Excellent service. Both Sean and Mike were super helpful and courteous. Able to squeeze me in and handle most of it over the phone to help my wife not have to deal with much. All the added bonuses of getting tires here really impressed me too. Will definitely be returning!

This is the best place to go for tires, hands down! Over the last 5 years, I ve bought tires about six times and they always have the best price as well as awesome customer service. At least for truck, van, and trailer tires.

Avoid this location if you're looking for a quality inspection and want it done properly.After passing the inspection, their staff entered the car information incorrectly into the database (which was confirmed by state police and the MVA) and the manager refused to amend it or offer another inspection since it was their error. Essentially they said "not our problem" for such a petty mistake they didn t want to apologize for. Unbelievably unprofessional and terrible business practice. If you do go at your own risk for an inspection, watch them like a hawk and you have to follow up with the MVA yourself. Don t trust that they ll actually do their job correctly because clearly they will not. Telling all friends and family to avoid all Southern Tire locations. Do better.Service: Vehicle Inspection

Took my new used truck in for a state inspection. The folks at Southern Tire are true to their word and treated me very fairly in repairing the items found on the inspection. I would recommend them if in the need of a state inspection.

Got my state inspection there. They were great at explaining everything and what needed to be done. They also have good references to places to fix thing as well as there own estimates. Highly recommend!

New to the area, good reviews so I gave them a shot.Great customer service; Sean was very helpful and stayed in constant contact/updates. They managed to inspect and service both of my cars very quickly, without an appointment. And kudos to the mechanics, their attention to detail and quality work, as they got my cars running better than they have for a long time.Very happy I didn't have to go through another horror story with a new mechanic shop, and I will definitely be using them again for all of my vehicle's needs. Strongly recommend using their services if you intend on getting your work done right.

Was on vacation and needed a muffler replacement in a hurry. They were only shop that could squeeze us in fast. Looked at the car the same day and did the service next day once part was available. No one else would even look at it for at least another two or three days. Called a friend who lives in the area for a recommendation and he said they have always been good to him and he didn't steer us wrong. They were very professional, good pricing and accommodating to our situation.

Definitely recommend. Very quick and easy to get service. I called early and was able to come right away. Sean was great! Very efficient, friendly, and professional. The cost is very reasonable. I had service done a couple of months ago and I've been meaning to write a review. Great service and friendly fellas. I had a continuing issue with alignment that Southern Tire was able to diagnose very quickly. Sean did a great job of explaining the reason I kept losing the alignment. They accommodated my schedule which made it easier for me. I experienced nothing but absolute professionals at Southern Tire. Thanks Very Much!

I had concerns over a recently replaced catalytic converter that I thought was leaking. On Wednesday, after making a few phone calls in Lusby all telling me they were swamped and couldn t take me until next week. Luckily, I was able to get in at Southern Tire the next day on Thursday but would have to leave it. I arrived at 8:00 on Thursday and they looked at it right away. My concerns turned out to be just the type of catalytic converter that was installed. No leaks, no problems, I am good to go on my trip.Very grateful customer- thank you. Services: Tires, Auto engine diagnostic, Auto emissions testing

Southern Tire is the best!!! Everyone is so nice and professional. Prices are great as well. I was a bit nervous going in because everywhere else said I had to make an appointment to have 2 tires put on. Well Southern Tire had me in and out in 30 minutes. Thank you Southern Tire and to all the guys who helped me. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them.

This shop is and most importantly HONEST!!! They didn t hustle or try to sell me, they re fast and reliable, I have taken my car for oil change, repair A-arms and subsequent alignment, ABS brake sensor repair, and every time I ve been happy.I ve been to countless auto shops and these guys have earned business.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Brakes, Auto maintenance

Was having to put air in my tire every day or 2 for close to a month after I purchased a vehicle. I thought it was cold weather until I called to have it diagnosed. I didn't need an appointment and their wait times were fair. Awesome communication and customer service, best of tire services I've encountered in decades

Would definitely recommend this shop and will return. I came in for the first time to get a four wheel alignment on a "new" used car that was pulling to the right. I wasn't 100% sure it was the alignment, because I didn't know the full history of the vehicle.I was a bit late for my appointment, so they put someone ahead of me. That was no problem for me, and it was nice that they let me know so I could run a couple errands and return in an hour instead of sitting around. They were extremely busy on a Wednesday morning, which is a good sign, and they handled the business well.They only had to make slight adjustments, and re-center the steering wheel. They said the car was still pulling, and suggested it was radial pull from a defect in the tires. They offered to rotate the tires at no extra charge. Best part was that they didn't even offer to sell me new tires (they were still new, but some cheap Chinese brand put on by the previous owner, which I would never choose.) I didn't have the money to purchase tires at the time, but will definitely return here when it's time to do so.The guy at the desk was extremely friendly and informative. They don't pressure you and really make you feel comfortable. They don't talk down to you or try to sell a bunch of services to you like other chain auto shops. I printed out a coupon for the alignment, but they automatically applied it to the bill! Turns out they just apply promotions they are running automatically. That's a very nice touch, and will save me a trip to the library next time (I have no printer.)The issue has been corrected and my car feels so much better drive. I'm very happy with my service here and am looking forward to returning.I'd say the only negative point is that you can't really pop in here and expect them to service your car quickly without an appointment. But that's because they've seemed to earn great popularity, so that's hardly a negative.

Legit tire place with those down-home country feels. Sean took great care of me and my tire needs. Plus, the turn-around time was quick. Just under an hour for a set of four tires ... with no appointment. Can t say enough good things about this place. I ll be back to get my rear drum brakes replaced, with parts I bought on amazon. It s all good at Southern Tire.

I have been relying on Southern Tire for the past 13 years to fix my cars. They are professional and always look to help the customer out when possible. They do a great job and understand what customer service means. Several times, I have asked them to replace something and they simply just adjusted it for me and saved me $$$ because there was no need to replace it even though I thought so due to mileage and age.Simply, the best!

I've been to this place twice, each visit with a different car, within the last week. Once for tires, and once for a MD inspection. Both visits were superb. They are honest, fair, timely, and down to earth, and have earned my business for the rest of the time I live in Maryland. Sean, specifically, was extremely helpful. My dad and I respectively have been taking our cars to Southern Tire & Auto Center for years. It's a great experience every time. Sean recently refunded me for an honest mistake and it is not often you find a shop that is so committed to customer satisfaction. I highly recommend this business for your automotive needs.

I routinely use Southern Tire for my auto service and have done so for over a decade. Their work has always been fairly priced and thorough. They honestly assess the need for repairs or service. It's hard to find an auto shop that you trust. I've been using Southern Tire for a long time because I found that in their shop.

Buddy recommend this spot and they did not disappoint. They were up front with the work and did not try to charge me for non work. Had tire stems replaced and was in and out in 1 hr. I will only be using this spot for my tire needs. Thank you for the great work!!!!!

Very friendly, even when I freaked out discovering ball joint was bad. They explained options. Prices are right. But service can't be matched. My aging Jeep will only go to them from on. So friendly. So nice. So understanding.

Very efficient, friendly and trustworthy. They do not try to heap on unneeded or early repairs like many of their competitors, but they do make it a point to give you good advise on what maintenance you really need, or could expect in the near future. This is the first time we have gone to them with a tire repair, we will be going back in the future for tires and other maintenance as well.

Been a customer since 1985. This time got 4 tired and brake job on F-150. Rides and stops like new. Great auto service !!!

Really happy with the service, price, professionalism, honesty and price. Yeah, I said price again. So, I had been looking online for new tires for the last two months. I also get tires at Costco too. But wow. Keep watching their website, a goodyear tire popped up that was too good to be true. I went to store and they said wow. They thought the website was wrong. Nope it was there in the system. So tire manufacturers are changing tire rubber compounds constantly. Once in a while they lower the prices to close out a tire. I got lucky and caught it. They were all gone in a couple of days. So just keep checking website and you might get lucky. They also fixed a problem with my truck that another place couldn't. They were honest and said they would try, but couldn't promise anything. They came through and cost was minimal. I will definitely be back.

Love these guys, they bend over backwards to give good service. I bought new tires, asked for an alignment and they came out and said that I should wait on the alignment until I could get a wheel bearing fixed because it would just go out of alignment quickly.Many places would have just done the alignment and not said anything.Kudos to these guys.

I was looking for a tire shop around the area around 8am because I got a flat the night before. A shop across the street was closed so I decided to come here due to necessity. The employee who greeted me was very professional and knowledgeable. He found a tire that could fit my custom wheels and was honest with the sell. Another employee came out and started working on my tire. The negative experience comes from balancing my tires. The weights they put on my wheels looked sloppy and rushed. I was also hoping they would color match them. I had to go back to my tire shop in DC to rebalance my wheel. Second, the rim was scratched up during the process of the replacement. So, my black rim has multiple bare metal spots. Not the most attention to detail shop but it got the job done.
