to get to work that night. I called Cook's and they fit us in and got the work finished that day.

Had a acura ball joint that came off got the car towed to the shop overnight acura was done in morning before work amazing. Will do business here more.

They wanted to charge $650.00 to replace entire exhaust system....Took it to Mineke and got it diagnosed and fixed a whole lot cheaper and didn't have to replace exhaust

The worst ever- save your money - 100 an hour - super expensive and you will have to go some place else to eventually to get it done right - i don't think they know what they are doing there.
